Kabob plates and. Al Zein appetizer

Stumbled upon Al Zein after dance practice (shoutout Planet U Bollywood dance next door!) and had some of the most excellent meals in the ATL area. Reasonably priced, extremely well seasoned, great variety. Simply delicious! The staff is also the kindest you will find in the city.

I'm so sad. Such great reviews. #1 - our daughter took a bite of the sandwich. She pulled a long hair out of her mouth. Gross. #2 - Fattoush salad. Okay. Very little lettuce. Flavor is actually better than the first bite. Dressing is what makes it, where's the mint and parsley though? I love this salad, but this one was just meh. For almost $12 - I expected way more. #3 - chicken Shwarma platter. Good. Not great. Got 1/4 piece of pita. At $22, trust me, I expect not only more pita, but better quality. The chicken is shaven and dry. The toum is good though. #4 - I ordered grape leaves (dolmades). - I ordered ahead online. I waited for about 15 minutes; and only 1 other group of people came in after me and ordered food, the gentleman tells me they are out. Really?! You must have known that when I walked in. Well, they didn't have it. So ... I ordered the falafel as a replacement. They are decent. Served with hummus and some veggies. Lukewarm. Overall, I had high hopes. We grew up in Detroit and Dearborn where there are many amazing Persian, Lebanese and Mediterranean restaurants. I'll have to stick to Noosh or Rumi's Kitchen. This one lacked luster. And, for a fairly expensive lunch (& the fact that we couldn't eat a $13 sandwich due to their poor hygiene and quality control in-house) we won't waste our time. I hope the owners see this and make changes for the future.

Mixed shawarma honestly hit the spot. one half was chicken and the other lamb. I couldn't pinpoint which one was better because both were flavorful and the best part is I don't have to because I can just order mixed again next time. Service was timely and friendly. I will say their baba ganoush was a different style than I used to and found it less of an eggplant flavor and more of other refreshing veggies. I personally prefer a stronger eggplant flavor but to each their own.

First of all, it's crazy authentic and like being transported to the Middle East, which is amazing to see in John's Creek. Every single woman was in hijab and the music carries you to Tehran. Prices are very fair. The inside is relaxed with a mix of tables and booths. You go up to the counter, order and pay, then wait for your number to be called. I got the mixed shawarma platter ($17) which comes with chicken and beef. I wanted to substitute my fries for hummus but that wasn't allowed. I think it'd be nice if they made that an option as most other places do. The portion size was very generous and the food is EXTREMELY fresh. Everything is out of this world delicious and hands down the best shawarma I've had since living in Georgia.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I met with a friend who speaks Arabic and has been there several times and knows what to order. It's a very small restaurant with limited tables. You get your drink from a cooler and order at the register and pay. A food runner brings the food to the table by the number displayed. This restaurant doesn't not have alcohol. The food was very good and I enjoyed myself.

Arabic Beef Shawarma (half eaten) with Garlic Sauce

We ordered delivery and are floored at how delicious everything is. We got the Arabian beef plates and the hummus -10/10 all around. And the wrap is grilled to seal, so crispy. We can't wait to visit in person!

Wow!! This shawarma gave me flashbacks to my childhood in the streets of Dubai!! My wife and I got the Arabic Chicken Shawarma. It comes with Chicken shawarma cut into pieces, perfect crispy fries, a good portion of creamy garlic sauce and a chili paste, and the most delicious cucumber pickles. This family owned business is soo clean and neat. The customer service was outstanding. The friendly woman at the counter explained the menu to us and answered all our questions. I definitely can't wait to come back! We couldn't even wait to get home to let all our family know about this new place that we found.

I met up with some friends for lunch at Al Zein. This is a nice halal Mediterranean spot with a variety of options on the menu and ample seating space. It's a family run business with friendly and efficient service. I ordered the fatoush salad and the grilled beef kabob platter. The portion sizes were very large and there was a lot of food! I also tried the kibbeh and I would highly recommend that. It was delicious, definitely my favorite thing. The free tea and coffee at the back was a nice surprise as well!

I first tried food from Al Zein at a catered event and was really impressed. I went to the restaurant for the first time today and placed a takeout order. The chicken, beef, and falafel shawarma were all excellent. I am not a red meat fan, but the beef shawarma tasted so good. My daughter had a chicken strip kids meal and the chicken was excellent as well. Everything was excellent in portion size and quality. We will definitely come back and refer our friends.

The bowl had greens, rice, japchae noodles, kimchi and an egg. Liberal dose of spicy sauce over everything. Tofu was crispy, noodles were savory. Kimchi had the sauce too which detracted from the traditional taste but still tasty. Was very impressed.

Someone brings you the food, but you put up your plates and stuff at the end of your meal. They also have a station for you to grab your own to-go containers and bags. The first thing to be aware of is to not let any of the photos fool you! The portions are very generous. Many people around me ended up taking to-go boxes (myself included). I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. I would come again and would recommend this place to other people.

10/10 Experience at Delbar Alpharetta…read more This was our second visit to Delbar Alpharetta, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. Our server, Sinem, was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and made our dining experience feel effortless from start to finish. She consistently ensured our water glasses were full, checked in at just the right times, and made fantastic recommendations for both cocktails and mocktails. Her warm personality and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated. Everything we ordered was exceptional. We enjoyed the Za'atar Fries, Hormuz Island cocktail, Sharbat-e Zereshk, Branzino, Sharbat-e Albaloo, Kashk Bademjoon, Wings, Muhammara, and the Condiment Flight. Every dish was beautifully presented, flavorful, and memorable. You can truly taste the care and quality that goes into the food. One thing that continues to impress me about Delbar is the level of teamwork throughout the restaurant. Management regularly visits tables to ensure guests are enjoying their experience, and I've noticed managers helping clear tables and support their staff whenever needed. That kind of leadership says a lot about the culture of a restaurant and shows a genuine commitment to both employees and guests. The restaurant itself is immaculate. The space is beautiful, open, upscale, and exceptionally clean. Every detail feels intentional, from the stunning bar area to the comfortable seating and overall atmosphere. What I love most about Delbar is its versatility. Whether you're stopping in for drinks and dessert, planning a date night, gathering with family, or celebrating a special occasion, it fits every occasion perfectly. The food is rich in flavor without feeling heavy, and you leave feeling satisfied, refreshed, and already looking forward to your next visit. Delbar Alpharetta earns a well-deserved 10 out of 10. We'll absolutely be back, and I'll continue recommending it to everyone I know.

Finally got the chance to try out Delbar!…read more We arrived early for our reservation, so we decided to sit at the bar while waiting. To hold us over, we ordered the hummus and Za'taar fries. The hummus came topped with fried chickpeas, which was such a nice addition-- I'd never had them prepared that way before, and the crunch added great texture. The fries had a nice cut and flavor, but they weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. I'd order the hummus again, though probably not the fries. Once we finished our appetizers, we were escorted to our table, which ended up being a pretty tight fit. We were seated at a two-person table between two larger groups of four, so it felt a bit cramped. Honestly, had we known the seating situation beforehand, we would've dined at the bar since it felt much more comfortable for dining and conversation. By that point, we were slightly full from the appetizers, so we decided to share just the Hanger Steak and the Polo Sefid. The steak smelled incredible and tasted just as good-- definitely a great choice! As for the rice, I may have gone in with high expectations after seeing so many pictures of it on social media, but for me, it was just decent. My boyfriend and I weren't huge fans of it since the grains kept getting stuck in our teeth. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server, Lance, was attentive and helpful with recommendations, refills, and checking in on us. I also loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. From walking through the doors and sitting down, everything was pretty. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Delbar!
