This is somewhere I've been meaning to review for a long time! Coming here feels like you are visiting family! They are so kind and loving! Jo is truly one of the kindest human beings I've ever met in my life and he is so genuine everything he says is honest and kind. It also smells amazing in here! Now the meat... Wow! It's the most high quality and best priced meats of any place you could ever go to. A5 Japanese Wagyu is only just one of the many high quality items they have here. Even their marinated meats are out of this word delicious and super fresh with the best quality. I can't recommend here enough and everyone I know I tell them to come here. I can't wait for my next time here The pictures I'm posting are from 2 different times I came and both times were out of this world (I tried Australian wagyu and Japanese wagyu from them and both were incredible )

Came here to get some Wagyu Rib Eyes with my brother and mom. They had a good selection of meat and offered a selection of grocery items too, but we were just here for the meat. We were in and out of there in about 10 minutes and my brother was excited to get these meats grilled. The meat was pretty good and my brother and I thoroughly enjoyed eating the meat. Glad we got to try them out!

The specialty meats are good. I just didn't appreciate being sold old lule kabob. I got different meats, they were all great. But the lule he didn't have it on display but got it from the back and i didn't check until i got home. Its so embarrassing to sell old lule from left overs, it would have been more respectful if you said "we dont have it" rather than pack me garbage

Prime grade ribeye from Alameda Market

The Joe brothers were very welcoming the moment I walked in the door. I knew I wanted a USDA Prime grade ribeye. They cut exactly what I needed. I didn't know what to get for my kid, so they made a recommendation. When I cooked the steaks, the result was better than anything I've ever had at a steakhouse. We did a reverse sear on the 2lbs ribeyes. Thanks to the keen eye and recommendations of the Joes, we had an amazing steak dinner party.

Meat so good you can smell the picture.

Love coming here. Quality is always on point. Workers are always nice and social. Definitely get the prime rib.

Do you carry grass-fed, grass-FINISHED meat? Important that it's grass-finished, because "grain-finished" not great for carnivore diet. Thanks!

Yes our prime Rib eye, prime skirt, prime flap meat and our chuck are all grass finished. We also have our house favorite marinated ready to cook products that is an experience to try them. Thanks

Do you guys carry any angus or Waygu beef?

Yes, all our beef is either usda prime or wagyu (Australian and Japanese). 100% grass-fed

Can you debone chicken thighs and leave the skin on?

Sorry we only get boneless thighs.

Do you guys cook the meat if i order the meat?

No... unfortunately we don't have the facility to cook. It's just straight butcher shop with a lot of high quality meat with delicious marination.

6* Food 6* Quality…read moreQuality and quantity stand out here! I initially ordered a chicken lule kabob for my assistant. While waiting, I could see through the transparent glass window as generous portions of high quality meat were being grilled over Royal Oak charcoal. The aroma alone was irresistible and I ended up ordering beef lule and marinated ribeye as well. My family and I were blown away by the flavor and quality of both. The portions are generous, and the flavors from the marinades and spices are rich and completely satisfying. The kabobs are juicy and can be served on rice or in wraps. Personally, I appreciated the option to purchase just the skewers to take home, since we prefer enjoying them hot over fresh rice with melted butter. The menu offers a wide variety of kabobs, including chicken, beef, pork, quail, and cornish hen. The market and restaurant are exceptionally clean; very impressive!! That said, I would recommend ordring to go, as seating is limited and the atmosphere is minimal. While waiting, I noticed many customers doing the same and also purchasing meats to take home and grill on their own. Theres also a small market section offering drinks, breads, homemade Armenian specialties, and condiments. Parking is convenent, and the location is on the corner of Western and Glenoaks (easy to access from both streets). Bravo to the owners for creating such a high quality restaurant and market. I hope it continues to maintain this standard! We are a fan and I can't imagine getting my kabobs anywhere else in LA.

OMG, *drool* We ended up ordering the lamb chops and beef tri trip a la carte, grilled to order. Sooo flavorful and cooked to perfection! I wouldn't say it's cheap, but the value is decent. Decent amount of meat for the piece. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely have to come by again.

However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

Upon entering the establishment, the ambience of the place embraces you as a guest. Small, but nicely decorates and with good music playing. It's a very comfortable environment for enjoying this stellar barbecue and sides. Smaller menu, but it's really all you need, especially when you do the one thing you do really well. Mashed potatoes are authentic handmade mashed potatoes with the taste of home. BBQ was perfect and tender and TASTY. Reminder 1: this is quality food, not fast food, so be prepared to wait a little bit, especially if you have a larger order. Reminder 2: BBQ it's not a cheap food to make, so you will not find any dollar menus here, but if you compare to Manny, the other barbecue restaurants in their location, you will find this is an extremely good value.

Ribs Plate Combo with mac and cheese and cornbread for my sides. The ribs were almost falling off the bone but still with a bit of chew on it, which I appreciated because I don't like mushy meat. The sauce was tangy and sticky and not too vinegary. Good stuff, but couldn't finish so it came home with me. The big surprise was the cornbread. Most BBQ places concentrate on the meat and leave the sides as afterthoughts so that means cornbreads tend to be disappointingly dry. Not this one. This cornbread was moist and flavorful. The mac and cheese was just okay. Should have gone with the beans. My dining companion and I also got to sample some sliders and they were pretty damn good. Wish those had been on the menu. Service was good although, most people were taking their food to go. The atmosphere inside was warm for a cool day and almost too warm as my companion had to shed her jacket before we started eating so she wouldn't overheat. Not sure I'd be able eat inside on a hot summer day. They do cater and parking is street and a miniscule parking in the back. I believe it's only credit/debit only, but check first. Pricing is reasonable, but remember, it is beef you're paying for so definitely a splurge day. Happy eating!!!
