This cafe was recommended by an uber driver, as well as others, who have visited the local shopping center. Once you enter this small cafe, you will hear Ethipion pop music in the background, not too loud, and you may find older gentlemen sitting with their coffee drinks and talking in Amheric about politics or stories from back home. Once I entered this wonderful place, the guests were surprised and definitely stared as I came in. Lolol I am a big fan of Ethiopian coffee and the Ethiopian way to prepare coffee and espresso beverages. Their menus carry a list of typical espresso beverages, a list of baked goods, and a list of smoothie drink varieties. They are very well priced. I ordered a delicious and hearty Ethiopian special hot tea, which contained ample amounts of ginger, honey and orange. I am recovering from a cold and cough, and the drink helped to clear my throat and sinuses. It was higher priced compared with the other beverages (it's worth the price), and I ordered *for here* since they have many ceramic cups and glassware and they ultimately gave me a paper cup even though guests sitting at the small tables were drinking from ceramic cups and glassware. Also ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice, but they did not add ice. If you want a cold drink with ice, I guess you should tell them that you want ice in it when you order. Definitely a different experience drinking a fruit juice w/o ice. I liked their version of tiramisu. They add more coffee powder and cocoa powder in the cake and on top of it. Also, they make a Creamy and filling strawberry layered cake with a custard in the middle, called fruit cake. Light cake and dense custard the same time. Reminded me of a Mille feaux. For groups of three or more, I would recommend getting your order to go due to space limitations.

I LOVE QAMARIA! This…read morelocation and Yelp page is for the coffee truck in Falls Church btw - the Vienna location was opened after this and is a brick and mortar. I have visited that location as well, but this coffee truck is still operating, which is great since its closer to me than Vienna and is not crowded. It's located near Sky Lounge and the Red Bird with plenty of parking spots, and is easy to locate since it's on the empty side of the lot. I've tried the following items (inclusive of both locations): - Pistachio Latte: got this back in Ramadan from the truck when it was cold, so this was good - Iced Adeni: (from vienna location) this was okay, but I feel I'd stick to this hot bc the strong spiced flavors would be better - Rose tres leches: (from vienna location) wasn't a huge fan - quite frankly felt like I was eating pink cake with whipped cream and had rose petals on top (there was no rose flavor in anything). - Qamaria Latte: got this hot from the truck last night with caramel as my sweetener and this was a home run!! Absolutely loved this!! It was not overly sweet and the spices weren't overpowering. Likely will become my go-to! I typically order in my car when I want to pick up from here and just go up to the truck once I get the text my order is ready. Great for a pick up and go, especially if you're in the area or passing by. Def recommend!

I thought it would be a small coffee shop but it is much more. Ample seating inside with some outdoor seating, it is a fun atmosphere with a mini bookstore as you walk in and the main restaurant in the other half. There's a small stage for when they have different events. It is a positive and fun environment. I ordered the Turning Violet Latte. I am a big fan of lavender flavor and this latte hit the spot. For my food, I ordered the gluten free pancakes and bacon. You never know what you're going to get with gluten free pancakes and these were some of the good ones. They were fluffy with some fresh fruit sprinkled on top. The syrup was the perfect amount needed for these hot cakes. The bacon was crisp and a great add on. They have a robust menu so you can get a lot of great options here. The service was good and overall I had a great time.
