This is the smaller of the two SF Supermarkets on Spring Mountain Road located in a strip mall with a bunch of restaurants. Parking can be hectic but they have extra parking in a parking structure in the back. There is a small restaurant inside the supermarket called Big Dan Shanxi Taste which is usually very busy because they serve some uncommon specialty dishes that are not found in other places. Although this supermarket is not very big, it has most of the things I need. I like to come here because it is usually clean and does not have the funky Asian supermarket smell. The aisles are reasonably wide and easy to navigate. Their produce is of pretty good quality. And for the same items, their prices are very competitive. Yelp Review 2025 #102: We have quite a few Asian supermarkets in town. There are two SF Supermarket locations in Chinatown. This one is located in a busy strip mall in a 2-storey building. The times I've been here, it always feels old, cramped, messy with a slight funk like a bodega. But they have my favorite Asian snacks, drinks and produce. They even have the bottled jasmine tea I would get from vending machines in China that I can't find at other Asian stores. They have bags of Thai tea a third of the price Amazon would charge you for. Candy, chocolate, chips, cookies, rice crackers, tea in different varieties and forms, condiments, cooking supplies, juices, alcoholic beverages, fresh/ canned/ frozen/ dried fruits and vegetables, fish, seafood, meats, noodles, rice, buns, ice cream, health and beauty products, etc. from all Asian countries. SF market has everything we usually need for groceries. There are a few more stores we go to has we mainly eat many soups and Asian dishes at home during the week as well. This place gets busy, but it's clean inside. Parking can sometimes be an issue though. read more

It's Sunday the 28th of July at about 1:00pm. The small parking lot is close to being full. There is additional parking. The lot is clean and while busy, there wasn't shopping carts all over the parking lot. I like this Asian market because it's not too large, yet it has most everything I like. Fresh sea food, fresh fruits and vegetables, and spirts. The is a little restaurant inside too. I find that prices are fair. The staff , I found was not very friendly. It's a good thing that the layout of the store is good, making finding everything easy. There was a homeless guy at the door asking for money as you enter and exit. Awhile back the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) area supermarkets did not have Auntie Liu's peanuts in stock at all. There are only a few markets that carry this brand of peanuts. Well, I'm not much of a peanut fan, but my brother is. I was in Las Vegas, NV, for one night. My Mom calls and ask me to check some Asian markets for these peanuts. I drove by a few Asian markets and somehow my intuition says this SF Supermarket. Guess what? I found them peanuts. I bought pretty much all that was there... all 24 of them LOL. I did leave them 5 bags though. My Mom got on my case because I didn't get the remaining 5 bags. I said Mom be grateful we got 24 bags. Anyway, they cost about $0.50 cheaper than SGV Auntie Liu's. Thank you LV SF Supermarket for coming through! I didn't really pay attention to the inside of market because my goal was peanuts. I just went straight to that aisle. Can't comment much about cleaniness. Staff was okay. Price on peanuts was definitely a plus. Nothing odd stood out for me though, otherwise, I would have remembered. So assume it's just another Asian supermarket and things are in order. P.S. A couple weeks later, SF Supermarket in San Sabriel carried them peanuts again at an even higher price $3.99 per bag. Honestly, as an Asian dude, I rarely goto an Asian market, but once in a while when I'm visiting Las Vegas, I like to visit the local supermarket called - SF Market to buy some items (mainly fruit). What kinda fruit items am I talkin' about - like plums, nectarines, & peaches, as they are quite expensive in da 808, so if I happened to be on the continental United States, I'd figure I mine as well take advantage of visiting a Supermarket. Located on the corner of Decatur & Spring Mountain Road.............SF Supermarket is located in the heart of the Chinatown strip in Las Vegas. SF Supermarket is pretty big...........if fact I think it's even bigger then the 99 Ranch Market which just down the road from this supermarket. The store features Asian themed dry goods, fresh seafood & meats, and of course fresh produce. I pretty much lucked out the day I came here, as they had a good price on black plums..........and considering it wasn't quite plum season yet, I was happy I was able to pick up a few to eat at a great price. SF Supermarket is well organized, and clean. If you're looking for a specific Asian item, I'm sure this store will probably have it. read more

To prepare for tomorrow's next Yelp vegan voyage cooking zoom I came to get my ingredients. They had everything except arugula but I substituted with another lettuce. Typical Asian market. The name tags were not always in place or correct and it is little messy here and there. But veggies are cheaper than Walmart and I needed some specific Chinese vegetables so this was the spot to be. I am bilingual and they could not understand what I was asking for and looked at me confused and as a loyal customer I always come here and order fresh cut fillets of tilapia and never had a problem and today the guy working the seafood deli was trying to package the raw fish in a bag w a price and not provide proper customer service. We don't always have to go out, so I suggested we just stay in, I'll cook dinner, and we'll see a flick via Red Box(We watched Maleficent) or Netflix. Wifey was all for it! Seafood was her suggestion, so I suggested Mussels and Shrimp because these were quick, easy, and cook in no time. I can't believe the cheap prices we have here for seafood(and we're in the desert!?!?) Mussels were only $2.99/pound(had to get two pounds), and huge head-on Shrimp was $7.99. One pound was plentiful for two people. Got a baguette for a buck at nearby Dakao, and I was set....Our entrees for the evening were Shrimp with Chili-Garlic Butter and Steamed Mussels with White Wine, Butter, Shallots, Garlic, and Parsley which was done in 20 minutes and I think it took longer for the crostini to toast up in the oven! Great selections and prices here ($20 for a feast for two!) for what you would pay double or maybe even triple for at any seafood restaurant! Heads up.... Great location near the corner of Spring Mountain and Decatur, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a good selection of hard-to-find goods... when they're actually in stock. Shopping at SF Supermarket sometimes feels like an exercise in post-apocalyptic commerce when you come in to find the thing you're looking for and bought there a while back and its place on the shelf is totally empty for two weeks. If their supply chain was more consistent and I hadn't purchased in-date spoiled milk from them more than once, I'd be able to do most of my shopping here. It's still a good place to visit for an unfussy trip when you need ten dollars' worth of items Smith's won't carry. read more

Inflation went up by 6-7%. This store raised a lot of their product by more than 100%. For example, the price of Golden Mountain seasoning sauce was less than $1.80 the last time I bought it. Today, it is $4. Seriously? This is clearly price gouching and greed. Practically everything in the store have gone up astronomically. Sad! I went on Weee! (SayWeee.com) to order now. Not too far from the Strip. About 10-15 minute bus ride. HUGE store!! Haven't traveled through the whole Chinatown (not sure where it begins and where it ends), but this store is the first store we went to. There's lots to choose from. Shelves and shelves of teas and spices and snacks. They have tanks of different kinds of seafood, like crabs and tilapia. The prices are ok. Wish we could bring a lot of things back home but we couldn't take it on the plane, especially the fruits. There were loads of people there shopping, so it must be a good place to be. After going to most of the Asian markets on Spring mountain. I've found that this is the best and my first stop for any vegetables I may need. It has the freshest selection, and the best pricing. very rarely are they out of what I'm looking for. This last time it was green papaya, but they had everything else I was shopping for that day. I love getting the fresh dill here. Its so green and fragrant, the bean sprouts are so fresh and crisp and all the herbs are plentiful. Any store that sells fresh seafood is gonna smell. And this one is no exception, but its not too overpowering of a smell. I find that the fresh meat counter has good pricing too, I usually buy ground pork here. Stopped in here to get some snacks and some frozen dumplings for when the midnight hunger hits. This is no different than those Asian grocery stores in Orange County, except this one seems to smell more especially in the seafood department. It got so bad that I actually gagged while walking through that area and had to quickly make a beeline for the front door. They have all the Asian goodies you would need so if you're just stocking up regular stuff, this place suffices! Frozen section wasn't so great, but they had the dumplings we wanted so we were happy. SF Supermarket, Inc. has become my place to go for all my Asian groceries after moving to Las Vegas. Sure, there's a 99 Ranch here, but the service totally blows there! Of course, things are generally a bit more expensive being in the desert and all, but for the most part, I can find my fruits and veggies here at a much cheaper price than the average Albertsons or Vons. They could definitely use some improvements in the dish, silverware, kitchen utensils department as they are seriously lacking. But I guess you really shop here for the groceries and not for the kitchenware. Anyhow, you'll find me here on a weekly basis doing my grocery shopping! I was so excited to finally shop here. Being a vegetarian, the minute I walked in the strong smell of fish took me back. Now im not bein inconsiderate of meat eaters at all, im just puttin it out there. Huge selection of fresh fish seafood snails etc. also a large selection of frozen as well. I like all the asain sauces and spices. I also got sum soup spoons tea cups, reminded me of living in Hawaii. Also they have a large selection of liquor and cold beer. Thanks to this opening, helped bring the valley's asian market's prices down a bit to be competitive to even LA prices (now no more filled to the brim cars on the trip back from LA) haha similar to SF's in california, with smaller shops in the front of the store, this SF provides a super wide range of products that fits most needs. Prices are great, huge meat and seafood area in the back of the store, as well as a variety of types and sizes of any rice you'd probably want (my preference is the 3 deer or 3 ladies rice) One of the 2 places i'd go to for most of my asian grocery shopping needs ! read more

This is a great place to shop for any kinds of noodles you want. They do have a variety. I was looking for rice vermicelli to make spring rolls and they had a variety but not the brand I used to get from VA. They also had a huge selection of rice paper in different sizes as well. Checked out their vegetables and in my opinion don't compare to the 99 ranch down the road, which is fresher and less expensive depending on what you get. But I have to say SF does have more of a selection of vegetables and their mints are sold by the bunch at 1.99. They also have a small eatery inside the supermarket, which was closed so I could see what they sold there but will come back to see at another time. read more

SF market is where we do all our asian food grocery shopping. Located in the heart of chinatown although far from our house, we dont mind the drive one bit. Alot bigger than ranch 99 and way more stuff, ranging from seafood to vegetables I love how easy it is to find parking unlike some other asian market. We love to come get our vegetables and fruits here, whatever you are looking for they have it all. Bitter melon, bok choy, dragon fruit, jack fruit, papaya, asian pear, logan fruit, lychee, and more! Its also affordable compare to other asian market, for 100 bucks I could fill my cart up no problem with healthy stuff, try doing that at albertson haha. The seafood selection is huge, fresh cat fish, tilapia, dungeoness crab, stone crab, and sometimes lobster. Sf now has a small food court right inside, the food is ok nothing to write about haha typical fast food chinese. But the roast whole duck is good, and somtimes if im lucky there's chicken feet and cow tongue marinated in some hot sauce haha read more

Have you been to the recently opened Asian Market?! "Which one,!" was my response to my friend when he mentioned that there is another one. I had to make sure since the Asian population has grown much larger in the past decade. I finally understood after explaining to him that there are 2 SF Supermarket that are within walking distance from each other. This particular location is much smaller but they have a decent selection of Asian products with more emphasis on Vietnamese and Chinese. The customer service at most times is great and easy to locate items. However, they could improve with their selection of produce, sometimes it looks fresh and other times it looks old and spoiled but it could be a lack of staff up keep with this particular section. My family and I, frequent this market when we need Vietnamese products and they tend to have whatever we need to prepare Vietnamese dishes. Especially having lived in San Jose, California in my younger years and exposure to Vietnamese culture is ingrained in my life even though I'm Filipino. Overall, decent Asian store but with limited parking especially on the weekends and late afternoon hours on the week days. I always get confused with this location and the larger location. They don't make it easy for a dedicated yelper to check in! However, this is the smaller location. As small as they are, I felt that the produce here was a step above Greenland - definitely fresher. Though, some items were not that great - some produce were bruised and wilted, such as the napa cabbage and the spinach. I ended up grabbing these items from Von's. Other than that, I was able to get the majority of my produce here. I also grabbed a few a Vietnamese essentials such as nuoc mam (3 crabs brand fish sauce), cha lua (pork loaf), lap suong (California brand chinese sausage), dried shrimp, and other miscellaneous items. The produce is a bargain price and their dry goods are a little pricey. But I wouldn't say it's out of the ordinary from any other asian market. I just love that they carry the Vietnamese ingredients that I use on the day to day basis. read more

I remember first walking into this SF a year or so ago. I was floored at how big and clean it was. One year on, this place is still my go-to Asian market but I have to say it's gotten a lot less clean. My husband won't come in as he thinks it smells suspect. So he makes me do his bidding. The produce section here is incredible. Lots of everyday vegetables/fruit as well as Asian goodies. If you need 6 different types of Vietnamese mint....this place has it. Every green leafy vegetable is available here. They have lotus root (packaged and cleaned as well as right from the ground), Asian eggplant, lemongrass, shredded green papaya, galangal, pomelos, longans, mangosteens and various varieties of Asian pears. I'm here once every couple of weeks stocking up. The place stocks all sorts of dry/fresh noodles, Flat, stringy, bean thread, udon...you name it, you get it. Of course, they have a plethora of Asian spices and sauces (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Thai...I know I'm leaving lots of geographies out). I love that they have an amazing selection of soy products (tofu, beancurd sheets, tofu noodles etc.). Basically, any thing you need to cook yourself up an Asian feast...SF will be there to help you. It also stocks up on cookware and serving utensils (rice cookers, woks, chopsticks, Asian bowls). Best of all, the prices here are extremely reasonable. Cilantro (2 bunches for 98 cents), Spring Onion (4 bunches of 98 cents)...you get the idea. I am thankful to have this SF in town just because it affords me the opportunity to cook Chinese/Southeast Asian food without hunting miles for ingredients. However, I do have a gripe about this SF...the parking lot. There is plenty of parking but apparently people think shopping carts belong in between cars, in parking spots or next to the curbs (not on the curb, but lying next to it). I would be super careful parking here and probably wouldn't dare to leave my car in this lot on a windy day. People: It's not that hard to walk a few steps to deposit your cart where it needs to be!!! read more

A bit cheaper then the other Asian markets. Meats are cheaper by a few cents but the ground beef is a bit more fatty. has cheap lamb meat for hot pot which is great. Don't have good crab meat for sushi. The rice noodle in the packages need to double check for mold before buying them. The veggies are ok here the fruits I skip it normally. read more

I think I'm gonna have to go with Diho, just because they're bigger and therefore have more selection. But SF's selection of meat scraps were impressive. I know where to go for raw beef cankles and chicken feet now. They also have lots of seafood, fresh and frozen. They were fairly organized and uncluttered. There were a few things I couldn't find here. Normally when I go "Asian" shopping, it means I'm Japanese shopping. Their Japanese selection wasn't so great. There's nothing that SF satisfies for me that I can't get at International Marketplace or Diho. Oh, except maybe for the beef cankles. read more
