I can't believe I only just now discovered this spot :) My friend and I were lucky/smart and checked it out on a Friday morning instead of a weekend. When we arrived there was parking available and no wait, but by the time we left, the tables were pretty full as was the parking lot. The Cozy Grill is quite literally cozy inside... the menu features breakfast classics but also an impressive Benedicts menu. I'm a Benny girl through and through so this was very appealing to me. I tried their most popular option, the Fig, Prosciutto, and Goat Cheese. It sounds like a bizarre combination for Eggs Benny, but let me tell you, it really works! I was very happy with my choice. The home fries were also quite good. My friend had eggs and corned beef hash. She is a huge fan of corned beef hash and was really impressed by how it was served (more elegantly than is typical). I, never having had corned beef hash in my life, tasted hers and thought it was really good! All in all, I'm so glad I finally discovered this spot. First time at The Cozy Grill and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it! The smell of the food hits you as soon as you park. We waited about 15 minutes on a Saturday for a group of six plus a newborn, and the space was roomy enough for all of us. I had the Mango Tango to drink which came with (champagne, Malibu, mango & passion fruit juice) and it was perfectly balanced. For food, I tried the Cozy Special with ham. The home fries could use a little more seasoning, but I appreciated that they had salt, pepper, and Frank's hot sauce on the table. The restaurant looks small on the outside but once you go in it's big! Staff was friendly and accommodating, it's self seating and there were plenty of seats to choose from, we decided to sit in the back. The first time I came here was early this year for my friend's birthday brunch. She had mentioned good things about it, and just based on the line of parties waiting to be seated, I started to believe she was onto something. I had the steak tips and the service was good, but it didn't leave much of a lasting impression. However, I stumbled upon a video on facebook of a guy who had their fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese benedict and their cinnamon roll with house made glaze pancake and it looked exceptionally good. I added it to my list of places to go, and finally got around to it. After going and trying that exact benedict, it's been on my mind constantly and I cannot wait to go back for more. When we arrived, there was a line (per usual), but they took down our name and number, and texted us when they were ready which gave us some time to explore the area on a walk. As the hostess walked us to our seats, I realized that the inside is so much bigger than the outside leads it on to be. The noise level was moderate despite it being so packed. Our waitress was kind and attentive throughout our entire time there. I obviously went in knowing what I wanted which helped us get our food a lot quicker. The first bite of the benedict was exactly what I imagined it to be - savory, sweet, salty, and creamy. I would have probably never picked this dish without having watched that video because the texture of prosciutto turns me off a bit, but when it's crispy, it's a game changer. The fig jam provides that sweet contrast but its not overpowering. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was good. I wasn't a huge fan of the homefries but it didn't bother me. My friend ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries and toast and it was also good, with a generous amount of bacon. Recently met a friend at The Cozy Grill and we had a wonderful meal. I was a little thrown off by the parking at first, but it was just because I came in from the back side. The lot is tight, but it was a weekday, so we were able to find a spot without a problem. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. They have an impressive lineup of benedict's, definitely way more options than you'll usually see. I always order corn beef hash at breakfast spots, it's my benchmarks. I ordered the Portuguese Benedict as that is not something I have near me at home in Florida. It was soo good. The Pork Sausage was much better than Taylor Pork Roll sausage. The poached egg was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were cooked and had some color to them which Ioved. If I lived nearby Inwould make this a breakfast place routine. The restaurant was suggested by an Elite Yelper and he didn't disappoint. We arrived and we were seated as soon as we walked through the door. The dining room attendant offered us their speciality coffee for the day which was the blueberry cobbler and it was absolutley delicious. Mark, another attendant who was Super Amazing came over and took our order. I had the pastrami omelet, sourdough toast with potatoes and my girlfriend had scrambled eggs sourdough toast with the potatoes and I must say that the food was worth every dime we spent. We enjoyed both the food and the service. My girlfriend enjoy her food so much that she went back the next day with some other friends and tried the corned beef hash omelet and said it was one of the best tasting omelets that she's ever had. I for one love a place that you can see reinvest back in it's business - and everytime I go to Cozy, something is new - in a good way! Between the decorations, the seating, the parking lot, the chairs outside, the shade - etc. I know who Auntie Mary is now - never got her name before, but always enjoyed seeing her face and her energy, The wait on Labor Day was maybe 25 minutes. We took our buzzer and went to the Cozy gift shop right next door. Did some shopping, got a bracelet I'm obsessed with... and went back just as we were buzzed. I got the Portuguese Benedict's. They were excellent - though I wish the meat was a little spicier. With the sweet French toast it sort of overpowered the chorizo. My sister got the Irish and we ended up splitting - except my half of that was taken to go and gobbled up later that evening as leftovers. I don't go often - living alllllll the way in North Providence now. But it was a treat for the long weekend. And the new gift shop was a nice distraction while waiting. read more

I got lucky and found the place as I flew in to Providence and was lucky enough to find it again heading back to the airport. I can't find a better place to eat close distance to the airport than this restaurant. On a weekend it's crowded, but there is no way that you sit at the counter, which is what I did. I have frequented this place many times over the years. This was my first bad experience. Arrived at 9 am and sat at counter. I was totally ignored till 9:10. There were only 3 guests at the counter including myself. I finally was given a menu and ordered at 9:15. At 9:45 I asked the waitress if my order would be up soon. I was curtly told it would be out soon. At 9:50 my food arrived 35 minutes later. Toast was unbuttered and cold Sausage was also cold. So disappointed.
