Found this place while passing through for work. I love me a good torta, so thought this would hit the spot. Came in for lunch and it was pretty quiet. The menu was interesting, a fusion of different Latin American foods. I saw a few mentions about the milanesa, so went with that. The food came out quickly and on first glance everything looked good. Then noticed that there was only one very thin slice of breaded meat, which turned out to be way overcooked. It came with mayo, lettuce, tomato and avocado. They brought out salsa and jalapeños on the side. The food turned out to be pretty blah. The toppings seemed limited and the salsa was watered down and lack any sort of heat or flavor. The staff was friendly, but at the end of the day this torta was not worth the $13 that was spent. read more

25 min for French fries. Then two people come and order tortas and other stuff they get served first and are already eating while we were still waiting for fries. Next door jack in the box has fries for 4 bucks. I waited 25 minutes and paid 9 DOLLARS. Not coming back. Horrible service and stupid prices. read more

Ordered the ribeye steak torta. Portion was good But the meat lacked flavor and wasn't cooked very well. The salsa had no taste and watery. Ordered the beans and cheese pupusa and that was decent good size and taste. If they can make those improvements I would try it out again. read more

This place had the best tortas but I think they changed owners cuz they are not as good. Don't get me wrong they are still good but not the same. They stopped providing cilantro and picketed carrots with each torta maybe that was the trick. read more

this place used to be very good, however not anymore. My husband stop buying from here because he noticed that the place and mainly the kitchen was not clean. My experience was the worst I got a bone inside my torta, I almost chip a tooth because it was a shap and medium size bone. I went with a buddy who was hyping up the place. I had very high expectations, the place was very hidden and seemed like a nice little standard Hispanic restaurant. The menu had maybe had like 3 actual tortas so underwhelming for being named "Super Tortas", but besides that the menu was pretty basic. The lady at the register was nice and quick with her service so A+ for her. Anyways I get my torta that I ordered and let me tell you VERY UNDERWHELMING probably the smallest torta I've ever had and taste was just meh. If you are ever craving a torta, this is the place to come to. Right down the street from my house, on my block! I'm putting Sun Valley on the map. Nothing fancy & nothing ghetto either! These people are just serving up a torta the way it should be. You got rib eye, lettuce, tomato, avocado & mayo in between a soft, slightly toasted bolillo. The sandwich is delicious. You can order it with chicken, machaca or ham & I think I saw milanesa on the menu. They'll bring it to you w/ a radish on the side, a jar of jalapenos & a bottle of their homemade salsa. Don't forget to order it with an horchata & it's heaven. Expect the tortas to be about 6 something, which isn't expensive for a bomb sandwich. Absolutely love the tortas from this location. I have been coming here since the 90's and the tortas taste as delicious as they did then. We now travel from Santa Clarita to this location. The area is also nice to sit in and it's clean. We have never had a bad experience here. My go to is always the asada torta and their horchata... it never fails. read more

Sad to say I was just here today and the rib eye was different. That first rib eye torta I had a few months ago was a delicious torta reminiscent of the ones I had in Mexicali. The one I had today was a mediocre sandwich with a funny taste. The meat, the bread and even the lettuce was different. I asked the girl at the register if they had changed anything and she rudely said, "no, you're the only person to complain". Well, I wasn't complaining, I was asking a question. My poor rating today was as a result of the manager arguing with me about accepting a restaurant.com voucher I purchased. They stated they longer took them. When I told that the have no expiration date she told me owner hold instructed her not to take them anymore. After much debate, she took my voucher. However, I told her I had a few more I wanted to use later and she said they would not take them and I should ask restaurant.com for a refund. Really?? She was rude and short with me. Their tortas are good - but nothing is so good for bad service and rudeness. I am no longer going to patronize them. Recently I found this place, please don't judge the place by the way it looks outside or its parking entrance , Why are this Tortas my favorite soft bread lightly spread with beans, generous amount of Rib eye steak lettuce, tomatoes Simple is better. My favorites are the lomo (ribeye) and milanesa (breaded ribeye) tortas. They are large! One is enough for a meal but if you've got a big appetite try them both. Super Torta was a spacious eatery. Great for groups. They specialize in Mexican food. I didn't know what to order. The menu was extensive and I was too early for the Wednesday Tortas Special. I hadn't been here in a few years, but used to love the joint. I happened to be traveling to the area, so I decided to stop by. Old memories of there savory tortas flowed to my mind. Just as in the past the bread was perfectly toasted and the guacamole and beef were perfectly spread. The horchata (rice drink) was perfectly blended and cold as it quenched my thirst.
