    Chicken shawarma on Iraqi bread
    Jeremías C.

I had their chicken shawarma sandwich on Iraqi bread, lentil soup and a 6 piece falafel. I really enjoyed their food. I ordered on their website. Food was ready on time and they actually gave me more falafels than 6. The chicken sandwich was loaded with chicken. The lentil soup was piping hot and very flavorful. The falafel were really good. It was interesting cause the falafel wasn't green inside it was white. I didn't eat inside but it was clean inside. I'd definitely go back.

The service here is superb. Even though it's a fast-casual spot, the staff is genuinely attentive and treats you with care. Despite the place being packed, I got my food quickly. And the food is PHENOMENAL. Hands down the best Mediterranean I've had. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's absolutely worth trying, and chances are, you'll find yourself coming back. Also, the garlic and Amba sauces are top tier. I could go on and on about this place.

The best place for authentic Iraqi style middle eastern food. I come every Friday for a bowl of the lentil soup and the beef shawarma arabi style. Food is made to order, but worth the wait. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and the Assyrian music and ambiance throughout makes it feel like home.

Have only been here once - Pretty decent arab food but I don't think the quality for the price is better than Pita Inn or Zad.

Now I have eaten at a lot of Mediteranean restaurants over the years & just like every other food type there are some great place, good places & mediocre places. Larsa's definitely rates in the great range. Their food is delicious. In the past people, myself included used Pita Inn as a benchmark, but that's mainly because in the beginning there wasn't much to compare to. I have been trying different Mediteranean restaurants and Larsa's left PI in the rear view mirror. You can't even begin to compare the food at Larsa's to the former as the ingredients and flavors are far superior. Sure the cost is a little more, but there is absolutely no comparison as Larsa's food is far superior everything is made individually and not an assembly line production We started with a cup of lentil soup. I was like a starving animal savoring every bit of that soup. I should have gotten a bowl as it was delicious. Our server Nadia also brought out a regular serving of the jalapeño & cilantro hummus served w/warm thin pita bread. OMG this was like heaven. My sister mentioned that she could make a meal out just the hummus and the pita and I agree. Next we had the Fatoush Salad this has crispy pita crust, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, green peppers w/a dressing with olive oil, lemon & sumac. This was just ok, but I liked the crispy pita bread it added a nice crunch. We split a combo platter as the portion size is very generous. This dish comes w/chicken kabobs, beef kifta, beef shawarma, red onions, tomatoes slices & basmati long grain rice. The kifta & chicken kabobs were both very tasty, it they were a little dry. The beef shawarma was cooked & seasoned perfectly as the pieces just melted in my mouth. Every once in awhile our server Nadia came by and was very helpful in telling us about dishes we had questions about. She was super cool and friendly. There was another server that was also very helpful, but we didn't catch her name. Sometimes you go to a restaurant that everyone raves about and you think ehhh what the big deal, but this isn't the case w/Larsa's. I will definitely be back again. Thanks for the heads up Yelpies you picked a winner.

And they do a brisk takeout business if you're in a hurry. The service is cordial-to-friendly if you dine in. Their tabbouleh is a cut above everyone else's (even Pita Inn's), and while their regular hummus is very good, the cilantro jalapeño hummus is out of this world. Their falafel is also very tasty. Have heard good things about their sandwiches, as well. Was glad to see Larsa's staying open through the pandemic. Definitely worth a try!

Consistency is so important in restaurants and In so happy that this sandwich hit the mark every single time. We also have tried the pink sultan (beets/yogurt spread) and the baba ghanoush. Both are really good. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the doner and other sides! Service is friendly. Interior looks nice, but we carried out each time so I can't speak in detail about more in-depth service. Great place to have in the neighborhood!

Given their high ratings and thus our expectations, we ended up having but a meh, ok lunch. The wife and I split a lunch special combination plate ($17) and a bowl of lentil soup ($8). Complimentary bread was provided. The lentil soup was a bit watered down. The combo plate content was an average value but it was disappointing mainly as it wasn't hot, and everything was barely lukewarm. Ali was our friendly and gregarious server, hails from Istanbul, and has only been there a few weeks. There's a 2% credit card charge, so I just paid cash. It's a one and done for us here, but best of luck to Cappadocia!

I've since visited the Niles location several times. The food has always been consistently excellent, but unfortunately the service has never matched the quality of the kitchen. Today's visit was by far the worst. It took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. Throughout the meal, I had to repeatedly flag her down whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, she seemed to disappear halfway through dinner--I'm assuming she clocked out--because we had to get another server's attention just to receive basic assistance. The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the Al Bawadi Seafood Mixed Grill, and it absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. That's what makes this so frustrating. This restaurant serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in the area, but when you're paying premium prices, you expect service that matches the quality of the food. I still recommend the food without hesitation, but the consistently poor service at the Niles location is making it harder to justify returning.

Our server was so kind and never let us make the mistake of ordering the wrong thing. She gave us her recommendations every step of the way and every single one was perfect. What we got: Mint lemonade: 5/5. SO refreshing and delicious. Perfect sweetness and the little bit of pulp you get is great. I only wish there was more of it! Chicken arayes: 4.5/5. Crispy, cheesy, garlicky. Need I say more? Get some extra garlic on the side if you wanna take it up a notch. Fried halloumi: 4/5. These are like a soft mozzarella stick, so tasty. Definitely eat the pickles with them. Lamb chops: 4.5/5. 4 tender lamb chops seasoned beautifully. Definitely recommend the red rice over the yellow if you can handle a little bit of heat. Kanafeh: 5/5. Whoever thought that cheese, sweet syrup, phyllo, and pistachios would go together is a genius. Definitely don't leave without getting this dessert. The salt of the cheese perfectly balances out the sweetness. No notes! And get some peppermint tea to go with it too. And the portion sizes are huge! Definitely get your money's worth here. My only issue is this place is right by my job so now I'm gonna go broke getting food here all the time. But that's a problem I'd love to have!
