I had a water leak in an interior wall that required the services of a plumber, water mitigation and restoration. The plumbing company contacted AST and they were out with evaporators fans and all the other equipment necessary for the removal of water. They dealt directly with the insurance company/adjuster on my behalf and provided them with all the photos and documentation necessary for the insurance claim. Once the water mitigation was complete, the restoration team took over. It was a smooth transition and took a weight off my shoulders of who do I call next to do what. They handled all of that. They were quick to respond to any questions and concerns that I had, answered my questions and addressed my concerns. They made a stressful situation much less stressful than it could have been. If I could give a 6 star review, I would. I called Monday morning and Jacob Velaquez was out here within an hour. He helped me understand what was going on, called a plumber that had isolated the refrigerator leak before noon. In addition, he helped with my conversation with my insurance company, while on speaker phone. He removed all the damaged drywall and cabinets BY HIMSELF! I have never seen that before. He is an amazing worker, professional, personable, honest and never leaves a mess. I also want to thank Vince, who is on the rebuild side- for his help in making our options easy to understand and working with him has been a pleasure. An update!! They new cabinets were just put in, Vince and Hugo, along with their team of Job, Jesus and Andres got it all done in record time- start day to today 2/12/26. Everything was left immaculate and their willingness to work with our adjuster and my husband and I couldn't have been better. Since they did such a good job I decided to have my mom's rug cleaned (which is smaller than mine) and they wanted to charge me DOUBLE what I paid. Just WOW! In brief, my guest room mattress and living room floor were in a poor state after Memorial Day weekend. I called mult companies, got quotes, etc. I was pleased with quote for mattress and floors, and they were able to send out technicians IN THE SAME DAY. I think it was a total of 30m, ~$200 for 2 rooms floors plus mattress. My mattress is fully restored AND they left cleaner for old stains!! My living room and master bedroom look wonderful! I researched duct cleaners in San Antonio and quickly learned the NADCA certification has merit. Alamo Steam Team is one of only a few listed on it's website for SA. They sounded competent over the phone and quoted me a moderate (but not free) price. Be very leery of the $89 and $49 specials listed in fliers and coupon sites. I wouldn't work for free and you get what you pay for (or you get hustled). Jeremiah and assistant came over to clean for me today but upon inspection made an alternative suggestion. My ducts are fairly clean and he was very honest with me and didn't see the value of cleaning my air system. I would have reached the same conclusion had I known how to inspect earlier, so I am very happy to inform everyone these guys are legit. read more

We had Jeremiah and his team (Josh and Joe) come this morning (Monday, Aug. 17, 2015) to clean our A/C ducts and dryer vent. They took down all of our registers (12) and cleaned them; they ran a circulating brush with a vac connected to it through every one of the ducts; they inspected the ducks in the attic and in doing so found a hole in one of the ducts which they repaired. They also ran a circulating brush up the dryer vent to the roof and then climbed upon the roof to inspect the vent cap to insure it was clean. After all of the ducts had been cleaned they fogged the ducts and then replaced all of the registers and vacuumed our carpets. They inspected and cleaned the a/c air intakes. I expected that we would have a house full of dust during the cleaning process. Much to my great surprise such was not the case. There was no dust. And I might add the fog they sprayed into the ducts has a very pleasant aroma. My wife who is super allergic to many things and has had absolutely no problems since their work. I wish YELP had more than just 5 stars - if they did I would rate them even higher than a 5. They were professional in every aspect. We were extremely impressed with the efficiency of their work. The services that Alamo Steam Team provides is not cheap. However, I didn't mind a bit to pay our bill. We will be calling them back in the near future to clean our carpets.
