Came to this location to rent a rug cleaner. When returning it, the employee told me they weren't going to give me my deposit back because of the hair and dirt under the machine. They said they'd only give my deposit back if I remove the hair and dirt. Are you fkn kidding me? So she gave me a pair of scissors and a screwdriver to take out any remaining debris. It's a carpet cleaner, it should be expected that there's dirt and debris in it. It's their job to maintain their devices so I don't see why I had to clean it with my bare ass hands otherwise I wouldn't get my deposit back. read more

The staff is kind and helpful. The prices are meh but they do have a good selection of groceries and they also have good discounts. The store is mostly clean and the self checkouts are quick but can be crowded at times. This is a good Albertsons location if you are nearby. read more

This is a fairly new location. So it's very nice and clean. The layout takes some getting use. Seems like things aren't always where you think they should be. The employees here are all nice and friendly. If you are going to shop here often, I recommend signing up for coupons and getting the app. You can get some great coupons this way!! In the midst of the chaos, they were so accommodating and eager to make their arrangements to the customers' liking. Mountain's Edge has the best Albertsons in the city! We have been waiting for a long time to finally have a grocery store in our area, without having to drive miles to the nearest large market. The layout is great and everything is easy to find. Brenda had exceptional customer service, she was very welcoming and attentive and made my family's visit to the new Albertsons a pleasant one. She was very nice to my little one. Kudos to the management here for hiring cashiers like her that make this location shine above the rest. Great job Albertson's! read more

It all started off badly when my daughter stubbed and cut her big toe on an exposed bolt on a cart rack in the parking lot. The first aid kit had every kind of bandage and band aid, no antiseptic however. This Albertsons is not twenty four hours a day open. That makes it busy after eight pm. They had several cashiers lanes open but no baggers. Each lane had at least four people waiting. Prices can be expensive. They are not carrying my favorite candied chili mango anymore and are lucky I didn't take another star off for that. read more

There's a lot of things I like about this store but my experience goes sideways every time I have to interact with the meat department. Since Albertson's/Vons/Safeway are all essentially the same entity now and the circulars I get in the mail every week feature all these brands, I expect to get the same service I've gotten from Safeway/Von's my entire life. Safeway ALWAYS will custom cut meat for me and the butcher block workers are extremely friendly and helpful. This apparently doesn't hold true at Albertson's. They will NEVER cut anything for me and act annoyed even if I ask them if they have more of an item in the back when there's none left on the shelves. I actually avoid this location when I need to buy meat and hit Vons or a different Albertson's in the area. TBH, the Vons on Durango is not living up to the expectations set by the Safeways I've patronized either but they sure try a lot harder than this store does. I also witnessed the most worthless, annoying employee I've probably seen anywhere at this store. I observed her literally throwing flats of soda onto a bottom shelf, denting cans and damaging packaging. I asked her if they had any more of a Coke product that was on sale. She immediately said "No" without even checking. I was suspicious after observing her dedication to her job so I found another employee who was able to easily run some down for me in the back. Then, as we were trying to check out, the same employee came up and proceeded to get in a five minute argument with the checker who was checking us out while we stood there and watched and had to wait. It took every ounce of self control I had to not just ream her on the spot. I haven't seen her recently so I hope she was fired but this store is accumulating strikes against it with me at an unusually fast rate. read more

July 1st is Canada day and a very special holiday in our home. Three days prior I placed a $29 CUSTOM cake order in which the sheet cake was a very specific order. I was shocked and appalled when I picked up the cake to see they did nothing more than print out a flag on edible paper (not even the whole size of the cake) and slapped it on and had the audacity to pass that off as my custom order. I spoke to the store director practically in tears in front of everyone and still had to pay for this god awful insult to my counties holiday. These stores are pretty boring, they all look the same and sell mostly junk food. My issues with these stores 1 I am constantly being manipulated. The milk and stuff I need for a quick pickup is at the back of the store. Setup the store for convenience, not to try make me buy more stuff 2. It's too expensive...period. compare the prices to trader Joe's. 3 These stores always have long lines. I wait and I wait. Self checkout is a joke. I should get a discount for the work I do. Self checkout is BS. In summary a boring American store, with mediocrity. A globalist solution. Creativity and imagination is devoid in this corporate culture. When a 20 something year-old kid pulls out a CHECKBOOK to pay for a cart full of liquor, that's a red flag. When the kid had to be told how to fill out the check and to initial his corrections, that's a red flag. And then when asked if his correct address was on the check and he says no, that's a red flag and to go through all of this nonsense while you have honest paying customers waiting in line is wrong. One word. Unreal. Never have I gotten my shopping cart with groceries in it stolen or taken by someone while I was away from it. Sounds crazy? It gets better. Fine somebody took it, so.....I'll just get another one from the front and reset my shopping. It happens AGAIN!! Like someone was messing with me. First off, I want to love this store. It is a beautiful well stocked store. I haven't shopped here in a while because it isn't that close to my house, but I've always preferred Albertson's stores to other grocery stores in my area. I heard about a huge sale on meats so I made sure to get over to this store ASAP. While I did love all the store has to offer, I was so upset by the customer service. I had to have interaction with several employees yesterday, but ONLY one of them was helpful and or remotely kind. I encountered employees stocking and blocking areas having personal conversations not willing to move or even acknowledge we were standing there. Meat counter was manned by only one person that was not able to answer or help with anything! I had trouble with the app not giving me the coupon discounts at checkout. Went to customer service and the lady was so rude and impatient. She talked to me with such nastiness and impatience it was shocking. Especially since I watched and heard her speaking to a couple in front of me so kindly and even joking around with them. The moment she looked over at me her entire mood changed and once she heard what I needed her help with she was not interested in helping with the situation. She finally literally gave up helping me and rudely asked someone else to "deal" with me. The man she pushed me off on was nice and did finally help me out (after 30 minutes +). But, either him or the bagger forgot to put one of my bags in the cart. So I get home, start dinner and realize that the entire bag with what I need didn't make it home with me. Frustrated beyond...I call and the man that answered knew exactly who I was and said "Oh yeah you left all your cheese". Well, I didn't bag my groceries, so no, I didn't, but whatever, I just want what I paid for. I send my husband down to pick the lost bag up and he goes to customer service to ask for it and the same crazy rude lady is there and grabs the bag out of the ice cooler and throws it at him! I am not one to ever write a scathing review, but come on. This was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever encountered. I understand a busy store at peak hours, but the absolute attitude for this woman at customer service really put this whole thing over the top for me. read more

Expensive, bad service, questionable staff. First time I went the lines were ridiculous and it was only 9pm. The staff were rude and they didn't seem to have any grooming standards. I ended up throwing in the towel and leaving line after waiting 20min to check out. I was so frustrated. Second time I went back to give them another chance and this time around 11pm. Staff still looked questionable. They were rude and I heard some F-Bombs from them which is super unprofessional. Their attitudes were waaay too casual with customers. The wait time for check out was 20min again. People were pissed and some left the line early. This place is just as bad as their other location on Blue Diamond. Disappointed. Giving two stars only because it's new, clean and the juice and deli are somewhat decent. read more

Although this is a nice clean store, almost every time i take home groceries something is either moldy or expired. Yogurt-always expired. Strawberries- moldy. I got a rotisserie chicken a few weeks ago, cut into it and it was green. This week i got a $5 cherub tomato tub, got about 3 tomatoes in and i see like 3 moldy ones, can't eat those now. Ever ever have had a good experience here. The deli people never acknowledge you, I can stand there forever and they just walk right by you. I try to avoid this store but they have a certain ham I like, otherwise I would never step foot in an albertsons. A few times the cashiers have also messed up, when I had to cancel on 3 different occasions certain items off by bill at the register since I decided I didn't want them. , the cashier would pretend to take the item off and I would pay. After walking away I noticed I ended up paying for the item I didn't want. So I went back to the cashier and she said "oh I don't know how to void an item so I left it on" I was like wtf. Wanted to try this location out because Rainbow & Warm Springs is always so busy in the parking lot. Pros of this location: Fresh Juices, Yum. Starbucks inside. Wasn't so busy & nicer looking shopping karts. Nice selection of fresh flowers. Cons: Red onions all didn't look fresh, all looked old. Seafood department 75% of the seafood looked super frozen and not that fresh. I'd probably only go back to this location if i need to buy flowers and fresh juice. But besides that I will go to other stores like Smiths and Sprouts. read more

I LOVE this Albertsons! Normally I hate going grocery shopping but not anymore. They have an awesome juice/fruit infused water area! They also have a salad bar, it's almost like a Whole Foods. At both entrances they have fresh lemon infused iced water. It's like when you're in this store you don't feel like you're in Las Vegas anymore! They have everything you need! They have a Starbucks next to the pharmacy that looks so modern and nice! I have yet to try it but I definitely will next time! (: And just when I thought this place couldn't get any better... I got sick unexpectedly with a kidney infection, and I couldn't wait to go home but I had to pick up a prescription. The pharmacy at this store is beyond awesome. I'm sad I didn't get their names because the two gentlemen I met yesterday we're just amazing. They got my prescription filled in 10 minutes and they referred to me by my first name many times. And when we were finished the man said, "thank you Tara, have a very nice day!" It's wonderful customer service and that is something special to come by nowadays! read more

Disappointed, put in a request for a "galaxy night cupcake-cake" wanted something real simple - a smooth frosted cake with purple/pink/blue frosting mixed and some sprinkle stars around the edges to look like the night sky. Convenient location. Clean. Mostly over priced products. Digital coupons are annoying. Tedious/time consuming/not worth it. (Smith's is consistently cheaper w/ no coupons if you want to drive 10min. Or WalMart is about 2min away). This Albertson's wi-fi according to cashiers doesn't work. (So how are people supposed to use the digital coupons which take forever to scroll through, btw?)Lame. Other reviewers have stated that customer service is lacking, spot on. I was at Albertsons around May 14th, I went to grab some milk and noticed that most of the sell by dates was May 5th. When checking out I told the cashier, she seemed annoyed at me for bringing up the fact that most of the milk was bad. A few days later, I stopped back by (hey its close to home) and noticed the expired milk was still there! Yuck! Check the produce too people, I've gotten some bad fruit and rotten potatoes too. Everytime I'm there I have never been greeted by the cashier, even when I say hello, I'm met with a blank stare. Same goes for when I'm leaving no goodbye or offer to help with my bags, that's a common courtesy most grocery stores do. So that's about it I'll stick with the Albertsons down on Decatur and Blue Diamond for now, then hopefully the new Wal-Mart will open soon on Rainbow. read more

This Albertsons is always clean and well stocked. The employees are friendly and often greet you with a smile. It is little pricey if you don't use the app, but I've found it fairly comparable to the Walmart grocery section down the street if you do. I had the bakery make a smash cake for my baby's first birthday and it was perfect and very delicious. I asked them to make an Elmo smash cake. I am very impressed as I did order another cake to serve my guest from another bakery but their design of Elmo did not trump what Albertsons bakery did. Here's an update to my review from about a month ago. So today, I visited this location because I needed to pick up 2 things. I now understand why the employee morale sucks at this location. To the manager or supervisor who was disciplining a group of employees near the self checkout exit at around 6pm today (3/25/21). You are the absolute WORST leader. I should know, it's my job to train leaders. The absolute last thing you should EVER DO is discipline your employees in a group in front is customers while blocking the exit of the self checkout area. How would you feel if your boss came out and berated you in front of customers and other co-workers. I would say do better, but I feel as if you don't even know what that looks like. For anyone who is even considering looking for a job, skip this place. From the 2 quick minutes I spent just seeing what I saw, I can tell you with certainty that you will hate this job.
