Love love love Aladdin's! I go here semi often and get a veggie plate (love the turnips), hummus, falafel, lentil soup, mint tea with honey, genie combo! Everything is so tender and flavorful. A little heavy on pricing for my liking but definitely go about once a month and make my order last at least two meals. I love the Highland Square location!! Outside & indoor dining!! Small cozy!! I love just about everything on their menu!! I tend to order the beef over chicken just seems to be more flavorful!! While I was in Akron on a business trip. Looked up a Middle Eastern Restaurant to try. I visited this eatery and ordered a few things to try (baba ghanouj, tabouleh, fatoush salad, and a chicken tawook sandwich). I am used to Lebanese food, you will not be disappointed. The food was great. Even though it was a take out, the service was excellent. Great ambiance. I will definitely come back next time I am in the area. Highly Recommended. Cheers. read more

I figured I was due for a visit to Highland Square. It came recommended by a local. While I originally intended to eat at Mustard Seed Market, they turned out to be closed. Having been to the Fairlawn Aladdin's before, I figured I couldn't go wrong here. I ordered the chicken sambusek specialty plate. It turned out to be smaller than expected so I ordered the small baba gaannouj. Don't be fooled though, the small is plenty big. Flavors were great for everything. I also ordered an Almaza Lebanese beer. It was smooth and light. Unfortunately, the pita that came with the baba gannouj was the thinnest, saddest, floppiest excuse for pita I've ever had. It was chewy and an edible, so I had nothing to truly eat and enjoy the baba gannouj with. When I brought this to the server's attention, there was never even an offer to have it removed from my bill or replaced with something else. A strong recommendation is that they grill their pita that is served with "dips" like hummus or baba gannouj. It was grilled crispy with the sambusek so I didn't understand why it wouldn't be the same for the baba gannouj. Customer service also seems to be lacking here in how to handle customer complaints. Rather than this location, I recommend heading to the one in Fairlawn. read more

I love Aladdin's and you can find that different locations have slightly difference personalities and even the food differs a bit. This location in Highland square totally delivered. The service was fantastic, really loved our waitress. They had a nice wine selection and the food was fabulous is usual. I love the cauliflower appetiser. I could buy it in bulk and live on it. Lol. We needed someplace healthy and easy after a drive from chicago and this place HIT THE SPOT: beautiful outdoor seating with excellent tea and beer. To eat we had salad, rice, hummus, and lemon cake. Ordered food to be picked up for myself and two coworkers. Was told it would be ready by 1:07 PM on the order online. Waited in the store for almost 40 minutes. I received my food at 1:41 PM. I like Aladdin's food. However, I do not recommend doing a pick up for food if you are doing it for work lunch as the wait can be extremely long. read more

We ordered food through Door Dash and it was incredible! I ordered the Flavor Savor Plate Which had a little bit of everything and all items were so fresh and delicious. Oh my. I love Aladdin's. The cauliflower appetizer is simply wonderful. (Get the hot sauce on the side. Give it a little shake before drizzling it over. It's terrific!) The salads are excellent (and huge) and the wraps are all tasty as well. Chicken schwarma is perfect, and the garlic sauce divine. Great hummus, and love the creative little pita "pizzas." (Best enjoyed as a dine-in experience because with takeout, the toppings make the whole thing soggy. Still delicious but it doesn't allow for the crispy "crust" element.) read more

The food is good and the environment is pretty nice- except the restroom. Everything tasted fresh and I liked the wide variety that was offered on the menu. For a chain, I must admit the hummus is still pretty darn good. I just can't get over how weird it is that people need to walk through the kitchen/beverage area to get to the restrooms. It's honestly a little off putting. I'd come back here again because the food is great and service was decent, I would go here if I had no other options. Good food but twice I had the lamb roll with burnt lamb at the downtown location. Not good.
