This location was recommended to me by my hairdresser. I hadn't been in an Albertsons in years, but I was so impressed by the store, its cleanliness, and most importantly their employees. Tanner was so friendly and helpful when I asked him a couple of times where specific items were. Debbie, in the deli was such a sweetheart, so outgoing, and she directed me to an item I am in love with now-the cranberry jalapeno dip with cranberry and pumpkin seed crackers. They are delicious, and I never would have looked at these items without her. I will be using this store from now on, and I will tell my friends about the store. I felt so good being in that store. Management is doing an exellent job! read more

This is my neighborhood grocers. I used to shop elsewhere until I moved to the south side of Dobson Ranch. Glad I switched. Prices are much cheaper and they have better sales. To top it off, the employees are super courteous and fun to chat with! read more

I usually shop at Albertsons as it is close to my house. Employees are very helpful and friendly. One of my issues with this store (mesa on baseline) is items frequently ring up wrong and is a hassle to try to correct. If you even noticed. Requires studying your receipt before leaving the store. Also am wondering if they are trying to compete with Costco...so many sale items require you to buy multiples of the product to get sale price. I don't need that much!! So I pay a pretty high price for one item. Guess I should drive a little farther to Walmart! read more

Since I can't locate the supermarket on Guadalupe and Rural on YELP, I am asking you pass on my YELP review of the above mentioned store. I was sold rotten shrimp today for $ 9.99 a pound. They smelled, were slimy and 2 of them had black rotten tails. You have no right to poison your customers and I will never purchase seafood at your store again and neither will my family members. I have been shopping there for years and everyone is already friendly and professional. Fruit is usually the freshest I can find.

I watched the associate empty the recycling bags from the receptical for shopping bags. And as I was waiting for my prescription, I walked to the back of the building since it is so close to my reflexologist to see what the wait time was for a mani-a-curry or if I could make it for later in the week. Low-and-behold what did I see from the corner of my eye; the same associate dumping the recyclable bags in the garbage dumpster. So tell me what is the use of him dumping them in 1 container than the hundreds of people who recycle their bags? ? But I do give him credit as he did look around first. That changed my whole outlook on Albertsons recyclable program. read more

Wow they made up some policy about dollar amounts being too high because I wanted to exchange a $30 bottle of vitamins for a $15 bottle of vitamins and an even exchange for another flavor of magnesium gummy's...WITH A RECEIPT ... and they said I had to come back when the director, not the two managers that were on site, but when the DIRECTOR was there the next day. I'm boycotting Albertsons... we're talking a net of $15 here , I see why they are struggling to keep up with the frys and other, customer service minded stores. Wow, pathetic display of service. That chicken set up near the deli looks pretty epic. The Albertson's near my work does not have that.

I wish I could give this store 0/5 but it won't let me so it gets one star. I went in here a few times after work and got stuck in line for seriously 15 minutes plus! While talking to another customer in line about sports, movies, the neighborhood and work we eventually touched off on how this store used to be in the past. Apparently there used to be self-checkout stands but they removed them. Removed them? Why on earth? Anyways, having one cashier on the clock and no self-checkout stands is a recipe for disaster and poor customer service. read more

Expired food. I keep going here out of convenience, but I can't even tell you how many times I've seen expired food on the shelf or had to take back spoiled meat. There is no way this grocery store is up to code with meat. The meat section smells rancid. Their berries are often moldy. They sometimes have liquified, decomposed organic boxed lettuce on the shelf. Expired crackers. Expired beer. You name it, they sell it expired. If you work for this location, take a whiff of the refrigerated grates where the organic chicken is and see if you don't wretch from the smell. read more

This place is absolutely ridiculous. The amount of incompetent and untrained staff is mind-boggling. So I went in to do a Western Union Service, sending an inmate funds and the customer service representative at the desk did not know how to do it. Okay, I understand. So the manager was called, the customer service manager. The manager for the service desk was called and she as well did not know how to do it! I waited in line for 30 minutes wow the manager and the associate tried to figure it out. All the while, they took customers that were behind me waiting in line, which kept interrupting the process and delayed me even longer. Finally after the customer service manager. Kimberly H. pulled out a Western Union log book to see how to send money, and 30 minutes of me waiting in the line I decided enough is enough. I don't understand how you can have a service in your store and not be knowledgeable of it. In addition, how a manager of the service desk not know how to send money to an inmate. This is our small chain corner store and, what can I say, I'm glad to have a corner store near our house. Produce is more expensive and less variety than other larger stores around, and they don't quite have everything.But this is the second time now I have run out for something quick at 10 o'clock at night and there is no one at the cash registers! And I have to wait, or yell, and I feel like they must really just want people to walk out with groceries without paying for them? To not staff the front at all! Anyways, it's not like I will stop going here when I need milk at 10 o'clock at night, but I wish they cared enough to attend to people more. read more

I enjoy shopping here and getting my prescriptions filled. The groceries seem cheaper than other places at times. I always go here for hamburger meat, they have a larger package and it's priced well, us poor folk eat a lot of hamburger. lol. The pharmacy is always very fast and they are really nice there. I've tried on many occasions to fill prescriptions at Frys but I always get told it will be between 45 - 60 minutes and once even a 2 hour wait. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes at Albertsons. Always has a good selection and they are working on getting more organic foods which is nice. Oh and I love their fried chicken in the deli. read more
