Pros: friendly staff to drop clothes off with and several convenient locations. Cons: high probability that your nice clothes will come back with lint, tears and random ink spots all over. Pro-tip: Their motto per employee Jessica is "accidents happen" and their manager Lori chalks up their incompetence as regular wear and tear for your brand new clothes. Summary: Avoid unless you are into dry cleaning services that charge you to ruin your clothes. Recommendation: go elsewhere. Overview: on two separate occasions this year, after dropping off our dry cleaning we received our clothes back from Al Philip's damaged. (Dropped off with no spots or holes but picked up after cleaning with ink spots and holes) First was 2 months ago. My wife took her newly cleaned dress out for dinner only to see ink spots on the front, and sides of her $700 dress. She took it back, and the staff apologized and said that they missed a pen in a recent load (nice quality control!). Thankfully they were able to get their ink explosion gift out of her dress after multiple tries. We figured it was an anomaly and took another batch of clothes to them for dry cleaning. Big mistake. My wife took her newly cleaned $400 jacket that has been worn all of 5 times out of the plastic and hanger to only find multiple ink spots again and torn fabric. She took it back and after waiting 3 weeks they removed the ink spots but said the tears they caused should be considered by us as just normal wear and tear... We have never in the history of dry cleaning ever experienced this level of utter incompetence, and irresponsibility masquerading as a "service". This business gets 0 stars if I could give it. read more

I am beyond disappointed in Al Phillips. Let's face it, there are plenty of cheaper options to choose from. I patronized this business because the quality was good and the Customer Service was even better. Sadly, the customer service has taken a nose dive in recent months. I dropped off clothes on Monday and triple confirmed that the items would be returned on Wednesday. I needed a specific dress for a business trip on Thursday morning and I wanted to ensure it would be back in time. I arrived for pick up on Wednesday evening and was given two of the three I'd dropped off. There was absolutely no mention of the third item. I showed the employee my claim ticket, which showed three items, and asked where the dress was. Another employee looked in the system and said "Oh. Looks like that one is delayed." That's it. No additional details, no explanation as to why, and zero indication of when the item would be returned. When I complained, she went into challenges with a new software system. I proceeded to pay more than $30 for the two items that were ready and requested a call from the manager. This is only the latest disappointment with this location. Until recently, the large sign overhead read "next day service." Next day service hasn't been available for months. Similarly, they used to text when items were ready - no more. Customers should not pay a premium for subpar service. Once I receive the "delayed" item, I will be finding another dry cleaners. read more

Horrible service!!! Dropped my clothing off to be missing items!! The so called manager didn't help at all. I was told the Vice president of the company Lorie had to come and view cameras in order to get an answer! Oh and I have to wait a week to get a answer! The girl who took my items in-Autumn was unorganized from the beginning, I should have went with my first mind and went elsewhere!! Never again!!! It cost me 250 dollars to find out this place is the worst!! The manager also revealed the clothes I put in for clean and press was only pressed and the items I needed pressed was cleaned and pressed!! Worst experience ever!!!!!! I have gone here multiple times due to how close it is to where I live and recommended by friends but every time I take all my uniforms in and ask for military creases on all my shirts they crease one shirt and the rest are not. This has continued to happen and I am paying for nothing at this point. read more

They cleaned our items fine, but did not honor the coupon I clearly presented at drop off, and did not offer any kind of discount for the overpriced service. The gentleman at the desk was polite and pleasant but this refusal to honor the coupon was off putting. It was certainly not his fault since he had to follow the rules set by Al Phillips managers, so I did not push the issue, but I was disappointed of the peculiar treatment and not applying their own promotions. When you pick up your item, you are stuck having to pay whatever they say! There are a ton of cheaper and better cleaners all around this part of town - just go there. Al Phillips in general is grossly overpriced for average work anyway - clothes always come back with some wrinkles here and there. Local mom and pop cleaners are much more careful with your clothes and do it with a smile. We should patronize them more - I certainly will. read more

You know what they say.... location, location, location. It's on the corner of an intersection within the strip mall so parking is hell and it's right next to the UPS store so that doesn't help either. However, that's the only bad things. Do wish they had a drive-thru. The younger girls that work there are usually bored but that's to be expected for a job like that. They are attentive though and the clothes always comes back clean from their central warehouse area where they actually do the dry cleaning. What's neat is that all your preferences, and information is stored from any Al Phillips so you don't have to tell them how you like your clothes done. Realized this when the gal gave me a ticket after asking for my number. Another neat thing is that they do have a mobile service. Costs more but might need it at some point. Eight pieces cost about $38, which comes to a little under $5 a piece. A little pricier than I've paid in other cities but as long as it's clean, and on-time, it's worth it. read more

Been here a few times. People inside were really nice and they have always had my clothes ready on time. Being that this is very close to my house, this is the dry cleaning store that I use. Parking is kinda crappy since the store is located on the corner and there are people driving from the grocery store and there is a stop sign with 3 way traffic. Wow! This place is awesome-- a bit hidden, but yet conveniently located right next to Smith's. They are open on weekends, even Sundays! When you first walk in it is not much to look at... It's a typical dry cleaners. They do have a K-cups machine with a few selection set up for a free cup of joe to get you going, which is a nice touch, but it's their service & prices that make this location a win. I dropped off 8 pieces on Saturday and they were ready for pick up on Monday morning! One of my dresses, the top half is white and the bottom half is black, was not dry cleaned...they informed me that they preformed a test & were concerned that the black would bleed into the white and wanted to inform me of the possibility of it bleeding before cleaning it. I really appreciated the fact that they didn't just dry clean it and hope that it didn't bleed over. I feel like most people would agree it's easier to be understanding when you are given a choice. Tina, the store manager was extremely helpful. She also informed me that Al Phillips will in fact take other competitors coupons-- this made my day! (I happened to have some Fazio coupons) Even before the coupons the price was still cheaper than Fazio and afterwords I ended up only paying $33 & change for 7 items!!! HATE. Worst customer I've ever experienced, and from the DISTRICT MANAGER no less. They added a stain to my BR pants, which they couldn't get out after three times of trying (of course each time setting that stain, plus the original light soiling, more and more). The manager said they wouldn't pay more than $50 for "cheap Banana Republic pants," and blamed ME for the stain they added, claiming I "left lint in the pocket" (which actually magically appeared from this "lint" after there second failed attempt to remove a little dirt). She told me I could try suing them for the fair market value to replace the pants ($155.00), and ended up hanging up on me. This is unrelated to getting any services at Al Phillips. This morning I brought my mother to Supercuts which is located right next to Al Phillips. She needs assistance with mobility and uses a walker. A young man with the Al Phillips uniform on by the name of Aiden came running to help us. He was so kind. She was shaking and was afraid to fall she was so dizzy. (Had to bring her anyways, no known cure for her dizziness via doctors diagnosis) thank you to that young man. I'm honestly not even sure what I dropped off to get cleaned, was cleaned. Took my comforter here to get the dog hair cleaned off and the drool spots removed from the bottom of the comforter. It cost me close to $30 with a 'first timer' 20% off discount. When I picked it up and took it home, before I even took it out of the bag, I could see drool spots through the clear bag. Those had to have been noticeable to the person who bagged it. When I took it fully out of the bag, I'm pretty sure not one drool spot was removed. Some came off when I scratched them with my finger nail so I'm not even sure it was cleaned. I'll never go back here. read more

RUINED my clothes... twice! I dropped off a brand new shirt that I had purchased for my daughter's wedding. When I picked it up it had a hole in it! When I complained to the manager, she offered to refund me the dry cleaning fee... not pay for the shirt. I figured this was just a fluke and came back a second time with another new dress (worn once and less than a month old). This time when I picked it up it had two holes in it! When I brought it to the manager's attention she said that not only would she not reimburse me for the dress, but that she wouldn't refund me for the dry cleaning either! She tried to blame it on the manufacturer saying that the dress was cheaply made and that's why it ended up with holes. Worst dry cleaner I have been to with no customer service. read more
