Had an easy time printing some forms and a return label here! All I had to do was email them the documents and the printed each one in B&W for 50¢ a page. I did have to go to the back to help the front desk employee use their computer and pull up my email, but it kind of made me feel good in the process. I have been going here for 7 years unfortunately, because it is the UPS Access point for my neighborhood. The male who works here is EXTREMELY slow. I don't understand why he is so confused by his job every single day. The first time I went there, I thought it was because it was his first day at the job. However, seven years later, he STILL struggles to do his job every day. He struggles with everything. He does the same thing every day and yet picking up one package takes 10-15 minutes. Not because there is a line - because he just fumbles and flusters to do the simplest thing. This is how the process should work: Customer - I'm here to pick up a package. Here is my ID with my name or UPS tag number with my ID Him - Ok let's look up your package, I found it. Let me just scan this into the system. You're good to go - here's your package. This is how it actually goes: Customer - I'm here to pick up a package. Here is my ID with my name or UPS tag number with my ID Him - Oh. What number? What name? Where is your package? Me - Here's my name on your list. It's this number Him - oh. ok let me see if I can find your package Me - I can see my package right here - I'm pretty sure this is it right behind you Him - Don't rush me! I have to look and find your package! Don't rush me. I'm working Me - ok - but I'm pretty sure that's my package in the orange packaging Him - Wait! I have to look. You're making me flustered Him - Looks at the orange packaging, realizes I am right. Then brings it over to the desk. Forgets my name and the number. Fumbles in his book again trying to figure out what he was doing. Me - Reminds him what my name is and what number Him - so confused. WAIT. I'm looking. I have to do my job Me - you're not doing anything. just scan the package in so that I can leave Him - WAIT! This is a hard job. I have to figure out what to do next Me - waiting.. waiting.. Him - fumbling around. not scanning the package. very confused about everything. I don't understand.. what is he confused about? WHY does it take so long? read more

I have a poor experience almost every time I go to Alberto's print shop. It is the UPS pick up point for my neighborhood. Their hours of business are EXTREMELY limited to be a UPS pick up point. They are only open from 10am - 6pm during the week and 10am to 3pm on Saturday (closed on Sundays). If I am not home during the day to answer the door for my package what is the likelihood that I can make it there between 10am and 6pm to pick it up from Alberto's?? I have arranged to leave work early before and have waited up to 30 mins to receive my package because there is always a line around 5:30pm and they are SO SLOW. They don't seem to know what they are doing even though they do it every day (this is especially true for the male who works there). Although I have been constantly annoyed by having to deal with Alberto's semi regularly, today I had an especially awful experience. I took time out of my work day to pick up a package before leaving for vacation. I got to Alberto's around 10:30am and even though all the lights were on and the open sign was facing the street the door was locked!! I tried banging on the door but no one answered. If I wasn't forced to use Alberto's by UPS I would never return here. I am also going to try and file a complaint with UPS that this shop should not be used as a UPS pick point. read more

Great printing service! Fast and reliable! Around x10 times cheaper than a different printing service that I visited earlier.

Horrible experience nearly every time my packages have the misfortune to be delivered to Alberto's UPS drop-off point, which is unfortunately the closest to my house. 1. During the fires two years ago I called to see if my N95 masks had arrived while I was sick at home with a fever. They checked my name and told me over the phone that yes they'd arrived. When I arrived after a 10-min walk in unbreathable air, they said "Sorry we don't have them." 2. Once a package was delayed and I was out of them when it was delivered. I called UPS and they asked Alberto's on a 3-way call if he could hold it 3 days beyond the normal 7-day holding period, which they are required to do if asked. The man on the phone started screaming and saying he would only hold my package if I paid him a bribe when I arrived to pick them up and hung up on us. I probably spent 3+ hours trying to track down my package after that. 3. They refuse to give any receipts or tracking info and the latest thing that I shipped back to the vendor through them never arrived back to its destination. I think it's worth walking the extra 10 min to find a safer, more professional place to ship and receive packages. read more

Everyone here is nice, and I really appreciate that. I'm sure that the printing is also excellent. I don't want to discourage anyone from using the print shop here. They are VERY NICE PEOPLE. But if your hours are 10-6 weekdays, 10-3 Saturday and nothing on Sunday, you should NOT be running a UPS ACCESS POINT. The purpose of a UPS Access Point is for people who aren't home during the daytime and don't have a partner at home during the daytime to be able to pick up their packages from a safe location. If you're at work until 5 or 6 and take public transport, you're hosed. You can either pick up your stuff on Saturday morning (they're not always open till 3, sometimes they close at 1) or you can take time off work. Or you can have UPS deliver it somewhere else, but sometimes they can't because the person who mailed it was not thinking about the logistics of big city life and put some ridiculous restriction on it. read more

UPS drops packages here as an Access Point even though it has very limited and inconvenient hours and the people behind the counter seem to barely understand what they are doing or their own bookkeeping system (which is all in handwritten notebooks). They refused to give me a package because my partner and I have different last names; they claimed it was UPS policy that I could not pick up the package. Called UPS and confirmed that this is NOT the policy--it was enough that we have matching addresses. Then why my partner went to pick up the package they told her it had already been picked up! This place is truly incompetent. read more

I have had my packages dropped here plenty of times and haven't encountered an issue. I appreciate there being an UPS Access Point location close enough to where I live because I used to go a bit further out when I didn't have my packages delivered straight to my home (if you have problems with the hours at this Access Point, get it delivered to your home then!!) The owners are nice and understanding-which is a big plus. Love the customer service!! read more

We've used them for a couple years now. I've been very happy with the service. Granted, the hours are not the best and parking is terrible, but if you live close by and can walk there or park a block away, its great. I like being able to support a small business in my neighborhood. They are good people and I have never had trouble picking up my packages. read more

The woman who works here is very nice and it's easy to drop off packages (UPS). The downside is that 2/3 times I've dropped off packages there have been some technical issues where their WiFi doesn't seem to be working and I don't get a confirmation email from them, so you're kind of operating on trust. But I've never had any issues. They're also great for printing in a pinch. But mighty expensive (30 cents for a single b&w sheet ) read more

Very poor customer service. First off now sure why UPS is sending my packager there in the first place. The deliver slip says to call and verifies if the package is there. The person who answered did not speak English, the second call person said to wait. So I did for 30 minutes as I worked on other things. No one ever acknowledged me or got back to me. I hung up and called back then the message said "the mobile customer is no longer taking calls" . Never go there if you can avoid it. read more

i desperately needed to photocopy some pages from a hebrew book for a boy that i tutor, and i swear i see a million copy places every single day, but when i needed to make copies the other day, it was like they had all disappeared! i was in the mission and a friend told me that there might be something on mission and 20th street. annoyed, i trekked down mission street on a hot sunny day and finally saw this little hole in the wall with a bunch of spanish in the windows and awning. COPIAS! i was so relieved! alberto's is a little printing shop, not even a copy store really, although they were more than adequate in fulfilling my request for 23 copies of hebrew writing assignments. they were very nice and very inexpensive! yay! if i ever need copias again in the mission, i will keep this place in mind, though i had to use a good amount of spanish in here to ask for what i needed...always room for more practice! read more

I live 2 blocks away from Alberto's but without Elizabeth O's review, I would never have spotted it. You won't come back for the decor, which is bare bones / no frills, but the people are nice, the service is fast, and the price is right. read more

Consumer beware, they do orders cheaply and don't correct them. I ordered business card from them and gave them an old card to be the sample of the card I wanted. I told them I wanted exactly the same card same thickness, same letters, same colors etc. They gave me a price and they said they could do exactly the same but not embossed, I agreed about the not embossed part. When I got them they were a lot thinner, and different color. They refused to re-do them or give me my money back. read more
