This is one of my can't-miss spots for Middle Eastern food, which is probably my favorite type of food. I'm a vegetarian and there are just infinite options for me here. The vegetarian sampler platter is often my go-to, as an appetizer for sharing with someone or as an entrée for myself. Today I had it as an entrée while my friend had Sally's bowl, which also looked delicious. I very much enjoy the pomegranate green iced tea here and our server was happy to keep providing refills while my friend and I caught up over 2+ hours after not seeing each other for over a year, and never complained about needing to turn over the table. Granted, we were early in the day, starting at 11:30 and continuing through lunch hour, and there were always a couple of tables open, but it did get relatively busy during the lunch hour. This is located in a strip mall and has maybe a little less ambience than my usual location closest to home in Mount Lebanon; the thing I appreciate about that location is that it has outdoor tables set up during beautiful weather like today. Here, they don't seem to have that option on the strip mall outdoors so you are going to be eating inside or taking out. In any case, the food remains consistent and fabulous and the service is always great at every location I've tried. We didn't get dessert today as we were both very full and I was headed next to celebrate Easter with my family, but you can't miss with the absolutely decadent desserts here if you choose to get one. read more

We have been coming to Aladddins for years and it never disappoints. You always get quality food with fresh ingredients every single time. You are also always treated with kindness and get excellent service. Alison D was so sweet and attentive. We went yesterday and I was happy to see so many new menu items. They all looked great and I had to try them. Their new pesto hummus was unbelievable. Best hummus ever! So creamy and delicious and even more flavorful with the pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts. The Chicken Pesto Pitza was so flavorful and delicious. Loved it! I always got the arayiss pitza but this is my new favorite. I want to try the Greek pitza sometime. It sounded really good. My husband always gets the super savor because it has a lot of different items and they're all delicious. We're obsessed with their cakes and actually come (although I am a little ashamed to admit it) regularly for them. The double fudge cake is my jam. It's so unbelievably moist and the fudge is out of this world. The carrot cake is always a favorite too. I'm also obsessed with their chocolate peanut butter brownies. My favorite combo. What an explosion of flavor and spice! This place accommodated my party of 10 with no issues and were very friendly and helpful. The server had clearly been doing her job a long time and was great. We loved everything, but the star ended up being the cauliflower appetizer. I liked the lamb the most, sometimes lamb is gamey but this lamb was perfectly spices and cooked. The falafel was amazingly fried on the outside and warm on the inside. And can't miss out on the rice! The kibbe was great. I was most excited about the chicken pesto pitza and it did not disappoint! This was my second time going to Aladdin's. And after leaving, I don't know why there was such a long time between visits. As you enter, you will see a glass container with some great looking desserts. The seating area is well lit. And the wait staff are very pleasant. We started with their hummus. Probably some of the best hummus I ever had. If you go there for the hummus alone, it's worth the trip. After that we each had a Pita Pitzas. Both were very good. I have been a longtime customer of Aladdin's Eatery. Their hummus and hot sauce are divine. As much as I love this restaurant, it pains me to write this review. Today, I ordered a Shish-kebob salad to go. About four bites into my meal, I noticed a spider climbing on the lettuce. The photo is of the spider and an olive (for scale). I called the restaurant to let them know what I found and was offered a replacement or a credit. I opted for the replacement. When I went to pick up my salad, I spoke with the manager about the situation. She informed me that other locations have had issues with spiders larger than this one arriving in their organic, hydroponic lettuce shipments, and this was the first time they had seen it in their location. Should I be grateful that I didn't get a bigger spider in my salad? I understand and appreciate Aladdins' commitment to serving healthy food. Perhaps management should take a closer look at food safety and develop a plan to prevent this from happening to another customer. Fellow salad lovers, beware. read more

Its menu includes appetizers such as tabouli, dawali, and salads and entrees such as pita pitzas, rolled pitas, and specialties. Prices range from roughly $8-18 per item of food. My husband and I ate lunch here on a weekend. When we were approaching the front entrance, an employee courteously greeted us and held the door open for us. Inside, another employee soon greeted us and walked us to a table. Our waitress was very friendly, and after a wait of several minutes to take our order, she very promptly brought out our beverages (including refills later), appetizers, entrees, desserts, and even clean utensils for our desserts. Here are my reviews for the foods and beverages: Fruit smoothie - 5 stars - This smoothie was a large size and tasted delicious with its blended cantaloupe, honeydew, grape, pineapple, banana, strawberry, orange juice, and honey. Hummus with pita bread - 4.5 stars - The "regular" size of hummus was large enough for probably four people, so we had leftovers to take home. The hummus tasted very good with its puréed chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil. The pita bread was very thin but had a nice flavor. Farrouk's falafel pitza - 4 stars - This pita pizza had a crust of thin pita bread and toppings of tahini lemon dressing, falafel, banana peppers, tomatoes, and parsley. I liked the flavors, but I think that I might order a different entree if I return in the future. Mediterranean lamb plate - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree of lamb and rice. The lamb was cooked so it had a slight charcoal flavor and a juicy center. On the side was brown rice with vermicelli, pine nuts, almonds, and garlic sauce. My husband is not accustomed to eating rice that contains nuts, but the rice tasted very good. The garlic sauce had a very strong flavor of garlic but was also good. Baklava - 5 stars - This baklava seemed to contain slightly different ingredients than other restaurant's baklava, but I really enjoyed the taste. Carrot cake - 4 stars - This carrot cake was a large slice. The cake was moist and had a lovely flavor of carrots and lots of spices. The waitress had said that the icing was cream cheese, but my husband and I thought that it tasted like sugar icing. read more

I am absolutely not a fan. I try one of their pizzas that they put on like pita bread gross. I also tried the lamb over rice the lamb was decent the rice. I didn't even understand it. I love Aladdin's and this location specifically. Always always always have great service here and if you're craving Lebanese food, this is the place to go. They are consistent and there is always something new to try. This visit we learned that they now offer beer and wine. We didn't try any but it was nice to know they offer it now. If you are an Aladdin's regular, you might also notice they changed their menu. They added this great little section about eating healthy and the benefits of a Mediterranean diet. We typically get the rolled pitas or pita pizzas. I personally love the curry chicken rolled pita. It has a little bit of a kick but I still love it with their special hot sauce. We always get the spicy cauliflower as an appetizer. The lemon tahini sauce on it is to die for! I have tried many different things on their menu and never been disappointed. Went to Aladdin's Eatery for the first time last night and it was a great experience! The restaurant is a nice warm atmosphere with Christmas music playing in the background. The service was fantastic, our waitress was attentive, nice, professional, and knowledgeable about the food. The menu is extensive with many vegan and vegetarian options, they do a great job indicating which meals are vegan and vegetarian- they also inform you of the meals that contains nuts. But don't worry, they also have meals that have meat. So more than enough to satisfy all the meal preferences. We started off with the Vegetarian Combo appetizer and wow! We absolutely loved it - amazing flavor, generous portions, and overall a delicious combo of food and dips. I ordered the Sultan's Shawarma Pitza - delicious combo of beef shawarma, onions, cucumber, tomatoes, and flakes of basil all on a baked pita. I also ordered a side of garlic sauce and it was an amazing add. For my garlic lovers - order the garlic sauce! My wife ordered the falafel salad and that salad was huge! Four pieces of falafel, mixed greens, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, dressing and feta cheese. We both ordered the pomegranate green tea (unsweetened) and that was a great compliment to our food. We ended the dinner with a delicious Vegan, Gluten Free Chocolate Cheesecake. These were generous portions of food, that we had to take three take home containers! Also to note, the falafels are big! The staff is always friendly when we come in and I appreciate that they check our order before we head out the door. The restaurant itself is focused on dining and feeling like you're dining at a local Lebanese restaurant with music playing. Recently we picked up a few favorites: hummus, the appetizer platter, Aladdin's salad, and a chicken shawarma wrap. A safe place for vegans to eat. My go to is the babba ghannoush (very garlic heavy, but very good) and the hummus tabouli wrapped. I was not a fan of the falafel (found it dry). I believe anyone trying to clean up their diet and or focus on eating real food full of whole food ingredients should try eating here regularly. It will make the "diet" feel easy and delicious! We had ordered from Aladdin's for delivery on multiple occasions so were excited to try it out in-person for the first time. It did not disappoint. Clean restaurant, definitely nicer than we were anticipating given its location in the strip mall. For an appetizer, we got the Baba Gannouj- it was fresh and fantastic. My wife got the chicken shawarma wrap, which she really enjoyed - the servings were huge! I got the Chicken Pitza, which I would recommend. We are Aladdin's fans, for sure. We eat here several times a year and usually order the same things all the time because they are so good. I love their lamb shish kabob salad, their falafels, their baba ganouj, and their hummus. Their desserts are fabulous if you still have room. They offer nice selections of herbal teas and recently added wine and beer. I tried their grilled tuna steak grilled pita roll and it was so amazing! I got it with the pickles and turnips which gave it a super nice kick. We ordered one other their sampler platters and nearly ate the entire thing. The grape leaves and falafels were incredibly delicious. As always, the wait staff was terrific. They are always so good about refills and making sure we have everything we need. This review is for a takeout order delivered via GrubHub. Someone else picked up our takeout order, so while it took an extra hour or so to get our food, the good people of this establishment not only remade the order, they threw in some dessert on the house as well. We got the falafel wrap and baba falafel wrap, and they were both very good. I recommend the garlic sauce for the wraps. read more

We stopped by here for dinner about a year ago. We said we would come back often and we just haven't until now. The last few times we ordered to go and brought it to a brewery. That has worked out perfect for us. When we ate here the service was great and we had a good time. When we ordered out we just ordered from the Yelp app. It was easy and our food was ready in less than 20 minutes. Each time they we have ordered here we both ordered the Hummus Falafel Rolled. It's excellent. It was great at the restaurant and perfect to go to a brewery or a picnic. The hummus is excellent on it and the slice of pickle seals the deal. It's filling too so it's good enough where we don't need to add anything extra but if we could we would. Today I had dinner by myself at the North Hills McKnight Rd. site of Aladdin's Eatery. I had enjoyed a previous visit, as a celebration, with members of my church's musical staff. On that occasion the food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Also, I had dined several times at another Aladdin's, in Oberlin OH - also a good experience, with well-prepared food. Today was different - Yiikes! I ordered a decent Lebanese red wine, baba gannouj as an appetizer, with the entrée of the kibbie platter (including a salad and yogurt). I received the wine right away - which was a good start. I had expected that the baba gannouj would be served next, by itself. This I could slowly savor with pita bread, accompanied with several sips of the wine. Then I expected, within a reasonable number of minutes (10 or so), the kibbie plate would show up. Oops - this was not to be! Within a very short time everything else appeared. (Actually, the yogurt part of the Kibbie plate never showed). This is not how a multi-course meal should be presented (even Eat'n Park knows not to do this)! When my server showed up again, I calmly and firmly noted that everything seemed unduly rushed. Then I instructed her to please serve me coffee, but only after I finished the meal. Oops, again! The coffee arrived 2 minutes later! So there I was with all my food, wine and coffee crowding my table space. I felt rushed, with hardly enough time to enjoy the food, the wine, much less the coffee which got cold before the meals end. Furthermore, this was not particularly good for Aladdin's restaurant bottom line either - I probably would have ordered another wine if I had time to leisurely enjoy the meal. There was one final indignity. When I got home, after paying the bill (with a tip exceeding 20%), I carefully inspected the bill and realized that an extraordinary interesting mistake was made. Instead of charging me for the wine, I was charged for "hot sauce" (75 cents). Aladdin's had short-changed itself, and it was not of my doing! Bottom line, I was very disappointed about this dining experience, which was way too hurried and careless, making it difficult to properly enjoy the otherwise fine meal. Surprisingly - I will probably return again, since I really like Middle Eastern food. However, I will be very emphatic about enforcing the pace of serving and closely inspect the details of the bill before taking out my credit card. I am not afraid to speak up, and will do so when necessary. read more
