The quality of work you will receive is extremely low and not standard of a professional jeweler. They will mislead you in telling you they have an onsite jeweler and that they provide quality work. They tell you that they stand behind their 100 customer satisfaction by offering to REWORK your rings to a DIFFERENT ONE OF THEIR THREE OUTSOURCED jewelers, but when you refuse, they will tell you that they can't help you anymore. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Background: I went in to get sizing beads on both my engagement and wedding band. Jill helped me. I asked if there was an on site jeweler and she said yes. (I find out after the fact, this is not the case.) Then she gave me about 2 seconds of her time to size me and send me off on my way. (red flag) When they called me to pick them up a couple weeks later, I had to head there with my 2 year old son, so I paid for them and went to try them on in the car. To my HORROR, the sizing beads WERE UNEVEN, SHARP, ONE WAS OVER THE INSIDE OF A DIAMOND, and THERE WAS LOOSE METAL HANGING OFF. I took my 2 year old and I went back in to the store and showed the gentleman the issues with the beads, the placement, the sizing, the sharpness, and the warping of my band. I told him this was unacceptable quality for a professional jeweler and I asked for a refund to get them fixed at another location. He said they don't provide refunds, but they guarantee 100 customer satisfaction. I said it didn't look like anyone looked at the quality of my rings before returning them back to me and I was surprised that they were given to me in this condition. The gentleman stated that maybe Jill didn't have time to look and that she had been busy. (Red flag) Since Jill wasn't there, he said he could't help me unless I wanted to leave the rings with him to get re-worked with another one of their three offsite jewelers or I had to come back the following Tuesday when Jill was back in the store. It was a Friday. Over the weekend, I took the rings to MULTIPLE other jewelers in STL to assess the quality of the sizing beads on the rings. They couldn't believe that a company would have returned my rings to me in this condition and identified multiple issues with the way in which the work was done. I called Paramount back and told them this. They responded by saying they have been in the business for 80 years and Jill 30 years and that if I am refusing to have my rings sent back to be re-worked then there is nothing else they can do for me, but they will not give me a refund. Again, I told him I did not have confidence in this establishment in performing the work on my rings again and I'd just appreciate a refund to get them done by a different jeweler. He said there is nothing more they can do for me. Finally when Jill called me back, she said she HAD looked at the rings and stood behind the quality, which was surprising for someone working in the jewelry business for 30 years. OVERALL: I would take your business elsewhere. If you choose to still go with this company and you've read this far, then you'll be out of money and you'll still have to find another company to do the correct work on your jewelry. I sent them elsewhere where the jeweler was onsite and they came back PERFECT. I told them the situation and they worked with me to provide me with rings that looked and felt beautiful.
