I need an oil change JA Auto Werks lead me here. Really glad they did. Very nice front desk and…read moremechanic. I was in and out and less than a half hour. I'll definitely go back grateful for their honest kind people.

Be sure to do your research before you take your car in for repairs here as only 30 miles after…read morechanging the fluid in my transmission it failed and they gave me no reason for the failure as the tec doing the work said the original fluid was clear no burnt smell or particles in it but they charged me $6629.00 for a rebuilt transmission and within a day it developed a vibration between 35 and 40 mph. I researched it with Jasper Transmissions who did the rebuild and also with the Tex's at Wall Ford and both said it was a common problem that could be rectified with a $14 fluid additive that takes about 10 minutes to install. I informed Bradley's of the vibration problem and of the conversations with Ford and Jasper and dropped my vehicle off believing they would just add the additive and Gary of Bradley's. Gary phoned me later saying he wanted me to take my truck to a specialist, which I was to pay for, claiming it was probably something in my differentials or transfer case. When I restated to Gary that it was a problem only between 35 and 40 mph and if it was to do with other parts of the drive system it would not appear and then disappear it would be constant. Gary was arrogant and argumentative I believe because I had taken the intuitive to research the problem and told he's as they had just charged my over $6000.00 for a transmission that Bradley's should resolve the issue. Gary said he would but he would charge me for it, I was taken aback by his arrogance and then he said "why don't you do it yourself" and "put that stuff in and let me know how you make out". Between my wife's car and my truck over a 2 months period we paid Bradley's over $10,000.00 in repairs, well because of Gary's ignorance, arrogance and narcissistic attitude they lost two good customers we will never go back there. warning even with the other good reviews do your investigation of your vehicle problem before giving Bradley's a chance to do your work. After confirming with both Ford and Jasper Transmissions I purchased the additive and installed it myself, problem fixed so Bradley's lost 2 customers for $14 and 10 minutes work seems a bit stupid to me and totally not in the interest of good customer relationship.

Took my wife's van in for 4 tires and alignment, was told less than 2 hrs. it took almost 3 hrs…read more the alignment machine had to be fixed while the van was on it. never got a print out of the before and after of the alignment. I have called corporate 6 times over the last 2 weeks with no one returning calls. the manager said there is no data to give me a printout of the alignment. so, my question is how do I know it was done. I would seriously, seriously would NOT under any circumstances go to ANY Pep boy's. if I could give negative amount of stars I would. PLEASE TAKE THIS ADVICE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am writing to formally complain about a serious and dangerous service failure at your location…read more(Eatontown, NJ) and to request a full refund for the brake work performed. I had my front and rear brakes replaced, along with new rotors, at your store, for which I paid approximately $1,200 (after coupons). I drove roughly 20 miles from the location toward my home. About one-third of the way into that drive, I heard a loud pop, followed by severe screeching when attempting to accelerate. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, I immediately pulled over and contacted the store to inform them that the vehicle would be returning. Despite my hesitation, given my financial investment, I had the car towed back to the location via AAA. Once the vehicle was inspected, your staff confirmed that the caliper bolt on the left front brake had come off and needed to be re-torqued. To be clear: this indicates that the brake assembly was not properly secured during installation. This is not a minor oversight. A failure of this nature could have resulted in catastrophic damage, serious injury, or death. As a direct result of this incident, I was without my vehicle for an additional day and was required to take extra time off work. After the incident, I completed the internal survey sent by your company. It took an extended period before I received any response, and when I finally did, it was not from store management but from a third-party representative. That individual abruptly ended the call while I was explaining my concerns. I have never received any follow-up or resolution from Pep Boys since. I am raising this issue again because I just had my first oil change since the repair (not at a Pep Boys). During that visit, the manager noted visible damage to my front left rotor and explained that this damage will cause accelerated brake wear and require more frequent (and costly) rotor replacements going forward. After hearing the circumstances of the Pep Boys repair, that manager explicitly advised me to seek a full refund or pursue legal action. Accordingly, I am requesting a full refund for the brake and rotor service performed. The service provided was not only substandard but dangerous. Pep Boys is fortunate that no one was injured as a result of this failure. I will not return to any Pep Boys location in the future. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and professionally.
