I told him i was looking at the butter chicken but love spicy. He recommended the Korma Dish and the Beef Kabobs for my boyfriend. Absolutely amazing. The flavors and freshness were awesome! it's BYOB and there is liquor store next door. They also have a patio and hookahs with all the flavors. Ordered through DoorDash and we are not pleased. Ordered a regular beef seekh kabab and turned out to be spicy and we love spicy... and this is spicy for us! Also the meat is not a good quality, lots of hard and fatty parts... encircled in the picture. Also the vegetables are old and soggy. I guess we've had better and this doesn't meet our standards. Great food, lovely owners. FInally found a quality Indian/Pakistani restaurant in our area. First off the place is very clean and nice, spacious. Asked what they recommended and he dutifully pointed me to the korma which was a fine suggestion. It was easily some of the best korma I've ever had, the chana masala (chickpeas) were also sublime. The rice pilaf was expertly cooked, and the nan was absolutely brilliant. I could easily go crazy here and spend a small fortune on a gourmet style spread of good cuisine and it would be a pleasure to gorge out tooo. They're not exactly inexpensive but the quality of the food is definitely commensurate with the price. I had no issues with paying $20 for my plate. I can tell they've definitely tailored the menu toward Caucasian tastes, blah blah tikka masala (boring), I'd love to see more authentic dishes like Nihari, Karahi Gosht, Pasanda, and Biriyani but I'm definitely going to bring my son who adores tikka masala, and I'll get myself some kebabs specifically a Seekh kebab and I'm sure I'll leave happy and full. My friend took me to the Aladdin Kebab House today for lunch. She had been telling me about how good their food was and she was absolutely correct! The service was very friendly, and we were greeted as soon as we came in. The food was amazing, so fresh and fulll of flavor. I could have just eaten the chickpeas and naan bread and been satisfied. I ordered the butter chicken and it was so creamy and full of flavor. I can't wait to return! The food is authentic and fresh, so it takes a little bit to get your food, but it was worth every minute! read more

Now this, this is what a classic hole in the wall South Asian restaurant can be. Family recipes, scratch made food, and a welcoming ambience. I'm not going to say it's a perfect experience, but considering where they're located and how much they're doing far, far away from the beaten path, all credit is due. The owner and a few older individuals run this place, and they were all very kind to us on the first time we were in. Despite being more casual, we got table service on a late weekday night, and were happily explained the menu and recommendations. These things don't go unnoticed. As for food, our favorite thing surprisingly was the Choley, or chickpea curry, which had the perfect home cooked flavor. Not too much heat with the most plump pops of flavor. Of course the naan are worth mentioning and whether by necessity or not, fresh naan is always a bonus, and always delicious. We also tried many of their kebabs over rice, and although we found them to be cooked well, flavor was a little underwhelming outside of essential seasoning. The owner recommended to us we ask for a more "traditional" spice level next time in. So all this way, and was it worth it? Definitely yes. Will I be back? At least once to try what the owner recommends, and exact as he'd recommend it. Plus supporting businesses like this serving their community first and foremost with something special is always great. My husband & I love stopping at the Aladdin Kebab House every time we are in the area. I love the gyros and the gyro platter. My husband is more adventurous & tries something new every time. The food never disappoints. The owner is always very attentive and usually visits with us for a bit while we're there. Stopped in after a day at nearby P-6 farms. It was Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. During our meal few other patrons came in. Service was polite and courteous. We ordered the hummus, the chickpea curry plate with samosa, the chicken tikka with bone, and the kheer for dessert. The appetizer hummus came with store bought pita, was flavorless, and left us concerned that the rest of the meal would also be. We were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the rest of our food. The chickpeas are warm and savory, the chicken cooked perfectly, juicy and evenly spiced, and the kheer (rice pudding) provided a decent closing although I usually prefer it a little bit sweeter. Also, the meal came with buttery tandoori naan. Although I would avoid the hummus, I will be adding Aladdin to our regular rotation for all the other gems. Aladdin adds some much needed variety to the neighborhood offerings and I hope they are able to continue to grow. read more

My wife and I had dinner here last night. We ordered a Beef Seekh Kebab and a Chicken Seekh Kabob. Each came with two kebab, so we shared. The meat (chicken and beef) were both very good, and nicely spiced. The cup of chick peas that came with each entree was outstanding. The bread, which also was very tasty and well prepared, was good on its own and also dipped in the delicious, spicy chick peas. That (the chick peas) was the highlight of the meal. The rice that came with the entree was meh. The vegetable samosa that we shared as an appetizer was fairly tasteless, was greasy and came with a sauce that was uninspired. Maybe the other samosas are better, but the vegetable samosa, to me, is a pass. We tried to decide whether they were home made or Sysco, but, either way, not good. One thing regarding the experience here. The gentleman (owner?) and wait staff were "fine" but we got no feeling of enthusiasm or interest in our dining experience while we were there. Several people happened to come from the back of the kitchen as we were leaving, made eye contact, but no one asked if we enjoyed our meal or acted if they really cared if we ever came back. Kind of a weird vibe for a new restaurant. To the point that I said to my wife that maybe this is a good DoorDash delivery meal - they obviously don't care that we're here but the entree was good. We stopped into the Aladdin Kebab House for lunch after reading about them in the local Community Impact periodical. They are located in an unassuming strip mall off of FM 1097 near Lake Conroe. While entering the establishment we were given a friendly greeting from the owner. He took some time and explained the ordering process and let us know that the entrees came with naan bread, rice and a chickpea curry. I ordered the beef seekh kabob and my wife ordered the chicken biryani. After being seated we both noticed that the dining area was kept immaculately clean. There was a bit of a wait for the food. It took around fifteen minutes before we were served the naan and the chickpea curry and probably an additional ten minutes before our entrees arrived. The food was definitely worth the wait! The naan bread was substantial in size, had good flavor and an excellent texture. It coupled nicely with the chickpea curry which was not particularly spicy but had a very nice flavor. The real winner of our meal was the beef seekh kabobs. They had the perfect balance of meat, fat, spices and were nicely paired with a serving of raita and rice. The chicken biryani, like the other dishes, was served in an ample portion. The rice was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful though it lacked some of the sophisticated tastes you might find in some biryanis. The chicken had excellent flavor but was a little dry for being bone in. This is a five star location for quality service, clean facilities and top-notch food. The only real critiques would be a larger menu with some goat options and a paper menu with brief descriptions of the dishes. I highly recommend that everyone try this restaurant. Our first time here and WOW, what a great experience! The owner, Mr. Imran, greeted us and took our order himself. It was my husband, my son and myself. The chickpeas that come with your meal are AMAZING. My husband isn't a chickpea person and he loved them. My husband got the spicy steak and really enjoyed it.
