Ate there the other night with my family. We ordered: scallop appetizer, kids' pizza, sea bass special, gnocchi, and I think a dish with green-lipped mussels.
Started the meal with an "amuse bouche" of lobster tail, quite a delicious, unexpected treat. Scallop appetizer was perfectly seasoned and only a tad overcooked (for us, but really only a tad so I'm not complaining). The sea bass with mushrooms was perfectly cooked with amazing flavors. My daughter loved the kids' pizza and my other daughter raved about her gnocchi, although neither of us can remember what the sauce was. We cannot remember what my husband had although I seem to remember it had green-lipped mussels and he was very happy. So, overall the food was excellent. Portions are just the right size. The service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and very professional. Stunning setting and beautifully lit.
Now, for the reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars... I (and only I) was sick later that night. I cannot say for certain, but I suspect it was from the buttery/cheesy spread they served with the bread at the beginning of the meal. I am the only one who tried it, and it tasted off to me. Again, I cannot say for sure, it's just what I'm thinking.
Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed eating here and will return without a doubt. read more
