    Hawaiian pizza

Very limited options and VERY VERY EXPENSIVE for such a casual ambiance place. The vibe says wings, pizza, and paper plates with your buddies. The prices say fine wine and white tablecloths. There weren't a lot of options on a Sunday evening in the fall. The seafood was WAY too expensive for what they were offering. Literally can get a 5 star meal at some places for what they're charging here, so we got a pizza, and my husband got a side of fries. We watched the football game while we waited so that was nice. The fries were meh. We left them largely unfinished. I'm super picky about pizza, and their pizza was very good. Sauce and cheese were ok, but the crust was outstanding. It's literally one of the best I've ever had. Toppings were generous by Alaskan standards. Appreciate that the drinks were free refills. From a pizza perspective only, especially if you enjoy sports, imma a say this is a solid 4. They even had a few beers on tap, which may make the difference for some folks. They also have a small deck and a VERY nice view.

The service was decent, very friendly. The food was quite expensive but decent. Not an experience that I would write home about. I'd definitely recommend the Halibut over the Rock Fish.

    Halibut fish + chips

Best halibut + rockfish fish and chips we have ever had, and we have had a lot. Crispy light breading and super fries. Must stop before and after your Kenai Fjords boat tour!

Pricey yes, fresh absolutely, filling definitely, would eat this again. No different than prepared at home, but fresher. International staff takes a bit to understand but are quite friendly.

I didn't find food being exceptional ... typical "fry" everything till in no taste of food, only oil... had to wait for simple food for over an hour after we've been seated... waiter forgot second round of drinks, we left without it...

Fish and chips - 3 piece salmon. Two panko fried and one grilled.

The salmon looked and tasted fresh. The fries were fresh and hot. Perfectly cooked (needed a bit of salt). Service was efficient. Establishment was clean. There was a football game on (a plus). All in all, a good stop during a cruise ship visit to Seward.

Halibut and chips. The homemade tarter sauce and the pesto sauce are both the bomb!

We stopped in mid afternoon on a Saturday and were treated like we were important customers. The menu varies to accommodate seafood and meat eaters both. Our group tried the cod and chips, halibut and chips, coconut shrimp, seafood chowder and a kids burger and fries. Everything was delicious. My only regret is that we don't live close so we can't be frequent visitors. I highly recommend Alaska Seafood Grill the next time you are in Seward. This is the sort of place @guyfieri should visit on his next Alaska tasting.

    Calamari is good

The chowder was great but the fries and prawns were meh and sooo overpriced! Almost $30 for 4-5 small prawns and a handful of fries- skip!

"Cheap beer & lousy food" is so funny to me, but also untrue! The food is delicious and oh so fresh. Service was great as well. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. It's also nice because it's not in the downtown area, it feels secluded. Plenty of parking available as well. Food review: Salmon bake: (5/5) YUM. I mean, it is the name of the restaurant after all. The salmon is so fresh and is honestly such a big portion. We definitely could've shared between two of us. Crab cakes: (5/5) These were delicious! Such great flavors and texture. The crisp on the crab cake was perfect. The app comes with two crab cakes, but they are pretty big! Complimentary corn bread: (3.5/5) The bread was yummy. I just wish that it came warmed up, it tasted a little dry.

Their salmon was delicious, the prawns too, the burgers were very tasty, everything we have tried was good. Nice service too, the food comes out pretty fast. Today I remembered to do all the things including take pictures of my food. I walked in and was seated immediately, I chose to sit at the bar because it's just easier and the chairs all have better cushion. After seeing another patron eating a burger i decided to order one too! Great choice. I had the jalapeño burger with bacon jam and man was it delicious. The burger was a perfect medium well, the brioche bun was perfectly toasted, the white cheddar cheese was the perfect complement to the slightly sweet bacon jam, the bacon was crispy, Smokey and not greasy. The only complaint was the slice of tomato that is out of season and tasteless. I mean it is Alaska after all. My seafood chowder which I paid an additional $4.00 for a cup was okay but whatever, the burger made up for it. All in all it was a great experience and delicious meal. Because it was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, the place wasn't as packed and noisy as it can be sometimes. The ambiance was super relaxed today so I sat and ate inside. I absolutely loved the gluten-free coating on the halibut since I'm not a fan of tempura-style batter. The Tanner crab was amazing, and the fried pickles were also great, though the portion was huge (definitely too much for one person). Service was excellent both nights. The bartenders were really friendly, and the food came out quickly and smoothly. The interior is also super cute, kind of an old-school lounge vibe with lots of velvet. First, the place looks like1985 retired inside in a good way. The bar in lined in plush red fabric and the photos, decor and chairs all are retro to the max but what did the food taste like? So I ordered the smash burger and roasted mini Yukon gold potatoes with creme and bacon. The burger was kinda charred I guess but still good, the server never asked how I wanted it cooked so that was a HUGE minus, but it wasn't bad just not great, the flavor was good, the veggies were fresh, just not great! The potatoes were the star of the show! They were perfectly seasoned and the creme and bacon sauce was MONEY!! They literally melt in your mouth and were roasted perfectly without being mushy. The service was good, the vibe was super chill. The place is kinda pricey for what you get but that is everything in this little town. I will be back to try some other things eventually.

We ordered a bottle of reserve red blend. The wine was below average--the type that's barely drinkable at first and then becomes acceptable after the first glass. I wondered why it was possible to select such a mediocre bottle of wine from their menu. I suggest making a reservation at Rays Waterfront next door.
