A beautifully put together PROM corsage by Erica (with NO Notice). One of a kind design *5-stars* WOW! Just $6.99?!

This review is for Erica (Floral Dept): With NO Notice, my son decided he needed to either make or buy a corsage for his Prom date (with 2hrs to spare). I was stressed, he was clueless. I was hoping that Albertsons (has refrigerated flowers) might have a solution... Erica was in the process of whipping up a corsage for someone else and wow! I was hesitant, but asked IF there was ANY chance she could throw something together for us. Erica EXCEEDED any/all expectations. She was pleasant and welcoming. Erica asked us a couple questions about colors and put together a corsage that is absolutely PERFECT (in record time)! No boring baby's breathe, Erica is intuitive (based in previous questions) and knew that an original piece would be most appreciated. Well done! 5-star customer service. Wow, just Wow. Erica saved the day!!!

Albertsons is the place to go for your deli munchies. There is fried and grilled chicken by the pound which is the best you can get in Ashland. Not any chicken joints in the area. I get chicken wings for 6.99 that match and imo would are better than BWW for the price and quality . Definitely a better option than heating up frozen Tyson chicken products in the microwave. Albertsons is also the least expensive place to shop for groceries in Ashland but you can still save a bunch of money just by driving to Medford to winco, food 4 less etc. Do try coming here for they're deli which consists of fresh chicken, pasta salads, baked breads, and grilled/ cold 4.99 paninis with premium deli cheese and meat, that demolish the subway next door. Not a bad option for lunch and not far off from I-5.

On the other side of the coin, whomever in the store is in charge of pricing seems to be out of touch in some areas. For example, last week a bunch of celery was $5 while at Medford Food Co-op the organic celery was $3 a bunch and looked gorgeous. Tasted gorgeous, too. Since HerbPharm was sold a couple of years ago, their prices have increased SIGNIFICANTLY -- almost doubling with some products. One of those products is Valerian 4 ounce bottles. Last summer I used to pay around $30 a bottle. Right now at Shop 'n Kart that same bottle is $47.99. No way. Needless to say, I did not purchase it there. I checked on Amazon where the price was less expensive but I thought I could still do better I went to Medford Food Co-op and found the exact thing I was looking for. The Wednesday wellness discount of 10% plus my $5 owner discount brought the price per bottle down to a little over $30. BIG improvement!!! I purchased three bottles and did the rest of my shopping in the store. When I encounter price gouging like what I described earlier in this review, it causes me to leave the store and do the rest of my shopping elsewhere. When I do that, I usually find I can get what I want at a better price overall. Jes sayin' ...

I've been visiting this spot since I first moved to Ashland in 2022, but I'm disappointed to say…read moreI've noticed a steady decline in meat quality over that time. Speaking, the brisket in the Banh Mi was unfortunately tough and lacked the tenderness you'd expect from a properly smoked or braised cut. It had the distinct texture of a pre-packaged Sysco-style product, or perhaps it was a cold portion reheated on a flat top without being properly rehydrated, leaving it dry and chewy. I understand that protein carries a high food cost, especially in the current market. However, a more effective approach might be to balance the menu engineering by leaning on lower food cost items, like seasonal sides or creative vegetarian options, to offset the expense of sourcing and correctly preparing higher-end brisket. This would allow for a better product that justifies its price point, covers its own cost, and ultimately helps the company's bottom line while maintaining the quality standards this town deserves. I'd love to see a return to the quality I experienced a few years ago. All and all, despite the brisket. The service was kind and friendly.

Our favorite Italian beef sandwich spot closed down a few years ago. This place is strictly outdoor seating but they have fans and shading for the warmer weather and heaters for the cooler weather. We got there within an hour of opening and wasnt very busy but the crowds did come and go in waves. Assuming this place is very busy during the week as its across from the College. The sandwich was delicious. Nice crusty bread that holds up to the meat and au jus dip thats by default served on the side. Comes with a bag of regular salted chips and a pickle. Meat quantity wasnt thin or alternately packed but it was tasty. The giardinnera was SPICY but flavorful. Next time will absolutely ask for the sandwich to be dipped (you can also get cheese but why? And I love cheese... but no) We paired our sandwiches with a beer and enjoyed the people watching. They get a wide array of clientele. Will be back!
