A last min pick because my friend needed to pick up something in the area. The food was amazing my Mediterranean omelette was outstanding. The drinks so good from the ice coffee to the cranberry mimosas. The place has a very welcoming vibe. The staff so helpful and friendly. Will be returning to try more of the selections.

Cute interior, solid food, and efficient service. The cinnamon roll pancakes were the standout and the reason for my 4 (not 3) stars - not too sweet, but full of warm gooey goodness! The rest of the food was solid, but could've been better: the toast was a bit burnt & the home fries were a bit under. A bit pricey with everything in that picture totaling to over 30 bucks - albeit it was a lot of food & lasted me more than 1 meal!

First time at The Cozy Grill and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it! The smell of the food hits you as soon as you park. We waited about 15 minutes on a Saturday for a group of six plus a newborn, and the space was roomy enough for all of us. I had the Mango Tango to drink which came with (champagne, Malibu, mango & passion fruit juice) and it was perfectly balanced. For food, I tried the Cozy Special with ham. The home fries could use a little more seasoning, but I appreciated that they had salt, pepper, and Frank's hot sauce on the table. Overall, a great first visit and I'd come back if I'm in the area.

I would eat here every day if I could. The selection of egg Benedict's is amazing and always delicious. We also always have to split a cinnamon roll pancake stack or waffle, seriously unbelievable. They also always have creative and delicious specials which makes it super hard to decide on what to get. The service is fast and friendly. No frills decor, just cozy, like the name says lol. Feels like eating at a relatives home.

The first time I came here was early this year for my friend's birthday brunch. She had mentioned good things about it, and just based on the line of parties waiting to be seated, I started to believe she was onto something. I had the steak tips and the service was good, but it didn't leave much of a lasting impression. However, I stumbled upon a video on facebook of a guy who had their fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese benedict and their cinnamon roll with house made glaze pancake and it looked exceptionally good. I added it to my list of places to go, and finally got around to it. After going and trying that exact benedict, it's been on my mind constantly and I cannot wait to go back for more. When we arrived, there was a line (per usual), but they took down our name and number, and texted us when they were ready which gave us some time to explore the area on a walk. As the hostess walked us to our seats, I realized that the inside is so much bigger than the outside leads it on to be. The noise level was moderate despite it being so packed. Our waitress was kind and attentive throughout our entire time there. I obviously went in knowing what I wanted which helped us get our food a lot quicker. The first bite of the benedict was exactly what I imagined it to be - savory, sweet, salty, and creamy. I would have probably never picked this dish without having watched that video because the texture of prosciutto turns me off a bit, but when it's crispy, it's a game changer. The fig jam provides that sweet contrast but its not overpowering. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the homefries but it didn't bother me. My friend ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries and toast and it was also good, with a generous amount of bacon. I am very excited to keep going back to try more benedicts, and this is the first time I have heard of this combo, so it makes this place unique to me.

The restaurant looks small on the outside but once you go in it's big! Staff was friendly and accommodating, it's self seating and there were plenty of seats to choose from, we decided to sit in the back. Service was quick and food was quickly made and brought out to us. There's an electric fireplace in the room where we sat so I can see where the "cozy" name came from; there was also jazz music playing. I'd come here again! Ps: my husband wanted me to mention that they have REAL maple syrup here not just the high fructose one, so extra brownie points to that haha

Recently met a friend at The Cozy Grill and we had a wonderful meal. I was a little thrown off by the parking at first, but it was just because I came in from the back side. The lot is tight, but it was a weekday, so we were able to find a spot without a problem. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. They have an impressive lineup of benedict's, definitely way more options than you'll usually see. I always order corn beef hash at breakfast spots, it's my benchmarks. Their corn beef hash benedict was spot on and super delicious. Totally something I'd order again. Iced coffee was solid and I appreciate that they offer you a fresh cup to go if you'd like. Will definitely stop in again if I'm in the area.

It is a cozy little space. The food and service are fantastic. You know a place is great when people are waiting to get in. Had the Irish and Portuguese egg Benedict's and the Mediterranean omelet. All were great. Highly recommend this place. Lunch menu looks very goood as well.

Their menu is so much more than pancakes, waffles, and eggs. I had to choose between a cornbread waffle and cinnamon roll pancakes-- what a fun choice! Service was good and the estimate for wait time was accurate (20 minutes around 11 am on a Sunday). It is a small place so there's usually a wait and it's a bit loud, but worth it for the food! read more

I can't believe I only just now discovered this spot :) My friend and I were lucky/smart and checked it out on a Friday morning instead of a weekend. When we arrived there was parking available and no wait, but by the time we left, the tables were pretty full as was the parking lot. The Cozy Grill is quite literally cozy inside... the menu features breakfast classics but also an impressive Benedicts menu. I'm a Benny girl through and through so this was very appealing to me. I tried their most popular option, the Fig, Prosciutto, and Goat Cheese. It sounds like a bizarre combination for Eggs Benny, but let me tell you, it really works! I was very happy with my choice. The home fries were also quite good. My friend had eggs and corned beef hash. She is a huge fan of corned beef hash and was really impressed by how it was served (more elegantly than is typical). I, never having had corned beef hash in my life, tasted hers and thought it was really good! All in all, I'm so glad I finally discovered this spot. My son and I have been coming here over the last 25 years. It has consistently had tasty GOOD food and been upgraded with spritely decor throughout the years as well. Good diner Good menu, full of Benedicts & cozy comfort breakfast food. Locals love this place, families and friends, co-workers and cops packed in by the table full the Monday before Christmas. The local place to meet apparently and the diner delivered. Try for the far back room for the best atmosphere, a faux fireplace in an A-frame addition. The wait staff guys running fast were friendly enough and efficient for a slamming busy morning. Hard to choose between the benes but I select a chicken n waffle special. $19.97 (I upgraded to cornmeal waffle $2.75 but only got a half a waffle) A honey hollandaise was kinda odd over two poached eggs on top the crispy chicken. Sadly the corn-waffle kinda fell flat n mushy and not as I'd hoped. But all in it was a good diner meal. Came with a big side of fresh tasty home style potatoes that I boxed up for a later meal. Give a try, this unassuming diner with modern prices. read more

This place was fantastic! Everyone's meal was fresh and the portions are very large. Their Bloody Mary is one of the best I've had in a long time. I ordered the Portuguese Benedict as that is not something I have near me at home in Florida. It was soo good. The Pork Sausage was much better than Taylor Pork Roll sausage. The poached egg was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were cooked and had some color to them which Ioved. If I lived nearby Inwould make this a breakfast place routine. Our server was so friendly and patient with us. He made our experience even more special. Highly recommend this restaurant! read more

This is the best breakfast spot in RI with so many delicious options to choose from. It is definitely worth the drive if you aren't lucky enough to live near by, and always worth the wait. The service is always great and the decor is welcoming, and yes, cozy. read more

Wonderful little(big!) breakfast/ lunch venu. Great atmosphere and very clean. Our waiter was knowledgeable and told us what the special was and what he liked best. If your wanting a cocktail with your food they have those too. I had the Irish eggs benidict with home fries. The '' benidict was yummy with home made homemade corned beef hash. On the down side the home fries weren't crispy. I would still give them a 10 out of 10 because the menu looks amazing! Definitely going back if I'm in the area again! read more

The restaurant was suggested by an Elite Yelper and he didn't disappoint. We arrived and we were seated as soon as we walked through the door. The dining room attendant offered us their speciality coffee for the day which was the blueberry cobbler and it was absolutley delicious. Mark, another attendant who was Super Amazing came over and took our order. I had the pastrami omelet, sourdough toast with potatoes and my girlfriend had scrambled eggs sourdough toast with the potatoes and I must say that the food was worth every dime we spent. We enjoyed both the food and the service. My girlfriend enjoy her food so much that she went back the next day with some other friends and tried the corned beef hash omelet and said it was one of the best tasting omelets that she's ever had. Ah this is old school at its best. Auntie at the door makes you feel like you're home in her kitchen. This was therapy for me. Watching the cooks work in Harmony. The smiles and the service in this place is outstanding. I don't live here but if I did this is where I would go weekly. I for one love a place that you can see reinvest back in it's business - and everytime I go to Cozy, something is new - in a good way! Between the decorations, the seating, the parking lot, the chairs outside, the shade - etc. I know who Auntie Mary is now - never got her name before, but always enjoyed seeing her face and her energy, The wait on Labor Day was maybe 25 minutes. We took our buzzer and went to the Cozy gift shop right next door. Did some shopping, got a bracelet I'm obsessed with... and went back just as we were buzzed. I got the Portuguese Benedict's. They were excellent - though I wish the meat was a little spicier. With the sweet French toast it sort of overpowered the chorizo. My sister got the Irish and we ended up splitting - except my half of that was taken to go and gobbled up later that evening as leftovers. I don't go often - living alllllll the way in North Providence now. But it was a treat for the long weekend. And the new gift shop was a nice distraction while waiting. read more

I stop by on my way to the airport and had breakfast there for the second time. I got lucky and found the place as I flew in to Providence and was lucky enough to find it again heading back to the airport. I can't find a better place to eat close distance to the airport than this restaurant. On a weekend it's crowded, but there is no way that you sit at the counter, which is what I did. Everything on the menu looks great. I had two poached eggs with bacon and spinach and it was not a mistake. read more

Loved our meal here back in November. They have an extensive selection of Eggs Benedict, as well as some good burgers. Loved the atmosphere. Have a friendly wait staff as well! Will definitely be stopping in when we are next in town. read more

The good was the service, the ladies we had on service were great. The food was ok, I got the Irish Beni and the homemade corned beef hash tasted good but was so wet and too much for my liking and it made the English muffin soggy, and nobody likes a soggy English muffin!!! The blueberry pancake was good, we also had the Nothest omelette- it was good However to much goat cheese and it over powered all the other flavors. Everything else was basic breakfast dinner fare. We will maybe be back in the future.... read more

My husband had cornbread waffles. They were light and heavenly. I had a country Benedict. The ham was delicious Restaurant was clean and cozy and service was fantastic. We were in the area overnight and were fortunate to find one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time. Worth the drive! read more

The hostess is a gem. Run like a family business. Service was quick and attentive. Plus the hostess tells you specials as she sits you. Had a traditional breakfast and eggs Benedict with avocado. I have to say the Eggs Benedict were a little over priced for Warwick. But the meal and service made up for the price. read more

Established in 1997.

The original Cozy Grill opened in 1981 on Broad St. in Providence RI by Thomas Pilderian Sr. He raised his sons, Thomas and Jason in the restaurant business from the beginning and years later in 1997 his son Thomas Pilderian Jr. opened the Cozy Grill on Warwick Ave in Warwick RI. They will celebrate 24 years in business this August.

Upon arrival the room was at 68 (below 30 outside) soooo turned that sucker up. Put it on 74 and thought it would warm up overnight. Arrived pretty late, after 11pm. To my suppose the room was still at 68. And getting out of a warm bed to that was not my idea of a good morning. I called the front desk and the agent confirmed I was using the right thermostat to control the temp and noted that maintenance would check it. That was fixed as when I returned it was a nice balmy 76! Downside though was the unit did an odd cycling thing with warm air....cold air...warm air. So it never shut off at night and tan the entire time. Their drive way is odd, one way only and Tuesday morning there was a delivery truck blocking the exit. Thankfully no one else was behind us so we were able to back out. The room felt very industrial. Concrete walls and high ceilings, with an almost open concept bathroom. Barn door and the shower was a waterfall (over head) with hand held option thankfully. If you've got curtly hair, you know why a waterfall shower is the worst. And to ere was no shower cap as an option. The shower itself did not go all the way to the ceiling which also meant there was no barrier between you and the room. If share with a partner may not be bad but with friends, that's a nightmare. Other downside was the lock was funky. When leaving for dinner, thank goodness I checked the lock as it did not lock. I had to open the door and mess with it to finally lock. All in all decent hotel however I can't say I'd stay again.

There is no 'handicapped parking' specifically for Gel's due to the way the parking lot is designed. There is a small vestibule between the outside and the inside where you will find a community food pantry. Take something if you need it, or leave something for your neighbors. This is such a lovely offering and very much in line with Gel's local community mind set. The doors into the vestibule are heavy glass and metal. Seat yourself in one of the booths. When they remodeled they added a small bar to the back area if you prefer counter seating. They offer a variety of mimosa flavors at breakfast and beer and wine at lunch. Although I suppose if you want a beer with your eggs, have at it. The front and side walls have large windows making the interior bright. They offer so many specials. Check out all the white boards on the back wall above the counter seating. These are in addition to their standard menu. Breakfast items include egg based meals (eggs & bacon & toast for ex.), pancakes, hash and lots of al la carte sides. Coffee is good and comes with free refills. The lunch menu includes sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps and they have a kids menu too. They also offer Kino if you like. They sell Gel's merch (holiday gifts?) and decorate for all the holidays.

It's a great little, locally owned and operated business and those are becoming fewer and further apart nowadays. Support these kind of places or they will go away.

Great Breakfast place! Used to come here every morning before my classes switched back in high school. Make sure to check out the Specials cause they rock! Only issue is parking and seating! Always jam packed so expect to wait 5 minutes to find a seat! I see this as a Pro though, means they are certainly doing something rihgt! read more
