What a great surprise, Albert's Tree Service took out a very tall liquid amber tree growing too close to the house, and also ground out the tree stump and roots. They were VERY careful and made sure that nothing on or abound the house and surrounding areas were damaged. They also laceworked a giant Chinese Elm leaving it beautiful and airy, taking off all the limbs that were hanging on the roof. Alberts price is reasonable but as far as with response time it is very very delayed. Job finished on 4/5/18. Asked for a receipt that day and he said it will be emailed within a couple of hours. Took 5 days to receive with text reminders. He was going to remove some vines on the side for free and would take care of on 4/6/18 8 am.... Never happened! I would not be using them ever! No show! I have arranged to work from home because Albert gave me a time range between 1 and 3. Nobody showed up between 1 and 3. When I called sometime after 3, he said someone should be there at 3:30. He told me to call him if nobody showed up at 3:40. Nobody showed up so I called Albert again. He told me that he would call the guy and would call me back. He didn't call me back. I called him to find out what's going on, but I got his voice mail. It was a waste of time. read more

Even though I ended up hiring another tree service, I would definitely recommend giving Albert's a call for an estimate. I just got lucky and got fair estimates from two companies with really friendly, knowledgeable representatives, but could only hire one. I would not waste your time contacting this tree company. They acted like they didn't want or need my business. I called Albert multiple times and left a message, but I only got in contact with him when I called again and he answered the phone. We set up a time for him to come to my house and give me an estimate. I waited around for him that day and he never showed up. When I called him, he actually answered and told me his father was supposed to go out and do the estimate and he was going to call his father to see what happened. Albert said he would call me back in 5 minutes. He never called me back, so I called him. He answered the phone and immediately hung up on me. I tried calling him back and he never picked up the phone. I mean, if you don't need my business, just tell me, stop giving me the run around and avoiding my phone calls. This is the second time we've used Albert's Tree Service. Their quotes are reasonable, they are very knowledgeable, prompt and they do a great job. They also do a great job of cleaning up when they are done. We will use them again in the future. A few years ago they trimmed a huge Live Oak Tree in our back yard and did it safely, making sure falling limbs did not damage any of our neighbors property (the tree limbs hung over 3 other neighbor's yards). I needed a 40+ year old tree trimmed away from the house and power lines. Found Albert's Tree Service online and called Albert. He came over to give an estimate the same day. A few days later he came out and trimmed our tree to perfection. He was able to work around two power lines and a Fios Internet line right under the tree. His estimate was more than reasonable. I really hate leaving a bad review because Albert seemed very professional and responded quickly to my messages at first. But originally Albert gave me a qoute to trim a tree in my front yard as well as to remove and plant another tree. After he gave us the qoute he was able to trim and remove the trees the same day on Saturday but was not able to plant the tree I chose since the nursery did not have the color I wanted. Not a big deal. So Albert said he will return on Wednesday to plant the tree... Wednesday came and no call or message informing me that he was not coming. I messaged Albert on Thursday to find out what happened and he stated he got busy but will come on Friday. Early Friday morning came and I decided I wanted to switch the color of the tree. I notified him early in the morning hoping he didn't already pick up the original tree color from the nursery. Well Friday came and gone and still no message or call. I messaged Albert on Saturday extremely upset because he hasn't been contacting me or responding to my messages. He finally got ahold of me and stated he didn't come on Friday because he already got the original tree and didn't have time to go back to exchange it. To me that isn't a good excuse. If he did indeed have that tree he should have contacted me about the situation and I would have just stuck with the original tree. Instead he decided to inconvenience me and had me stay home waiting for them to arrive with my tree. After expressing my concerns, Albert decided to lower the price he originally gave me to make up for the inconvenience and said he will be there on Monday. Well..... He was a no show on Monday. I have tried contacting him and he is now ignoring my messages. What upsets me the most is that he was not contacted me. I'm a very reasonable person, I understood that on Wednesday they got busy and couldn't make it. And if he would have contacted me on Friday telling me he got the original tree color I would have been ok with it. But to not contact me at all and having me wait for him to come plant the tree.... To me that is not being professional . I chose to deal with Albert because I saw all the positive reviews, now I regret doing business with Albert. We had Albert out to quote a small job, just trimming our queen palm. He gave us a quote and we agreed for him to come back in 3 weeks to do the job. We called a couple of days before to confirm we were still on for that day and he confirmed. The day came and no Albert. Thirty minutes after the agreed time we called and were told that he was not with the crew but he would call us back in a few minutes and let us know when they could get there. Never heard from him and finally later in the day, we called another service. Hoping this one is better. No recommendation for this type of poor service. So I read all of the reports on tree services and decided to choose Alberts as they had a good review. Now as for me, I am really kinda picky about how things are done, but since I don't or can't really trim my trees, especially the ones that are really high up, I can't be as (picky). Albert really knows his trees! He could name each one, even by the trunk with no leaves. So that was impressive but I guess if your job is trees, you really should know what is what. The truck showed up on time (that's a plus for me) and the guys started working. I saw a little horse play but that's fine with me as they are being paid by the job. (I have 5 cameras outside and can watch them from work or on my phone.) They were there from 8:30AM to 6PM. Albert said they would be done around 5. Well, not only did they leave at 6 PM but they were only half finished. They did not say anything about coming back the next day (a little knock on the door would have been nice) but I figured they were coming back. They were there again at 8:30 the next day. Finished about 12 PM this time. Cleaned up the yard (although not to my standards, but mostly clean) and asked my wife for payment. Of course I was not home to pay them so she told them to come back later. Albert called later and asked if everything looked OK, and I said yes "except" when I was walking back in the house I noticed there was some damage to the house siding. I told Albert and he wanted to know if I wanted to deduct a little from the payment. I said I would rather have it fixed and it was an easy fix and I had the materials. He sent his dad out to look at it. His dad said he would be back tomorrow as they were doing another job down the street. I gave him payment in full as I figured they did do a lot of work and probably deserved it. Well, its been over a week and still not fixed! I let it go for a couple of days because it got really hot for the next several days (hottest its been all year really) but cooler now after 8 days. I gave them 4 stars because of that incident. If it was fixed or the damaged never happened they would have gotten 5 stars! Also I wanted to use them again on a much larger job at another house, but I might go elsewhere and try someone new......... read more

Wow, I can't say enough good things about Albert and his team. We had a 100 year old tree fall into my front yard and they were there in less than 45 mins! It looked like we had been hit by a tornado and by the time they were finished, you could hardly tell that anything had happened. One of the crew members had to climb about 75 feet (maybe even higher) to access another large branch that had broken only partially and needed to be cut down to avoid any other damage.
