Loved the happy hour here, where you can get good food and drinks for a good price!…read more I came by to check out their happy hour Friday afternoon around 4 pm and it wasn't too crowded. Happy hour is offered daily 3-6 pm and 9 pm to close and includes both food and drink specials. They also offer all day specials on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. I had the LP margarita for $9 off the happy hour menu. It was a pretty good margarita! We started with their complimentary salsa. I was very happy to find that it wasn't spicy but still very flavorful. I'm a picky eater and usually don't like restaurant salsas, but this was right up my alley. We then shared an order of their guacamole ($8.25 hh), cachetada ($6.25 hh), and a couple of tacos ($4.25 each). The guac was amazing as well, made with ripe avocados and just the right amount of salt and flavor. It comes with a giant plate of chips which were still warm from the fryer. I just wish there was more of it! For the tacos, I tried the ribeye, the gochujang carnitas (monthly special), and the regular carnitas. The regular carnitas was by far my favorite. The gochujang was okay but I personally found it too sweet, and the ribeye was a bit bland. I didn't try the cachetada as it was way too cheesy for my personal tastes, but I would recommend getting this if you like cheesy foods. My friend said it was like eating cheese straight up.

Glad I finally got to check this place out!…read more It's in the beautiful Vineyards shopping center in Porter Ranch, close to the AMC and Tifa Gelato shop (my gps had me park farther than needed). Extensive tequila and mezcal menu, Really attractive, sleek interior. Met my friend for a Tuesday lunch and discovered that all day Tuesday is Happy Hour! And, even better is that a la carte tacos on Tuesday are $3 instead of the normal HH price of $4.50! Aidan was our server-in-training and, while he was mistaken that I could sub mezcal for tequila for the HH, he was lovely. He was attentive when needed and also let us girls catch up! What we ordered and thought: -Chips and salsa brought to the table. Sadly both were mediocre; thankfully, this meant that I did not eat too many chips! -LP Margarita ($9 on HH); balanced and refreshing -Pacifico ($6 on HH) what I would expect -Madre Espadin Mezcal ($12) also what I would expect, though I wish the service were more authentic to CDMX, which is the vibe of the restaurant -Guacamole ($8.25 on HH) Fresh and tasty; again mediocre chips -Rib Eye Taco ($3 for Tuesday HH); had I known it was only 3 bucks, I would have ordered two. The meat was very flavorful and cooked beautifully, not overdone! -Corn off the Cobb Salad ($13.75) add Steak ($8.25) My friend LOVED her salad and also raved about the flavor, quality, and doneness of the steak. Great spot for lunch, as we didn't need a reservation, though from what people say, it gets very busy at night and on the weekends. They have a Sunday Funday that looks good, too!

Lovely spot for Mexican food with fun vibes!…read more I came for Sunday brunch/lunch with some friends. I made a reservation through Yelp a couple days beforehand and there was plenty of availability. The restaurant is located right off Ventura Blvd and has an attached parking garage in the basement which can be accessed via the parking lot behind the restaurant. There were plenty of spots available Sunday afternoon when I came. It's a bit hidden, but there is an elevator from the garage to the top level where the restaurant is located as well. We had two babies in strollers with us, so I requested a table with plenty of space nearby for the strollers. They seated us outside on their covered patio, and indeed, we had plenty of space. I peeked inside and there's also a nice lounge area with a beautiful flower wall as well as a proper dining area. When we arrived, there was a live DJ spinning tunes. I assume he's there during brunch hours, as he left around 3 pm when brunch ended. I started with a frozen lime margarita ($12). It was okay; it felt like it was only half frozen as the ice wasn't blended that well. For my main, I got the famous Anejo carne asada and shrimp plate for $40. Yes it was pricy, but the portion size was also huge! I was starving and somehow managed to finish the plate, but it'd be a great dish to share for two people with small appetites. I really enjoyed it as well. I asked for the steak to be cooked rare, and they didn't overcook it. Each bite was super tender and flavorful and paired well with the rice. Everyone else also enjoyed their dish. One friend got the wet chicken burrito for $15 and it was massive! Another got the veggie fajitas with steak added and really enjoyed her dish as well. Solid food all around. I would love to come back on a weekday and try their happy hour! Sipping on $5 margaritas and $6 sangrias sounds like my idea of a great time!

From the moment your plate hits the table, you can tell you're in for something special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. Whether you're a wet burrito lover or trying one for the first time, this spot will raise your standards. Las Fuentes isn't just good--it's the kind of place you start craving the second you leave. The inside has a great Spanish decor.

Let's start off with location wise it's very centrally located in the valley so you can get to it fairly quick. Parking was not it's best. It is on Ventura Blvd so street parking is very difficult. They do have onsite parking in the back but there's only about 5 spots only and it seems like most of them are take either by staff or delivery vehicles. Now walking into this place you are def transported into a very lively Mexican culture that is undeniably amazing. I loved the decor and how you just feel at home. They are playing music the whole time loud enough for you to feel the vibes but still be able to have conversations. Now the food let me just say 10/10. I had the mole the presentation is amazing and the taste of it is even better. My fiancé had the aguachiles con mango which he says are also a 10/10. Finally my mother ordered the queso birria tacos which were pretty good as well. The margarita flight was def my favorite, I am not a big margarita fan as they tend to be a bit sweet for my liking but these were actually pretty well balanced and delicious. Overall I had a great experience the service was good. Will def be coming back and will recommend.

Came in last night to celebrate a friend's birthday (they have happy hour all day Mon-Wed) and was pleasantly surprised. My friends started off ordering the HH guava margaritas, which they enjoyed. I ordered the coconut margarita (not on HH) a must !!!! Not overwhelmingly sweet and tasty! We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. Would definitely come back for the apps and drinks! They also have brunch which looks like fun.

I like it charred a little. I could have eaten a tub of their rice. So light, fluffy and flavorful. I'm not a bean person but even the beans were hitting the spot. So much I would order them again. Usually I try the beans once and that's it. I'm pretty sure the tortillas were homemade. I loved that they were thick enough to hold everything but soft enough to eat. Salsa was a little too spicy for my liking. Everything was seasoned well. Everyone was very nice! But I definitely had to use my high school Spanish. Between my Spanglish and her English it was no problem. It's a very small hole in the wall. Cases of beer were stacked against the wall. There were only about 5-6 two top tables. Not good for a crowd but definitely great food. I think there was one unisex bathroom. I didn't go in. Looking at the pictures online I didn't know there was an outdoor patio. Looks nice in the pictures. I'm not sure about a parking lot. We parked on the street on Parthenia which was a little scary because drivers don't care about people getting out of the car.
