First time here and will be back regularly. We tried the kibbeh, very very good. There is a large selection of food to order and tasted great. Good service as well. We had lamb kabobs, hummus, kibbeh, shwarma sandwich and kunafeh and everything was delicious. Prices also are reasonable especially for such good and fresh food. read more

Remember you are coming here to order a quick tasty bite and walk away.. customer service is always lacking in many staff members. The food is quite good for the pricing. They have a little seating area but located in the Baiz Market. I was disappointed that they forgot my order so I was on a time limit had to take my pies cold and heat them up at home. Went inside and made an order after a long tough day at work. Al sultan is inside Baiz market so I walked around and waited for my order. When I got the order I just figured I got my hot dog and hamburger. Super simple because I didn't want to wait a long time. But when I get home, I got a surprise. I t would have been nice to be told there was no more hot dog buns instead of a hotdog cut in half and inside a hamburger bun with ketchup and mustard. Wow the food was hot and delicious, I ordered the Iraqi kabob everything was very good my wife ordered the chicken swarma portions where very big on the plate for 14.99 great value. My wife always goes to the store for fresh produce a better bargain because you have to wash it. Time to explore the rest of store. read more

I have eaten in Baiz sometime ago and thought excellent choices. Today I could not have been more underwhelmed. I inquired on the price of stuffed grape leaves. I asked for a dozen and was given Humass? I told the person the order was wrong and for unknown reason he took my receipt. The person who had taken my order was struggling to count out the dozen. He eventually got 12 into a container which leaked into the bag. I requested he return my receipt without luck. He gave me the order chit and said it was the same as a receipt. I had had enough foolishness and did not say the chit doesn't show payment, date, the amount or credit card info. The stuffed grape leaves reminded me of what you get in a can. read more

I sat there forty five minutes and the girl had the food sitting behind her, but she was too busy talking to her friend and forty five minutes later, I walked up to her and I told her hey, where's my food and she hands me the cold food. I was 6 feet away from her. She claimed that she called my number, which she did not. I mean, even if she would have called my number, why didn't you call my number the second time. This is a great no-frills restaurant set inside Baiz Marketplace. The setup is similar to a food court in that you order at the counter, pick your food up and eat at one of the many tables set aside for seating. It's self serve so you can bus your own table. Aside from quickie inexpensive meals such as flatbreads and meat or veggie pies, they also have cold foods readily available such as hummus, baba ganoush and tabouli. All meats are halal and grass fed which provides for a high quality meal. As for drinks, there's no soda fountain but there's an open refrigerated case with various drinks. I liked all the variety in the menu. You can choose from several combo platters, sandwiches, and they even had a small section of American-style foods such as burgers and hot dogs. I had the veggie platter ($8.99) and took a few bites of the chicken shawarma plate ($8.99). Both the meat and falafel were made to order and it only took a few minutes for our meals to be ready. The veggie combo included grape leaves, tabouli, hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, pickled turnips, and came with a large pita. My favorites of the plate were the baba ganoush and the falafel. The slighty smoky baba ganoush had a light natural sweetness from the roasted eggplant and had a lovely balance of flavors. The falafel was so good! I think it's one of the best tasting falafel I've had yet. The filling was so fluffy and light and the spices were perfect. The interplay between soft filling and crunchy crispy crust was excellent. The other elements were more average. The hummus was decent, and while I think the grape leaves are made fresh they were served so cold that the rice had a bit of that refrigerated texture when they turn very hard and starchy. The chicken shawarma was a generous platter filled with a lot of chicken. I liked the taste of the chicken meat itself but it was a little different flavor-wise than other versions I've had in the past. It was very lightly grilled with light seasoning. The star of the show on this plate was actually the divine garlic sauce. I would come back just for that sauce! It was so ethereal and whipped to a cloudlike consistency with tangy garlic flavor. The cashier was friendly and prompt. Our total for two meals with two yogurt drinks was a little over $20. So if you're in the area or are shopping at Baiz and want a bite to eat, this is a good option! read more

I like to get a beef shawarma whenever i come to buy halal food. It's one of the best in town. The beef shawarma also cost cheap. I also tried chicken shawarma but i prefer beef shawarma. As for hot dog, it was okay. The beef and lamb burgers were good too. The best thing is that the sandwiches are cheap and delicious! read more

Ooooh lawd!!! I salivate over their swharma sandwich. Then while standing there you see can't help but let your eyes grow bigger than your stomach. Next thing you know you've ordered 2lbs of hummus, 2lbs of tabouli, a side of garlic sauce, and to finish it all off with a spicy kick... A pound of the shatta sauce. You step back and wait for your order to be called and stumble across an assortment of olives and feta cheeses in the deli behind you that could also line your gluttonous belly with yummy. Probably one of the most authentic Middle Eastern falafel wraps and my go to for more healthy fast foods ! I also love their garlic sauce and house hot sauce (not sriracha) that you can ask for with your meal. The hummus is probably one of the best I've had as well being, not overly stiff or watered down but has that creamy nutty consistency that you can drip everything in it including your fingers. The staff are really friendly as well, offering recommendations, cracking jokes, and just overall a gracious attitude. They gladly offer tastes before you try on their items you can see behind the glass at the order counter: hummus, tabbouleh salad, baba ganoush, labneh, etc. If you dine in (which I recommend) there is a designated area with tables and napkin containers (and salt and pepper). Just take a seat and enjoy the food and people watching ! For drinks, you can grab your Ayran (salty yogurt drink) or if you're not super adventurous there are bottles of water and soda right next to the order counter. AND THEN there is Dessert - baklava galore ...or if you want to have that first it would not be frowned upon. Right next to Al Hana, the Baklava baristas are ready to make recommendations on the 8+ varieties of baklava, phyllo dough layers shaped in different compact one-bite wonders all lined with pistachios, walnuts and almonds. We often come in to get take away inside Baiz Market. If you haven't tried the garlic sauce you are missing out on life. Get an entire lb to go with your food, you will thank me later. If I'm honest the 5* is for the garlic sauce, which I get weekly and eat with everything. I love running in here for a quick meal ( garlic sauce, hummus plate, fresh feta and olives). I am from out of town and stopped in because I wanted to get something fresh to eat as I drove through. This little gem of a restaurant is inside a grocery store, which is where I intended to go. The smell from the grills and ovens quickly took my attention. I ordered the skewered chicken platter. They make it fresh, so I had to wait a good 10 or so minutes. It was a very generous plate (couldn't finish it all). The chicken was tender and lightly seasoned, the rice was amazing, the hummus was great, there were veggies, pita, and pickles too. But my favorite was the garlic sauce! Oh dear, I should have bought some to go! I will definitely make this a permanent stop when I drive through again. I also loved the middle eastern music, the non-mainstream items sold at the supermarket, etc. I enjoyed some guava nectar made in Egypt.
