Avocado toast with eggs over easy
    Debra S.

Yes it's a hotel restaurant. I'm giving 5 stars because they made my avocado toast perfectly. The eggs were cooked exactly as I requested. The coffee was delicious and the service was what you'd expect from the Hyatt. I was seated right away, brought water and a menu. They took my order and the food arrived in the right amount of time. They were attentive without being intrusive. It's a quiet place to have a nice breakfast.

Very very good food for a breakfast food in pao alto good portions aswell, the service was good aswell the staff was nice and fast, they also let us in 2 minutes before the kitchen closed. The ambience was okay nothing special though.

Stayed at the Hyatt for a work trip and got takeout after my flight. The steak was decent and cooked med. rare as requested. It was a little bit too salty for my taste but not overly offensive. The meal came with broccolini and potato's as well. The truffle fries were on the happy hour menu and were an enormous portion for the price. They weren't great but not bad either. I did not come close to finishing, good value for the money esp during happy hour. The salad was a little overdressed and soggy. I enjoyed the beets. All in all not bad for a hotel restaurant but I likely wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

What a cool find for Happy Hour! This is a short 5 min walk from the San Antonio CalTrain. Also located near a huge parking structure if you're driving in. Especially want to point out the service of Jimmie. We sat outside and he came to check on us so often, we felt so cared for! Made it super easy to order multiple rounds. Nice heat lamps outside and cozy padded seating. The drinks are just $10 at happy hour which I can't complain about! What stood out the most to me was the starters. The truffle fries were not only delicious but such a massive portion for just $10. The samosas were also super delicious (love fried food when drinking) and again only $10 for a portion of 5. A great deal! I was super surprised by this spot and definitely will head back for another happy hour.

Friday, May 26th, 2023 - Bulleit Bourbon Rye Manhattan ($15)

Date: Friday, May 26th, 2023 Time: around 6:15pm Party of: 6-7 I believe What: Happy Hour / Before Dinner Drinks *Moffett Mule ($15) *Whiskey & Ginger Smash ($14) *Gilroy Garlic Fries ($9) *Cabernet Canyon ($10 happy hour) x2 *Bulleit Bourbon Rye Manhattan ($15) *Smoked Maple Old Fashioned ($16) x2 My group was meeting up for dinner but wanted to grab some drinks beforehand. A few in our party showed up first and grabbed a table outside on the patio. I joined with another friend a little later. One of my gfs is a wine drinker, so she grabbed a few HH cabs. I believe they were canyon road. Not a bad deal. I got a Manhattan. If memory serves, it was fine. Nicely balanced and not too sweet since I requested rye. I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but it was hard flagging down a server. They didn't really check up on us, so we had to keep following up on orders and such. And even the bill. We had a dinner rez, so we were trying to close. I believe I went inside to get the cc processed. I like sitting outside and enjoying a drink or two. But if you're coming here, make sure you're not in a hurry. It may take a while. REVIEW #3534

fairchilds burger add bacon, ordered medium rare and delivered medium rare

friendly staff, every single employee. Julia has been our favorite bartender and staff member who has been our friend for the past 1-2 years. sadly, she will be having a change of careers so we won't see her often much longer. sad to see her go. seasonal menu that rotates to keep the menu fresh. the BEST BURGER in the area or within a 10-20 mile radius. always perfectly seasoned which is a huge thing for me. if you want a bit more salt and flavor, add bacon to give it that little extra something. you know this is fresh beef and always seasoned and cooked perfectly. fries are good chicken cordon bleu bites are good Korean inspired wings, good. spicy, sweet, but not too sweet which is a huge pet peeve. calamari, good meatless bolognese, good corn ravioli, too sweet and will leave you wanting something more seasonal salads are always nice and fresh poke tuna with chips, good and changes seasonally

Quick Summary Pretty solid brunch option, especially if you're a globalist with the free breakfast. Solid food, large portions, cool interior and patio seating options. Food- 5 stars It's a typical hotel restaurant which is slightly better than chain brunch spots. I very much enjoyed the free breakfast options here with their menu. Really can't go wrong with the standard options: eggs Benedict, omelettes, french toast, waffle. Tasted great and large portions Service I would say they are slightly understaffed here as we did have to flag our waiter down towards the middle/end of our meal. Otherwise, the service was pretty solid Bottom Line Good ambiance, good food and portions, and pretty good service. A good and reliable option if you're staying at the Hyatt Centric

    Vivi B.

I really like this resyaurant for several reasons. It is inside the Hyatt Centric on the 1st floor. It has a large open area around the bar. The staff are so friendly and were working very hard to fill so many orders. I had the J. Lohr "Los Osos" merlot and it was delicious. We had a large party for dinner in the back room. The Autumn Cali Caesar salad was delicious and hearty with kale, butternut squash, roasted cauliflower, and toasted almonds. I swapped the dressing for the agave blood orange vinaigrette. They were able to do separate checks which is such a great perk given that most places do not allow separate checks. Parking is easy as there is a huge, free, public lot. Tip: Happy hour is from 5-6 pm.

    Onion rings and chicken quesadilla
    Spencer S.

Inside of the Hyatt Centric. Indoor and outdoor seating. Sitdown, full service restaurant. Bar, couch, booth, and regular table options from what I saw. Upscale casual. Fast and friendly service. My only issue was it was completely dead on a Friday night - we were the only table taken in the entire back room at 7:30-8pm. Maybe it was just a weird day, or maybe we were just late. Either way, barely any of the rest of the restaurant had customers throughout our entire experience. Again, it was a Friday night - weird! For apps, we went with onion rings and chicken quesadilla. For entree, I went with ahi sandwich and garlic fries. Drink was whiskey ginger smash. Large servings! I enjoyed everything, but nothing knocked my socks off. Relatively expensive in my opinion, but it did have a nicer atmosphere and I'm sure higher quality ingredients than most full service, sitdown restaurants.

    HH wings
    James H.

Came for the happy hour and it was solid. The truffle fries were fried well and were nice and crisp. Really like the dipping sauce. The wings were only 4 to a order but were tasty. Good place to chill before or after a movie around the corner Prices are decent Indoor seating available 2 TVs Service was quick and nice

As a speakeasy enthusiast myself I definitely agree to the fact that it is "hidden" but also it does kinda give corporate vibes a little bit - maybe we can say they "gentrified" the speakeasy experience which is honestly so funny for Palo Alto. But anyways I don't think a classification should stop you from visiting it. The food is actually surprisingly really good. We came with a pescatarian and honestly while the offerings for snacks were a bit slim, every option was really good. I feel like this was the first time where I understood the price even the the quantity is no where close to be desired. One shrimp is like $6 and I was like whoah. Service is definitely more laid back and it's overall just like a more chill atmosphere. I'm fortunate to work nearby so I'll definitely visit this place a few times after work to blow off some steam... And the drinks! Yes they are good! They are also quite strong! I would come here on game day for sure, as it is we were here to watch one of the World cup matches. This place is hopping We started with the giant Pretzel So soft and perfectly salted. The German Spicy Mustard was perfect as well as a sweet tomato Chutney. I had the Ribs and Mac & Cheese. The Mac a Cheese had a mild spicy flavor that you don't expect in a Mac & Cheese. Just made you want more. The ribs were dripping in sauce. Some people don't care for saucy ribs but the sauce was so good I was glad to need to lick my fingers. It was a perfect blend of Spicy and sweet. Best I've ever had bar none. Hubby had the Truffle Gnocchi. Thought it was really good. The cream sauce was surprisingly light not gut bomb heavy. The Gnocchi was light with perfect texture. Overall great dish. The one failure to the dinner was the Fish n Chips. The fish was extremely fishy in flavor which is not what Fish n Chips is supposed to be. My brother-in-law was the one eating it he stated the fish wasn't fresh must have been frozen. When it comes to any business that sells and/or serves alcohol, nothing, and I mean NOTHING,…read morecompares to a British and/or Irish pub. St Stephen's Green is an Irish pub that is a Mountain View mainstay and institution. It's been here for a long time, and it's a great place to drink a pint, munch on some food and shoot the breeze with friends. We decided to haul ass down here for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup match. Presently, for World Cup reservations, they have to be made at least 12 hours in advance and are $50/person (which you can redeem for drinks and food on the day of your reservation). We got here fairly early and sat in some free seats near the front entrance. Before long, the place was a zoo, but it didn't matter. The atmosphere and camaraderie were still electric. Despite the atrocity of a loss by team USA, great fun was still had. Their menu, I should note, is extensive with a number of both Irish and non-Irish food and drinks. On my visit, I started with a simple club soda which progressed to a glass of Guinness beer and some Guinness beer cheese pretzels which I split with my friends. The pretzels and the accompanying sauce were delicious. The club soda and Guinness were as good as can be had anywhere. Prices, admittedly, are not the cheapest here though. For two club sodas, two Guinness beers, and one order of the beer cheese pretzels, the total bill (without tip) came to approx. $47-48. Service was good but could have been a little bit more organized. When I was closing my tab, my server ran off just as I began to sign my receipt, and I was unable to get a copy for myself. Not a huge deal I suppose as the pub was awash with patrons on the inside and outside. But I will say this: When I made a few phone calls a day or two before to ask a few questions about reservations and seating, each person I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and answered my questions clearly and with no hesitation or confusion. Some might think that such an experience like that isn't too remarkable, but, in a day and age of picking up the phone and talking to a computer and/or having to deal with poor customer service, this was a breath of fresh air. For those who plan to come for the remaining World Cup matches, if you do NOT have a reservation, be sure to walk around and see if there are any available tables (both inside and outside) that do NOT have a sign saying "reserved." If you're lucky to find one, you can sit there. If the table is indeed reserved, you can't sit there unless the amount of chairs at that table is greater than the amount of people for whom the table is reserved (which is noted on tables that are reserved.) There are a number of free seats up front that are first come, first served (which is where we sat), but they do NOT allow you to save seats for others. So I highly recommend that, if you plan to meet up with others, you arrive TOGETHER and EARLY. They recommended that we arrive at least one hour before the match started, which is great advice and served us well. Overall, if you're looking for a solid Irish pub in the South Bay, I highly recommend Green. SUPPORT LOCAL AND/OR SMALL BUSINESSES. 4 stars

I remarked on wanting to try their Irish pub entrees sometime, but that won't be happening after this visit. Our waitress did comp us two drinks for the service. However, when she brought us the receipt only one was comped, and she only comped the second after we pointed it out.
