We didn't have anything we didn't like. The standouts for me were the mushroom toast, the shrimp and grits, and the Homer raw oysters. The roast halibut and seafood chowder were also really good. For dessert we had the grilled angel food cake with blueberries. They were out of the lemon tarragon sorbet, but subbed in the chocolate coconut sorbet, and it was still very good. The only complaint was the slice of tomato that is out of season and tasteless. I mean it is Alaska after all. My seafood chowder which I paid an additional $4.00 for a cup was okay but whatever, the burger made up for it. All in all it was a great experience and delicious meal. Because it was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, the place wasn't as packed and noisy as it can be sometimes. The ambiance was super relaxed today so I sat and ate inside. BUT it was still really good, so no complaints there, just don't go in expecting heat. The space itself is great too, two levels, a bar upstairs, and a back patio that would be such a good spot in the summer. Overall, really good experience for a first visit and definitely somewhere I'd recommend checking out if you're in Seward.
