During our recent trip to Costco, my wife suggested we grab a quick bite at a place she used to visit with her mother years ago. The experience started a bit awkwardly when the cashier who assisted us gave us a weird stare as if we were in the wrong store. The environment of the store seemed quite dark and off putting. The gal working behind the counter is not built for customer service. Three people waiting while she chats up the cute guy, without even an "I'll be with you." People behind me went elsewhere. Service was bad. Unfriendly people and the waiter took my order wrong. Food was not bad, but nothing special either. I am not coming back.

This is my 2nd time over there and the 1st time it was just as bad, you would think they would have the food better then before and it's been 2 years sense the first time i been there and I order a steak sandwich, the lattes was dry and the frys I got was watery and soggy as while as the bread for the sandwich and the steak was dry and it taste like it was 2 days old and it was hard to bite, and it's as if they saved it from fridge and I try to give it away but none of my family members like it, my dog took a long time to chew it, i would of have a much better meal and save my money read more

This is the third time I've been there. The service has been very slow. We waited 8 minutes to get the one and only person to take our drink order. Which was fine we didn't mind. Took another 12 minutes to get two cafe con leches. He was busy flirting with a patron. Then he took our order another 24 minutes for things ordered from the deli cases. The only thing I ordered from the kitchen never came because he forgot to order it. The past two times we had similar incidents. Could be a great place only if service improves. read more

This is one of the best little cafés in town. The triple sandwiches are perfect and the spinach quiche was a great treat to take home and put in the oven. I just moved to the area, and I was looking for some Venezuelan or Colombian food and found this place. I'll tell you this I'm upset that I couldn't get pan de Bono or a good tequeno, the service is slow and the lady just looks lost... I speak Spanish so it wasn't like there was a miscommunication in the meal order It was the same thing yesterday that's the upsetting part. Yesterday no Milojas or pan de Bono, the tequeno was really good yesterday they did make it fresh that was the best part. Today I ordered the yellow corn pancake (arepa or cachapa) with eggs and the arepa tasted like it was from the frozen isle in Walmart, not to be rude but the ones Goya has that's are from the frozen isle are much better. And today's tequeno was raw on the inside, still no pan de Bono or milojas just once again a empty case with dried looking flan.... I'll keep going back for the empanadas which are delicious, sandwiches but other then that it's an okay place that could use some improvement on how they make the food, staff, and keeping the pastry shelf's looking a bit fuller read more

The staff is the worst, argumentative, lazy, disrespectful and no common sense. I went to pickup an order and because they ran out of wrap tortillas early in the day, and they didn't bother to replace them. The person I picked up for waited about an hour and a half for them to make it. I had to repeatedly suggest the staff replace the missing ingredient or use a substitute. When the owner finally arrived with the tortillas, the waitress snatched my phone to read the order again. I took it back and told her not to touch it. Then the owner came over and did the same thing. I said "don't touch my phone. What the hell?" He got upset with me for saying hell and repeatedly lectured me how he considered it profanity, and that word cannot be said in his religious establishment. He defended his staff's behavior and reluctance to make a big order because they didn't have a tortilla for one of the items. They do not understand how to run a restaurant or deal with people. They also don't respect patrons enough to know you don't touch a stranger's phone during a pandemic. I can only imagine the lack of common sense they have with the way they make the food. Stay away, it's not worth the migraine and waste of time. read more

Excellent cafe con leche! It's better than most of the Cuban coffee I've had in Miami.
