Food was tasty however the portion in my chicken tacos were small enough for a toddler and the rice and beans can feed a family of 3 how does that make sense. Was looking on Yelp for a good place to get pollo asado al carbon and this popped up . Had to say while the neighborhood is not the beat the chicken here is of the hook. I order two chicken, rice beans, potato salad and ensalada de nopales . The chicken was nice and juicy with a great taste . Every bite was delicious . The place is simple and straightforward. It's family owned and they treat you like family. The food was delicious. My wife and I are always on the lookout for a good pollo asado al carbon (chicken grilled over coals). Al Pollo did not disappoint. The seasoning was perfect and the chicken was juicy, tender and crisp. We had the family meal with 2 Pollos, tortillas, beans rice and potato salad. We'll be back soon! read more

You can easily miss this place if u weren't looking. we were driving by looking for something to eat and thankfully I have a husband with great vision who saw the pollos asados specials advertisement board attached to the roof of a truck parked across the street from the restaurant. We stopped by and I'm so glad we did. We got a half chicken meal that comes with half a grilled chicken, rice, whole beans, grilled onions and serranos along with corn tortillas and salsa. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our meal was extremely enjoyable. The salsa is flavorful and spicy but only mildly by our standards, and it compliments the chicken meal Really well. This tiny place with big flavor. Chicken is grilled perfectly. Forget about pollo loco. Absolutely love it. I drive out of my way for it. Perfect seasoning and very economic. The only downside is parking. It can be challenging. Other than that worth the trouble. read more

I put an order online for a pick-up with this store and paid 29.33. I received an email saying this order is canceled, but they charged my account. Likewise, I called the store, and they said they were out of food and that the money will be in my account in 7-10 business days. I waited and didn't get anything refunded. Called the store back and spoke to the general manager, he was rude, he wouldn't give me the corporate number to resolve this matter and was talking like this didn't happen, saying that his staff is not trained to say there is no more food. I call back and got an employee to give me the corporate number. Call corporate, and they put in a complaint, so I can be refunded my money. I received an email from Kevin Garcia asking for the order number, I emailed it back. Still! no refunded! I had to call back corporate for my refund, now it's pending again. This is the worst customer service experience for this company. It's been 3 weeks and this is not resolved. At this point, it's just a fraud to charge a person's account and not provide the requested order. Be careful this el pollo is not trustworthy for their business. read more

The chicken here is sooooo delicious! It's so tasty, well seasoned. I live more than 20miles away, but when I'm in the area, I will always stop here and pick-up an order or two to go.
