Some say not to change anything original on a classic car but I wanted an upgrade on the radio which should include Apple CarPlay where I could use apps like Waze, Google Maps, Bluetooth phone, etc. Also more importantly, a backup camera. After visiting a couple of other dealers that offered this service and told me they didn't want to take a chance working on my car, I discovered Russell's. He looked at the car and showed me the perfect unit. The only catch was the installation would require a bigger space that my current radio used. He did a perfect job. It actually looked like it was made to fit the width of the space and after enlarging the height of the space, no one would ever know it was a custom installation. All at a price that was well below what I expected. By the way, there was one issue that needed fixing and instead, he just replaced it.This is the first time I've posted a review. Russell is a young man who spends winters in Florida, and around mid-April he returns to Clinton, CT where he has a small office in a old building a block away from the Shop-Rite off Route 1. Russell told me he had to look at the car before he could tell if he could help and if he could, I would have to make a subsequent appointment. When I arrived, Russell went into the car, popped out the cassette player and told me he could replace it with a CD and Radio player in 30 minutes. So while I walked for 30 minutes along the nearby CT shore, Russell installed the stereo. He gave me a great price ($150 installed) and it sounds great. Russell is honest and talented.

We were still able to drive to a shop since we have dual tires on the rear. It was 4:30 pm so I called a couple of shops and they told me they were closing soon so they couldn't help us.
