The earliest appointment was one hour from when I got there, so I waited. Once I arrived, they brought me straight into the back right away. The initial doctor who saw me was very sweet and welcoming and made me feel cared about. The second doctor listened to what I said with intent and gave me a proper examination. I ended up being prescribed with antibiotics due to a possible ear/sinus infection. Nothing took too long (besides the initial waiting), everyone was nice, and I was actually listened to and taken seriously (unlike Ellis Urgent Care at Mohawk Harbor). Thank you!

Had to kill a couple of hours but I expect some unpredictability at a walk-in clinic, anyway. The staff was friendly & patient with my daughter, and elicited good behavior which was in turn rewarded with some small toys that left her happy instead of distressed at the visit. An especially big shout out to Dr. Michael Ungerland. (Technically, he's a PA... but, in my experience, that frequently translates to "Physician without an Attitude."). He's a champ, and I'd seek him out again. One always hopes not to need medical attention, but it's comforting to have a go-to care facility while traveling.

We went to the Urgent Care in the early afternoon after my 2-year old son cut his chin, It was…read morerelatively minor and a clean cut, but would need to be closed. I checked into the Urgent Care Center and then waited over 2 hours in the waiting room before seeing anyone. They did not triage anyone who registered, it was just first-come, first-served. People with sore throats were seen before my son, who was bleeding all over the place. When we finally got into an exam room, the nurse (who was less than friendly) washed his chin and told me that the doctor would be in soon. A few minutes later, a PA shows up and proceeds to tell me that she can't glue his chin because the tissues were too swollen and would need to be trimmed (in my opinion, probably as a result of waiting so long), that my son will need stitches and that she doesn't do trimming or stitches and there was no doctor in the office. So, after waiting ~2 1/2 hours to finally see any medical personnel, they tell me that I have to go to the ER instead. If they actually did TRIAGE when I first got there (like any other Urgent Care or ER I've ever been to), they could have referred me immediately to the ER and I could have saved a lot of time and money since they also billed me for doing absolutely nothing but telling me I needed to bring him somewhere else. (On a side note, the Ellis ER got us in and out in about 30 minutes). I would avoid this Urgent Care, there's a total lack of process or organization and the staff is less than friendly. I guess it's ok if you have a sore throat or congestion, but beyond that, they seem incapable of taking care of minor medical problems that shouldn't require a trip to the ER.

I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of people who were here hours after me and then were seen before me. The common phrase overheard "I was here last night and left because the wait was so long I'm feeling worse today." There is clearly no systems in place here to help patients in a timely manner. I only came here cause all urgent cares were closed at the time I needed assistance. Wait times now are going on 3.5 hours. I'm only staying at this location because I have committed to waiting here for this long. If you need assistance seek help elsewhere. I can't comment on the care cause I haven't been seen... I will update this review after being seen. Update #1: we have hit the four hour mark. The RN behind the counter sincerely cares for patients you can tell she is doing anything she can to get people in. We will wait a bit longer and give a second update. Update 2: Nurses in back are very friendly! I would have less severe and severe rooms to reduce wait times for all patients. My daughter went for a new patient visit as she recently moved to the area. After my daughter told…read morethe NP that she was feeling a bit fatigued, the NP said "I've seen this before and it was cancer". The NP did not have my daughter's medical records or history. The NP then proceeded to order numerous tests and procedures and then referred her to an oncologist without reviewing the results. The oncologist told my daughter that the tests were unneccesary and that she does not have cancer. My daughter then received 8 different bills totally thousands of dollars. Ellis has not returned phone calls. I would stay far, far away from Ellis Medicine.

They treat their patients like they are a burden to them. Relay the wrong information about…read moremedication. They literally told my mother inaccurate information about a medication that she was taking. She had extremely high blood pressure for which she ended up landing up in the ER.. and asked if she could be given something to control the BP after her discharge.. she was told the medication she was already taking would suffice to help the BP... when really that medication (i later confirmed with her cardiologists office) was only to help with the heart rate irregularities she was experiencing. Her cardiologists office confirmed that the nurse in the ER was wrong. 65 different nurses will come visit you in a matter of 24 hours but none of them know what is going on. It's almost like there is 0 to minimal documentation that is done with fidelity and integrity. When you ask them for something they look at you as if you have 0 right to ask them for anything. It's absolutely disgusting.

I explained to the PA that since it was Saturday and my daughter had volleyball camp on Monday I didn't want her to miss camp because of sickness so could he just give us a prescription she could start just in case. The PA refused. I ended up going to a different urgent care that was much more professional and I was able Have an actual doctor check my daughter over and talk to her about her symptoms. She said she always gives a prescription for anabiotic's when it sounds like it's strep instead of waiting three days for the results of the second swab. I will definitely never go back to this urgent care. They were more interested in talking about what they were ordering for breakfast than they were in talking to us about my daughter symptoms.

They are billing for money in excess of what insurance did not cover. When you are "in network" you are in contract to take what the insurance will pay. Fraudulent charges ?! This place is shady.
