The beef was a little overcooked and it was a bit dry, but the soup was rich with flavor. It was a large bowl that took me a while to finish. The corn tortilla that came with the soup was store-bought, and the quantity of rice accompanying the soup was meager. I loved the huge pile of freshly diced onion and cilantro. We ordered at the counter and picked up our own food when it was ready. We also bussed our own trays afterward. The dining space inside was small, and the tables were tiny. Hard to scan off the drive through otherwise. This Alberto's is open the earliest which you late nighters won't be concerned with but if you're a morning shift person, 7am here vs 8am in most others. I give this spot 4.5 stars. It's relatively new in the same location as two previous burger spots Leo's and BonF (Burgers on Fire). Food was really flavorful, green (actually more light orange in color) and red salsas were tasty and the flour tortillas did not crack. We had the green wet burrito, a side of refried beans and rice and cheese quesadilla. All better than expected. Portions were generous. Fed 2 adults and 2 small kids for $22! My rating is based on what this spot is, quick good Mexican food from a small unassuming place at a decent price. Would definitely return. Better that other Albert's/Alberto's type places. The burrito had just the right mix of egg, potato, bacon, and cheese. Had a different taste from other breakfast burritos that I've had which made it taste better.
