My rating is on the low end because despite how overworked and understaffed retail pharmacies are, this really could be better. Starting with communication via entering your refill number through the phone system. It simply isn't monitored, it seems like. I will enter it in during the morning, and give a phone call in the afternoon, and the refills won't even be on the technician or pharmacist's radar. Usually they are kind about it, but I have been hung up on after a very long wait. That brings me to my next concern over calling in a new medication or refill and opting to speak to staff. If I'm not hung up on, usually they tell me the medication will be ready "later this afternoon." But it never is. I'll go in person and they're almost surprised that I am there to pick up and then they get started on it. That's better than making me wait an extra day, but I do get an intense headache from the stress. I can look past a lot, when CVS is next door, and Rite Aid used to gas light me about my refills being "too soon." But today I ordered my prescriptions by phone call, and they told me they were "working on two," I asked which ones, and they were ones I picked up two days ago. I asked if the correct two can be picked up. They said again, "we are working on them." I asked when they would be ready they said "after noon." I noticed the meds were actually ready, as I received a text, but it was for the two I have fresh refills for. I went in person hoping the correct meds would be ready by the time I'm in an extremely long line... only to be told my meds I called about this morning were "too soon." Fortunately the tech was willing to listen to me describe how the pick up schedule should not be "too soon" and how I called in the morning and asked, and if they were not able to refill, they should have told me then. She was kind about it, but it gave me a scare (and reminder of Rite Aid) and a terrible headache. I use this pharmacy because CVS doesn't even answer a phone and the staff here for the most part seem compassionate and easy going. But it has potential to be messy like Rite Aid, though. I hope it's a one off. Sav-on, please monitor your message system or tell your staff they need to actively listen to patients over the phone so there are no surprises. An accurate time frame would also help. Again, I regret that you are so overworked. I wish there was a better way for pharmacy staff AND patients. read more

Not really impressed with this pharmacy. The prices are reasonable but they're way understaffed. They take forever to fill a prescription and no matter how nice the staff is it just takes forever to get RX. I used the app and it used to function efficiently but as of late the app is horrible. It takes forever to process a prescription and it won't let you know when it's ready. It can't even figure out its own delivery service. I'm about done with this pharmacy but not real sure where to go and not have the same problems. Fix the app or higher more people. The pharmacy doesn't have the correct hours on the phone. Then when I went at 1pm they wouldn't open up till 115pm... Not then consumers fault but the stores problem with employees. Don't use this pharmacy if you are on limited time. Horrible managing read more

I waited for over an hour for the pharmacy to tell me they didn't have the pain medication my dad needed from an emergency room visit that had been called in 5 hours earlier. Why didn't they report they didn't have it? Why did they make me wait another hour before telling me? Patients are just treated terribly and I won't be going back here. I do not know why the reviews aren't higher. I was with CVS for years and have even posted where the lines were almost to the front registers. I finally had enough and went to the Albertsons/Savon's. What a difference! I have had nothing but great service, they stay on top of things and have even called me with questions on a prescription. I know if it had been CVS they wouldn't have bothered to fill it and wouldn't tell me till I waited in line. I love the pharmacists, I get all of my vaccines there and I cannot recommend it enough. I would recommend anyone with complaints go spend a little time at the CVS pharmacy you'll come running back to Savon. read more

Too slow! It took 20 minutes to check out on a Thursday morning around 10:30. Also, it's hard to get through the aisles with all the workers loading up groceries for the people who wait in their car for pickup. Those workers who are loading up these groceries are unfriendly. read more

This is the Save-on Pharmacy within Albertsons Grocery Store. One of the other reviews is reviewing the grocery part which is another separate Yelp listing I've been getting prescriptions here for about 6 years & they take most insurance They close for lunch because the pharmacist leaves so it's closed about 12 to 130 pm but I don't remember if this is actually the correct time but there are notices posted You can also get COVID vaccines, I got 2 vaccines yesterday Shingles and Pneumonia. The nurse usually gives vaccines but she was off for the weekend so the pharmacist had to do it The first one for shingles really hurt when she jabbed it in & she had trouble with my arm bleeding a lot The right arm got the Pneumonia vaccine next and it didn't hurt this time she was more gentle A few months ago I got my 3rd Moderna there with the nurse & that went well I haven't had any experience with rude staff mentioned by other reviewers I recommend the pharmacy read more

By the far the most dysfunctional pharmacy I had to deal with , incompetent staff ( or understaffed ) tried to call them the whole day with no answer and when I finally got a hold of the technician ( Am ...) she put on me on hold and then hang up, came to Find the prescription that was called out many hours ago is not ready , pharmacist ( Y B )is just argumentative and obviously inexperienced, filling my non narcotic prescription here was a mistake that I will not repeat read more

My wife and I have stated getting our routine vaccinations at this pharmacy because they treat us very well and get things done without delay. As seniors and my wife is is disabled with MS, we get treated very well and we appreciate that. I just got off the phone and it as also a good experience. My doctors office said I needed a flu shot and I thought we have gotten them already. The phone was picked up quickly and she checked both my wife and I and I was mistaken so now we will get a flu shot. read more

I have been a customer of this pharmacy for the past 18 months. The majority of the time the customer service has been good, although at times very slow in having to wait in line due to lack of staffing. However, yesterday a new employee by the name of Gladys was horrible !!! I had received multiple texts my medication was ready and after standing in line for over 25 minutes ill to be waited on she told me the prescription was not there and she could find nothing on it. She offered at no time an apology or any way to help me. Today I called and the pharmacist found the prescription and told me it had been restocked because it is not been picked up on a timely basis. Ok my fault, but why did this employee Gladys not look in the computer and see that instead of looking at me like I was an idiot and offering no empathy or concern at ALL !! I will be taking this to upper management because this is uncalled for, these employees need to recognize they are dealing with people who are ill and be a little bit more helpful. I'm giving it 3 stars because I just picked up a prescription and I was told I couldn't use good rx. Now what pharmacy does this. I love this pharmacy normally but when money is tight and I have a spouse not working, good rx comes in handy. To say I have to pay 27 dollars and not the 13 dollars from good rx is not good business. read more

Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. The MANAGER (big, heavy set guy) was inexplicably rude to me when I (being a visitor to the town and never having been to the store before) asked where to find a grocery cart, he smirked and simply pointed to a few sitting several yards away. When I kind of laughed it off and explained that I was unfamiliar with the layout, he looked over at a coworker with whom he'd been chatting, rolled his eyes and said "whatever". Once in the store I had to ask a stock person where to find a certain item (again, new to the store and now wanting to get the shopping done,) she actually looked at me and walked away. I thought maybe she was going to show me where the item was, but she walked back into the storeroom. Silly me, I waited a few minutes before realizing she wasn't coming back. (Probably standing in the back room laughing at me...) Finally got the few items I needed and decided to use self check in the interest of time. By now I was so annoyed and exasperated that I just wanted to be out of there. When I attempted to run a bottle of wine over the scanner, the woman overseeing the Self Check line came running over, all but flapping her arms and screeching about how alcohol can't be scanned at the Self check. Bellowing about how it's "against the law!". I'm from North Carolina and we can scan beer and wine at the grocery checkout, so I had no idea. How embarrassing...a damn sign would have been helpful... We were staying at a very nice Airb&b in town, but we did not return there for groceries during the duration of our visit. I am never going back. I have been going here for years, but yesterday was the last straw. I knew they were slow, so I made sure my Dr. knew that the prescription needed to be sent over early. They told me it was already called in. Needless to say when I got there (after mouth surgery & needing pain meds), they said they didn't have it. Someone decided they should check the voicemails. After the pharmacist sat on the phone for 10+ minutes taking notes, low & behold they found my prescriptions! However, they were going to lunch & my prescriptions will be ready for pick up in 2 hours! Obviously, they don't have enough help.... but where is the customer care/service??
