While I was in the process of selling and/or giving away all of the items in the house, I contacted Christian of Ahearn hauling to make an appointment to have everything removed so that I wouldn't be stuck by settlement. Christian probably set an appointment time and showed up at that time to give me an estimate. His price to remove everything was way under the "big box" junk removal companies, and he even further worked with me a little bit on the price to get a commitment from me. In between the time I set the appointment and the date when he was to have the junk removed, I was able to actually sell and/or give away everything that needed to go. As a result, I never ended up using Ahearn hauling, I was very impressed with the way they conduct business. They were prompt, efficient, respectful and reasonable. Additionally, Christian worked with me on dates to have the stuff removed asap because he knew I was going to settlement within a week. I definitely appreciated the personal touch even though circumstances prevented me from completing the job with their company. But I would definitely recommend these guys for any of your moving and/or junk removal needs.

All of the staff members that I encountered throughout the weekend were friendly and extremely helpful. The room that we had was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a basic hotel room because it was the retreat center that was part of the camp. However, it was certainly comfortable and the bathroom was huge. I'm not sure if it was because we had it handicapped room but it was certainly very nice and very roomy. The camp itself was super nice and lots of activities and things to do. The meals were basic at best. Usually when I go to family events the meals are really good. I can only really say that about breakfast on Sunday. The breakfast buffet was pretty darn good overall. The rest of the meals were just mediocre and were probably more suited for kids attending camp during the summer. It was okay. It just wasn't quite my cup of tea. But overall this is a beautiful place and the retreat center is very nice.
