Hands down, best place to get your breakfast burrito fix in this town (San Bernardino). I've been to a few places and Alanberto's is the BEST. I always order my burritos without potatoes, substitute beans (I am part Mexican and LOVE ME SOME BEANS!). Sometimes, they just swap out the potatoes for the beans and I still get their breakfast burrito deal price, other times, they charge me for the meat, cheese and egg burrito and add .75 for the beans (it really depends on which cashier is charging me). Either way, the burrito is always GOOD! I haven't had any of their lunch/dinner menu items yet, so I can't speak to those type of dishes. Oh, and I typically love Alberto's, and go to the one in Ontario on Mountain Avenue to get my morning breakfast burrito when I'm early getting to work, but the Alberto's across the street from Alanberto's, just doesn't come close to what Alanberto's offers (or what the Alberto's in Ontario does). read more

This review is for ALANbertos NOT the almost the same name Alberto's It makes it difficult because alot of times these two will be across the street from ona another. My favorite is the Chili Verde. Chunky pork in green sauce. Either in burrito form or in a plate. You get the standard Rice and beans, two great big, really good flour tortillas but the chunky pork is outstanding. Just enough fat to add flavor but not too overpower the mix. This plate has been my dish of choice for years. My gripe is for years I paid $10.00 for this plate and now a year later after the near shut down of the pandemic on businesses, they jacked the price to $13.25! An increase of 30% Now if the entree size increased also, I'd understand....but it didn't!! Just a 30% price hike across the board. I'm on disability and that $3.25 is close to a gallon of gas and has made me keep on driving past Alanbertos a few times. It's not just them. American greed has swept the nation. If vendors would ease up on the price gouging, it would drive better sales. Businesses I assume are still trying to make up for losses suffered during the pandemic, but on the backs of poor consumers is not the answer. I guarantee the big bosses never took a red cent of a money saving wage cut to compensate. I guess it's more Ramen and less Chile Verde. read more

The Fool working the Drive thru needs a serious lesson in customer service. Not only did he brush me off while i was ordering, but then i asked him for 6 green salsas. Knowing they only give 4 and saying i'd happily pay for extra, he then gives me two red and i politely give them back then tells me he can't give me more green salsa cus they are short.... Do not recommend! I ordered 5 Beef Rolled Taquitos, & 2 California Burritos. For 1 of the California burritos, I added sour cream & rice, NO PICO DE GALLO. but when I got my burrito, they added pico, so i sent it back. They gave me back another wrong burrito, but by then I was already over it. For the rolled taquitos, their meat tasted funny & smelled weird. It's kind of hit and miss with this place. Sometimes the carne asada is really good and other times it's tough and dry. The Chile rellenos with no guac, sour cream, or enchilada sauce are the best Chile rellenos I've ever had. Only issue I have is they don't take out all of the seeds. Don't bother with the breakfast burritos anymore. For $2.50 it was worth it to have basically a potato burrito but today the price was $4.70. I asked if it's the same mixture or has more meat now since the price almost doubled. She said the burrito hasn't changed. I bought a few of them for my family and they all said it was nothing but potatoes. I didn't mind having a potato burrito at that price (plus $1.50 to add cheese) because when I would pour the green sauce on, the potatoes taste good. But for $4.70 it's no longer a good deal for a potato burrito. They do make a regular one for $7+ that is what a breakfast burrito should be. It may cost more now because of the special going up but I didn't look on the menu. There is an albertaco's on 40th and Sierra way that just opened in the last 2 months. I'll definitely be going there instead. The portions are big and the prices are stabdard. I'll probably only go here for the rellenos. read more

Today I ordered a large horchata for my mom while I was on the way home. I was the only car om the drive thru, with only one other car in the parking lot. Anyways, i ordered and sat at the window for 5 min while the woman who took my order just kinda​ stood there talking to someone else in the kitchen. She final came to the window asking what I ordered. Annoying, but I politely restated my order, she filled up the cup (a sticky one I might add), I paid, got my change and left. So I get home and give my mom her horchata​ & To my surprise she immediately spits it out. She tells me to taste it and not only is it WARM but it tastes like rotten milk. Disgusting. I ordered a $2.49 breakfast burrito, and I must say I think it was a hash brown burrito. Maybe had a 1/4 or 1/2 piece of bacon in it. All potatoes raise the price and put more meat and egg inside. I'm going to give it another try with a meat burrito. The tortilla was great, and I'm giving them the benefit that the cheap burrito was just that. What can you expect for $2.49.
