    Margarita Pizza. Yum!

We tried the Margarita and I loved the basil drizzle which gave the pizza the perfect Margarita flavor. The crust is crispy, even on the bottom...in the best way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The venue is open air and super chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can try multiple eateries at one sitting which we did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was simple. Order at the terminal and they text your phone when it's ready. On point! We will be back.

The best pizza I've had anywhere.

Their margarita pizza is the best I've ever had. You can tell the dough is homemade and the sauce is imported, Italian tomatoes, and the mozzarella is a step above everybody else great pizza.

Great food! I greatly enjoyed my experience at Al Dente and look forward to my next trip! The pizza was great as well (forgot to take a picture)

I feel bad giving a poor review to a new restaurant. I know it's hard out there for a new place but like... I don't mind "our take on ____ (traditional recipe)," if it's made really clear that it's a revisioning of the recipe. Their description says, "San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil." So I was bamboozled into thinking the thing they market as a margherita pizza would have some similarity to an actual margherita pizza. It does not. It's a floppy undercooked cheese pizza with a light pesto drizzle. I originally wanted to order some other items but based on this I don't trust the rest of their menu. I would be embarrassed to serve this.

    Sausage and provolone boom!

WOW got takeout tonight... the pizza bowled us over... we got the sausage and provolone. the flavors were amazing. this is now our go to pizza place hands down...yum... Updated an hour later... ok add the antipasto salad which explodes w amazing quality meat and sharp cheeses AND the bread is a great compliment.

    Gnocchi Bolognese

Everything is a 10/10. I am obsessed with this hidden gem. These gnocchi were delicious. They make real italian food, not the typical italo-americano dishes and some people may not understand that. As an italian, i've been looking for a place like this for years and im so happy I have finally found real amazing italian food.

My Brother lives in St Pete and takes our Mom to eat there or calls in for take-out at least 2-3 times per month. We arrived tonight (Thursday) around 7:45 PM to bypass the dinner rush. Walking in to be seated, I noticed several empty tables that had not yet been cleared with several people waiting outside to be seated. I was told "there will be at least a 10-15 minute wait, to give my name, and to wait outside." I thought maybe there were enough people waiting already to take up the empty tables, but that wasn't the case. We sat outside in the cold waiting and watching the guy stand at the bar doing nothing to help bus the empty tables, some of which were right by the window. After 15 minutes or more, we were finally called in last walking by the same uncleared tables, led to another table as the table cloth was being placed on it, no menus, no apology for the extra long (unnecessary) wait outside in the cold. When we finally placed our order, we waited some more. Finally our server said "there was a mix up and our order had not gone through." When Mom's favorite seared salmon finally arrived, it was dry and overcooked. I have never written a bad review on Yelp in my life. But, I hated to see my precious Mom & Brother treated this way. Loyal customers should not be taken for granted.

It wasn't coded with allergies anymore. The server said she would help me with the gluten free options. I ended up ordering a tuna salad because I wasn't sure what was really considered gluten free. The tuna salad was ok not great. The tuna was cooked a little too much for me. I was afraid to try the dressings. The server was super nice. The ambiance was cute and clean.

You seemingly seat yourself so we chose a table underneath the expansive oak in the back. Great seat but keep in mind that when you're in nature, some small bugs might fall off the branches lol! The service was great although we had a couple mixups with our ordering. We ordered a cheeseless pizza for my allergic husband but it arrived with vegan cheese (made with nuts, which he's also allergic to). They ended up attempting to correct the issue and were very apologetic but again the incorrect pizza came out only minus cheese so he was able to ultimately eat it. We didn't have the heart to tell our server it was wrong again and we were very tired since it was getting late. I ordered the fig pizza which was delicious albeit a little dry. I would ask for a dipping sauce next time perhaps. I think we will be back but it will take me convincing my husband it's a safe choice. We were also told that they were missing a lot of staff members due to their truck being over at The Sound.

Well, I've been looking for my Italian spot on the west coast, and I could just cry tears of JOY! This place rejuvenated me, gave me a night of pure delight. They started me right with the perfect wine & marinated olives and table bread. I know what I was coming for, mixed seafood with marinara and linguini. The sauce was absolutely perfect. Not sweet and full of onions!!! But garlic-y, basil forward, with plump mussels, super tender calamari, and poppin' shrimp. The service was excellent- the waiter gave me great dessert choices too and will say that the tartufo was absolutely mind blowing. It was our first time here and they were absolutely slammed... for good reason. The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sauce tasted homemade, the chicken was perfectly breaded and tender, and the portion size was generous. The garlic knots were incredible -- soft, buttery, and full of garlic. I didn't even get a picture because we dug in immediately. That should tell you everything. Even with how busy they were, the service was still great. Michelle was kind, attentive, and handled the rush with such a positive attitude. It's in a prime location near the hotels and right off 19, so I can see why they stay busy. It was very good but I was a little disappointed that it didn't come on an Italian sub bread, as pictured in the online menu. I'll have to ask if that is an available option next time. The owners are from Naples and the quality from what I saw was way higher than I expected for a restaurant situated right next to a hotel, but it is definitely worth giving it a try. I can't wait to try some of the entrees, the calzone, pizza and Stromboli. I will definitely be back! Quick update. I just called them and unfortunately, their sandwiches are only available on foccacia bread.....no Italian sub bread.
