    Taco salad
    Jeff S.

I've eaten at Christy's more times than I can count, having worked in the area for 19 years. That said, the most recent several years, I've been a work-from-homer, so Christy's hasn't been on my beaten path. As it happened the other day, I actually had to schlep myself into the office (gasp) for a face to face meeting (even bigger gasp), which lasted all of 30 minutes. Seeing how it was lunch time (actually about 2pm) and I was feeling a mite peckish (if you know what that is, you might be a redneck, as the saying goes), I bopped over to Christy's for some reminiscing and a little food. On that day, I opted for the taco salad, which I remember as being pretty freakin good. It still is. Over the years, I've had most of their subs, several dozen phillies, a ton of taco salads and a veritable barrel full of chili and spaghetti. Not one time, never, ever did I come away unhappy with a meal. And if you've read any of my reviews, you're probably saying "No way... you're the most hard to please SOB on Yelp!" Again... never, not once was I unhappy with a meal at Christy's. As for the place, it's in a strip mall at Pine and North Mingo, so don't go expecting fine dining, or a cozy intimate ambience. The place caters to the airport/AA/blue color manufacturing places in the area, and they do it right. If you're looking for solid, unpretentious, served on styrofoam with plastic utensils, knock your socks off diner food.... Christy's is the place.

We had been to our storage and were hot, tired & hungry. We pulled on into Christys BBQ for a fast & delicious dinner. The lady behind the counter was quick to walk my husband through their menu. He was a first timer, pretty sure he is gonna be a "second & third timer too. I got a kids meal and my husband got 3 meat/2 side specials. The BBQ was on point! Go, grab it, and get you some. My goodness it's a delicious.

Love coming to Christy's. The burger and fries are always prepared well and consistently taste great. I will be back again soon.

The food was unbelievable. I had to take most of it home because of the portion size. Great food cheap!

My gyro was great, the fries were bland (ketchup fixed that), and my coworkers said the burger was simple and tasty.

Since I had passed on the hotel breakfast, my tummy was getting a bit rumbly. When departing from the A concourse, you pass through Security and take a right turn down the long hallway. As you are walking down this hallway, the first sign that you will see is for T.G.I.Friday. The best advice I can give you is, at this point, don't slow your pace one bit nor look left or right. Continue to walk purposefully down the hallway and take a left turn. Midway down that hallway, you will see Camille's Sidewalk Cafe on the left. The menu here is wide ranging unless you are looking for Copious Amount of Cow. Sandwiches, wraps, salads, some breakfast stuff, as well as some sweet treats and pastries. I chose the Turkey Habanero Panini with Chips and Salsa. Because everything is made fresh, it did take a few minutes for my order to come up, but it was by no means because the service was slack. Quite the contrary, the service here is exquisite, the person that took my order and payment was helpful and friendly! (This is becoming a recurring theme in Oklahoma it seems. Maybe something in the water here?). When it came up, my panini was fresh and tasty with just the right amount of sizzle to it. The bread was fresh and chewy and the chips and salsa were the perfect companion. The portion was also exactly perfect, enough to fill me up without making me feel like I needed a nap. If you have some time to kill while in TUL (and you probably will because you can go from curbside to departure gate in about 10 minutes), avoid the Bling and go to Camille's, you will be glad that you did.

They have a wide variety of wraps for breakfast as well as lunch and vegetarian options too!! The prices are very reasonable for an airport food spot! Definitely a good choice if you're looking for filling fresh food in TUL!
