The Miele experience center was a great experience!! We needed a new dishwasher and after doing our research, purchasing a Miele was the obvious choice. We decided to go to the experience center to view the options and we are glad we did. The employees are incredibly knowledgeable and their job is to educate you rather than pushing you to purchase a bunch of products. They believe that if you purchase one product, you will like it so much, you will come back to purchase more. We purchased the 7186 and after owning it for a month, we will definitely be buying more Miele products. We are blown away at how well it is engineered and the quality. The only downside is after having such a great experience with Miele you have to go and purchase it from Albert Lee. Perhaps I have had bad luck but I have made purchases from Albert Lee twice and both times, the delivery experience has been terrible (it took them 5 hours and a trip back and forth to the warehouse to install the dishwasher). read more

What can make an outstanding product even better? Getting the MOST out of all the advanced features. The folks at the Miele Experience Center provide outstanding service and training. We recently renovated our kitchen and purchased a large 8 burner Miele stove and a dishwasher. My wife is a very competent cook and loves her new stove, but she is also immunocompromised. So, due to Covid we deferred getting hands on instructions for the new stove and dishwasher. When I asked Jennifer at the Center if anything could be done she immediately volunteered to provide 1 on 1 instruction with full individual protection gear. My wife went down there and learned not just tons about the new stove but also some hands on advice on how to use the dishwasher -- including fitting the stovetop racks into it for thorough cleaning. SUPER helpful, practical advice, delivered VERY professionally. EXCELLENT. Now, that is the kind of service that endears true customer loyalty. read more

I needed to update my appliances in the kitchen and laundry and figured a visit to the Seattle Miele Experience Center might be a good idea. Turned out to be correct. The staff there was great - very knowledgeable and professional. Keep in mind they don't sell appliances there - just accessories. They do provide recommendations on where they can be purchased though. I had some questions after purchase and installation of my washer and dryer, and the team at the Experience Center were extremely helpful. read more

We went to the Miele Seattle Experience Center to learn about products that we recently bought (an induction cook-top and a combi-steam oven). We really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. They treated us very nice. It started with a glass of wine. Then we took a tour of the Center. While we were touring, we were given appetizers. All of the food was cooked using the Miele products, of course. And the food was excellent. For dinner we had this incredibly juicy and tender beef tenderloin, and some vegetables done to perfection. Then we had a delicious dessert. The food was so good, it was like we were at a five-star restaurant! I plan to go back again when they have the class that is specifically for the combi-steam oven. Going to this event made me glad I bought Miele products. read more

I love this experience center. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I've done a few of the cooking classes and learned so much. Plus- the food was delicious! It's so helpful to be able to come in and ask questions about actually cooking with the products. I keep walking out wanting more things - so it's a bit spendy even though it costs nothing to attend the classes. Next on the list is a fridge and an extractor fan. I'm slowly replacing all my appliances with Miele. I have 5 Miele appliances already and they are solid! read more

We recently purchased a Miele combi steam oven. Unfortunately, we have yet to use it because it needs a new circuit board which we hope will arrive soon. In the meantime, the Miele repair person suggested we contact the Miele Experience Center, Bellevue for a hands on demonstration. We were able to make an appointment and meet with Jennifer. She was excellent in showing us all the features and answering our questions. We were able to actually cook a few things. And, we did purchase several accessories and cleaning products that will enhance our use of and care for our combi steam oven. Jennifer was very helpful and also emailed us several handouts with recipes and information we look forward to using as soon as our combi steam oven is repaired. I just hope it will be soon. We also appreciate the Miele repair person referring us to the Bellevue Miele Center. read more

Some of the negative reviews are about Miele corporate customer service, but this one is about the Experience Center in particular. We went to the Center to look at cannister vacuums (since the Miele website is mind-boggling with a zillion models, all slight variations of each other). Jennifer helped us out and she was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the product line and helpful in steering us in the right direction. She also knows almost everything about the entire Miele product line. When she happened to be out one day, another associate took up the slack and contacted us right away. If you need help in selecting a model, etc., this is the place for you. read more

While I like the Miele Seattle Experience Center, I have not been at all pleased with Miele's customer service by phone or email. I purchased my Miele dishwasher last fall and had it professionally installed in my new kitchen. While the dishwasher work great and I'm happy with it's dishwashing functions, I spent several hundred dollars to get the wi-fi fucntionality. After spending 3 hours waiting on the phone, I finally got a technician who had no idea how to get the wi-fi working. Later, after spending hours myself working on it, I got it working for about 5 months and then it quit again. Left multiple emails over the month and finally called them again. The technician asked if I had went through the setup and I told him I followed it closely (it is very cumbersome). He then said I need to power off the dishwasher completely (unplug it), wait 5 minutes, and then plug it in again. It still does not work. I still cannot get it working. Very unhappy. The sad part is my daughter recently purchased one for her kitchen install (upon my recommendation when mine worked). Hoping hers goes better. (I also purchased a 5 year warranty on mine.) read more

Loyal to Miele My recent experience with Miele reminded me that there are still companies out there that are loyal to us, their customers, and stand behind their products in ways I thought were by-gone. I bought my Miele from a [then] dealer (since dropped by Miele), and when I took it in for a service they completely ruined it (without letting me know they were no longer an authorized dealership). It came back to me in pieces in a box. Miele came to my rescue and made it whole again. They stepped up and took care of me, and now I have my vacuum back, good as new. Seriously. Good as new. I give them 5 stars, two thumbs up, and raves all around. They have my complete loyalty. Great product, great service. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service from Miele!!! A refrigerator costing $8k stopped cooling after 7 months, then it took Miele about 2 months to try to fix it, still not resolve the problem. They put us wait for their trial-and-error repairs, company's management doesn't really care about their customer!!! They don't even deserve the one star! This was the best time and time well-spent! It was like an epiphany, learning about all I can do with my combi-steam oven. To be able to enjoy the delicious dinner of food that they prepared with the appliance was an added bonus! I attended a few cooking classes there and they were very helpful, I really discovered my combi steam oven and I feel like now I can use it to the full extent and it is just wonderful. My older 2142U dishwasher (10 or more years old) stopped after running half of the first cycle. I took out the silver L shaped piece and the long bar that spins water around thinking I could find food or an inappropriate something to remove. Nothing out of place did I see except a couple of quarts of undrained water. I called Bellevue Service Center who walked me thru the steps to try a do-it-myself fix. I removed stagnant water and parts as directed..more than I had ever tried or thought I should/could do. I even put the pieces back in place when finished with no pieces left over! The fella (Matt) who walked me thru the steps could not have been more patient, kind and clear; very nice and helpful in his step by step instructions. The DW works now. It means so much to me not to have to pay a service person's fees and glad to have done the work with respectful step-by-step phone instruction. A company such as Miele with quality products AND fine service is seldom found. I have and will continue recommending Miele without hesitation. I have a Miele DW and a vacuum. As appliances need replacing I will be looking at the Miele brand. THANK YOU to Matt and Miele. read more
