I have been here many times, and will say my favorite thing is Letter E, fried eggs, fries, and french toast. It might by favorite breakfast in Weehawken and Union City. They season everything so you don't have to add salt and pepper. Just eat the way they prepare it. I like to have that with their coffee, which is done very well. They add a decent amount of milk, and they get out the natural sugars of the milk, so the coffee doesn't really need extra sugar. They also have a multitude of other things here, it's amazing how much they churn out in that space. read more

What a wonderful little place! I only had their Almond Bubble tea and I love it. The place was clean, my order came out very quickly and the service was excellent. I was on phone while waiting for my order and the lady who gave me my tea made sure I had everything before I left the counter, before moving onto next customer. I was touched by their genuine service. I can't wait to try their breakfast food and other bubble teas. I also want to try their Mango waffles. First time having snow ice and now I am a bit obsessed. I don't know how I ever lived without snow ice and I am kind of glad Sunshine Ice is a little of a drive for me to get to, because I'd be having snow ice twice a day if I lived walking distance. I had the small size (16oz) of mango snow ice, which comes with mango boba, basil seeds, cornflakes, and condensed milk. The mango snow ice base was so light and flavorful. All of the toppings worked well together and I particularly liked the texture contrast the cornflakes added. I have learned from my first visit and now only order the large size (22 oz) because even though it is huge, the ice cream is light and fluffy so you don't get too full. I also tried the watermelon slush which was pretty good too. read more

Pretty good. Fresh fruit and not too sweet. The snow ice is finer than traditional shaved ice. This more like a Taiwanese snow dessert than a Hawaiian shaved ice. The small size is ample but with tax and tip, each one is about $10. Cute little spot. It's been a while since I've had their food (not the most popular) but their bubble teas is on point and so are their slushies! I had the lychee slushie which has small pieces of lychee fruit. My brother loves their honey mango bubble tea and his girlfriend the mango green tea. My son also enjoys their ice cream. Staff is wonderful as always but it can be a bit if a wait for your food. I'm definitely addicted to the lychee slushie read more

Sunshine Ice is awesome!!! Fresh and delicious! I'm so glad this wonderful little place is so close to my home. They deliver, but you should still go into the store because the friendliness is unparalleled. We usually get a banana milkshake with boba for my hubbs, a mango smoothie with boba for me and Remi sometimes shares ours or gets his own. They know exactly what we like to get every time we go in. It's family run and a few of them are always there working on school work or something. It feels really nice, like you're in someone's home, but that home is a cute and bright bubble tea store! I hope more people keep coming here and also realize how amazing it is. Park avenue needs more cute, delicious and family run places. Let's turn Weehawken around, together! Awesome service. Great food. Amazing taste. I'm asian and I think this is the only asian restaurant I've been that is not rushing with your order, answers your questions and even lets you make your own snow ice or etc. they let me make my own breakfast and they made it. Parking is horrible because it's street parking, but I'm telling you, it's worth it. Doesn't matter how long it will take for you to look for a parking, but it is so worth it. read more

This is a wonderful place. It's green for spring and very cute all the time. It's true breakfast is served at all times. The crossiant egg sandwich was really good as was the waffle with the mini sausages. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious and refreshing. It's a bit pricy but well worth it. Sunshine Ice is a Weehawken staple for my cousin, Nelsy, and I. We love their turkey cucumber mayo sandwich, potato wedges, and boba milk tea (particularly the coconut) with tapioca. We have been coming here for years, initially discovering it for it's shaved ice: I'm surprised I have yet to write a review of this place! The food is delicious and the service is fantastic as well. Although, I don't live in the area at the moment, I do make it a point to come back here when I'm in town. In fact, I am very excited to move back to Weehawken and have this right down the street from me. There's indoor and outdoor seating and street parking is usually not an issue. I love this place! It's perfect if you're in the area and want bubble tea or other Taiwanese treats. I ordered the Rose Milk tea which was new and it was fabulous. I was the only person in the cafe but it was EXTREMELY clean. Hand sanitizer was readily available. Highly recommend this authentic bubble tea shop!! read more

My wife and I went to this place in a whim after having tried snow ice/shaved ice only a couple times. This place definitely hit the spot. We ordered the party mix snow ice and it was definitely amazing. The small was able to fill both of us and you don't get that dairy full feeling after. We definitely wanna try a lot of the other flavors including a special avocado flavor. This place also offers some very good breakfast options that we will think about trying. Have you ever had somebody recommend you a place, and they over exaggerate about how good their selections/options are? Well this was the place I was highly recommended to try, but it certainly wasn't over exaggerated. On my way to the mall I stopped by this place just to see why my friend was so blown away by this establishment. I ordered the taro bingsu like ice cream (It's not called bingsu because it's Thai not Korean) and a taro bubble tea. Now, I've never had that kind of ice cream, but boy let me tell you something! That shaved milk ice was mouth watering. Which is funny because as soon as it touched your tongue it melted. I could have easily ordered another, but than my bubble tea wouldn't have gotten the time of day. The bubble tea was alright in my opinion. Their smoothies and slushies are better. But what kind of geniuses came up with this concoction and why isn't it as popular as that dumb rolled up ice cream? Anyway, I digress. The ice cream alone gives this place a 5 star rating. Definitely come through here if you're in the mood for ice cream or smoothies/slushie/bubble tea. read more

This was a wonderfully delicious experience. Who would have thought I would love to eat sweet honey bread out of a vessel made of bread, topped with melty chocolate and vanilla ice cream and an array of fruits. I could not stop eating. Great place!!! Been here multiple times for the juices, teas, smoothies, and just had breakfast. I never had any disappointments with the service. The breakfast was pretty good. I had menu option C...over easy eggs with bacon and wedges for 4.95. I think they use Turkey bacon. The wedges came out warm, but not the eggs. Still okay breakfast for the price. Highly recommend this place for a quick stop to hydrate, get some anti-oxidants, and maybe even detox with their teas. Breakfast is more of a quick stop for locals. read more

Nevertheless, the gentleman working there was incredibly helpful and we ended up getting a blueberry coffee cake slice as well as some walnut bread slice that looked more like a hummingbird cake slice and two different breads that were simply delicious!! The gentleman actually said he was from Oakland, Oakland, California, so that was funny to me since I'm from the Bay Area also. Ambience in the store was very clean and rustic and if they weren't closing so soon I would've stayed to enjoy my pastry, but we had just finished eating at the Japanese taco spot down the street or alleyway? So look for my review on that! I can't wait to go back to Amy's bread and try more of their actual loaves of breads, as well as their pastries!!

There are never enough people working behind the counter, and even when there is one person in front of me it takes forever. Also, there is no clear indication where the beginning of the line forms so people are always cutting - intentionally and unintentionally. The last five times I wanted to buy something, I ended up leaving without making a purchase in order to get back to work in time. Frustrating!

There are a few barstools for sitting and a few small tables to sit, which is a plus. The location is tucked inside an Equinox (I walked right by it and was looking for it!).
