Chicken Korma and Beef Sheekh Kebab
    Marlena H.

Just had dinner at Aladdin Kebab House! 5 Stars for service, hospitality, and food. The owner was so friendly. We told him it was our first time and that I was indecisive on what to get. I told him i was looking at the butter chicken but love spicy. He recommended the Korma Dish and the Beef Kabobs for my boyfriend. Absolutely amazing. The flavors and freshness were awesome! it's BYOB and there is liquor store next door. They also have a patio and hookahs with all the flavors. The combo dishes come with chickpeas in this awesome curry sauce, salad, rice, and fresh hot buttered Naan bread. Come support a locally owned business! We will be back.

So glad we made it out to this off the beaten path Indian restaurant. They have a concentrated but delicious menu with some great options. Make sure you try the off menu Butter Chicken combo. And get some of the hummus and naan. It's the way to go.

Great food, lovely owners. FInally found a quality Indian/Pakistani restaurant in our area. First off the place is very clean and nice, spacious. Asked what they recommended and he dutifully pointed me to the korma which was a fine suggestion. It was easily some of the best korma I've ever had, the chana masala (chickpeas) were also sublime. The rice pilaf was expertly cooked, and the nan was absolutely brilliant. I could easily go crazy here and spend a small fortune on a gourmet style spread of good cuisine and it would be a pleasure to gorge out tooo. They're not exactly inexpensive but the quality of the food is definitely commensurate with the price. I had no issues with paying $20 for my plate. I can tell they've definitely tailored the menu toward Caucasian tastes, blah blah tikka masala (boring), I'd love to see more authentic dishes like Nihari, Karahi Gosht, Pasanda, and Biriyani but I'm definitely going to bring my son who adores tikka masala, and I'll get myself some kebabs specifically a Seekh kebab and I'm sure I'll leave happy and full. This place is a real gem, go now!

Some of the best Indian food I've had! Staff is so friendly and everything I try is amazing.

First time back to Aladdin kebab in a long while and wow! Food was amazing. I love the changes they made and the people were so kind. Kids were obsessed with the chicken strips and the beef shawarma. I had the butter chicken and it was phenomenal. Everyone was eating off my plate. And the chickpea curry was yum! Will definitely be back.

Stopped in after a day at nearby P-6 farms. It was Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. During our meal few other patrons came in. Service was polite and courteous. We ordered the hummus, the chickpea curry plate with samosa, the chicken tikka with bone, and the kheer for dessert. The appetizer hummus came with store bought pita, was flavorless, and left us concerned that the rest of the meal would also be. We were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the rest of our food. The chickpeas are warm and savory, the chicken cooked perfectly, juicy and evenly spiced, and the kheer (rice pudding) provided a decent closing although I usually prefer it a little bit sweeter. Also, the meal came with buttery tandoori naan. Although I would avoid the hummus, I will be adding Aladdin to our regular rotation for all the other gems. Aladdin adds some much needed variety to the neighborhood offerings and I hope they are able to continue to grow.

I had an alternate plan initially, but timing didn't work out for me, so I perused my bookmarks as I took the parking shuttle to my car and settled on Curry Masala. I called them once I got to my car and was told my order would be ready in about 20 minutes, as my GPS read out that I was 20 minutes from the restaurant. Everything was coming up Milhouse. Because I am a basic B, I ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. It was ready about 3 minutes after I arrived, and off to home I headed. I enjoyed both, but thought the tikka masala was definitely the better of the two, and the wife agreed. We had a favorite Indian spot really close to here that has unfortunately closed down, so I have been on the hunt for a new one. Curry Masala did not quite match that level, but it's not a bad option when in the area.

If you don't like spicy or seasoned food, this place works for you and you don't need to continue this review. If you do care for those things and you try this place, you might agree that the flavor profile is catering to the demographic of the location that the restaurant is in and not the authenticity of the culture that it should represent. I know of another location, but this is not to take away business for one restaurant, but to help encourage this one to lean more into its authentic flavor. Even if that means moving locations because your demographic may not care for it. I had chicken Biryani (safe for an American) but the chicken was dry and with minimal flavor. The rice lacked flavor. The raita was ok, if you like everything blended together. The onions and lime/lemon you might usually have on the side was not offered with this. Fried cauliflower with chicken 65 seasoning, had a good spice level, but it was soggy.

I was dining in and took a menu to the table since it seemed so large, even though the gentleman behind the counter said just order here. I thought the menu was large, but It turns out I just grabbed a double menu, but their actual menu is very small and only 1 page. They have a basic selection of Indian and Pakistani dishes. I picked a lamb curry with a iced tea, chicken wings and garlic Naan. If you are getting a to go order, there is a menu board of select dishes by the register, but the prices are $3 more. Lamb curry - I chose this protein over goat since most times it does not have bones and I didn't wanna fight with bones during a lunch meeting but it had bones anyway. The curry was the most disappointing part because it was really just an oily broth. I've never seen a curry this oily before. The lamb pieces were pretty small and not a lot of them in the large bowl. 1/5 Naan - this was your typical garlic naan 3/5 Chicken wings - just 1 flavor and they are heavily breaded and were not that good 2/5 Service was really good though, so I will round up for Yelp purposes.

Most of the customers during my visit were Indian, so that was a good sign. The name of the restaurant sounded a little familiar but it turns out they have over 20 locations in 4 different regions of the world. Their 1st US restaurant was in Houston and their 1st franchise restaurant was this location in The Woodlands. With so many choices on the menu, some items I've never even heard of, I took a chance on a new curry I had never eaten which the server said was spicier than the vindaloo. I chose the andhra curry with goat and a garlic naan. The dish was around $18, plus with the naan and it wasn't exactly a bargain priced meal for one. The curry was possibly a tad bit spicier than my usual vindaloo at other Indian restaurants and it had a very nice flavor. My biggest complaint was that the dish was smaller than I expected. I was able to eat all the curry and most of the naan, which I'm usually never able to do at most Indian restaurants. Service was very friendly though, so I will be back to try other dishes soon.

Also got the butter masala with chicken aka butter chicken. Comes with white rice. I liked it more than the briyani. Also got the garlic naan. Loved that one.
