I shop at this store all the time. Hubby and I went this morning at 6 am to pick up prime rib roast that is advertised as on sale. Only to find nothing out to buy. The one employee in the meat dept told us that he must prepare all the pre orders first than if any thing is left he will put it out in the floor. Terrible customer service! I am not usually one to write reviews, understanding people are people, and bad days do happen. However, Bebe was about as helpful as a chicken with lips. Backstory: Were out of sale item (Turkey meat). previous checker signed her name and date, so I could get said items for sale price. Fast forward 1 week (yesterday, to be exact). Wait in line, get up to Bebe, hand her the ad sheet, with the signed checker name with sale price. I also had an actual rain check for one other item. She asks why I didn't have a separate rain check for the TM. I explained that I had no idea, that's what the other checker said she could do. Bebe then explained that I need to go back to the meat department, and they will mark it as such. Laughing, I asked if that is policy. She said it sure is! Come on now - I know the grocery industry isn't what it used to be, but since I worked for Albertsons years ago, I highly doubt their company policy is to send the customer back to any department to fix something, that they did. No matter, Bebe wouldn't budge. Rude, and unhelpful too. Great combo! I wish I would have asked if the situation was reversed, if she would do what she is asking me to do. I would never go to the deli again the 2 older women were very rude and this isn't the first time. Overall this store has the friendliest and most hardworking staff. They're one of the many reasons my grandma loves to shop here. But what I saw during my last visit was very disheartening. My grandma and I overheard a man named David (who we think is the main manager of the store) talking down on an employee. We couldn't quite understand what was going on but he was very condescending and rude to his own employee!! So disrespectful and shocking to hear this. It's a shame that management treats them like they don't matter and obviously look down on them. Does Albertson's tolerate this behavior from the people in charge? Is this what they stand for? Yes! Albertsons is opened again! The inside looks the same but they definitely have more choices now. The fresh meat and seafood area so many to choose from. Hot food and salad they have varieties and great deals! Customer service was top notch! The whole store was clean and organized. The prices were good and reasonable. The pharmacy was also opened and customers get $25 when you bring in prescription! They were giving free flowers and cupcakes during the grand opening. This is my local grocery store and i come here all the time and usually the people are nice. Today on Mother's Day the cashier David made me so uncomfortable. I had ordered my Mother's Day flowers PRE PAID online and went to buy a few other items. He insisted i show him the receipt on paying for the flowers and i showed my online receipt and pick up order. He refused to even look at it and kept telling me "we don't don't do online orders we don't do pick up orders" being very aggressive. Until another employee had to come and let him know the store actually DOES do online orders. He should've been aware of the policy and not so aggressive with me. So very distasteful. read more

I want to rate this pharmacy better because the actual pharmacist is really sweet. Unfortunately I have been here a few times and CRYSTAL is always rude to me. She is very "Smart Aleck" type of attitude. Once she was rude to me and when I came back to pick my order up it was never even ordered. Like I said the actual pharmacist is sweet but the one who handles transactions is crystal and I just don't like going to this pharmacy because of her. We no longer have an Albertson's where I live, so this is the closest one to me now since I work in Rancho. I like this location, it's clean and has friendly staff. The Enter/Exit doors are kind of weird though. I like their food and sushi selections. I think they have better prices and quality on their sushi compared to other stores and I always see different food options and meats here that I don't see anywhere else. They staff seems like they joke around with each other which I think is fun since they're all very friendly and have great service. this place has HORRIBLE customer service. everyone is rude and really sarcastic. i have been to this location three times and i will NOT be coming back. the clerk, bookkeeper, and the manger all have a bad attitude. First off the store was extremely slow and I still had to wait about 5mins before the meat cutter knowledge me while he was cleaning, finally greeted me and all I needed was 3 chicken breast. I asked if he could please slice them in half and he said he can't because they were on sale and they are not allowed to do so because they are losing money on the sale. WTH! I was in shock, what horrible customer service! I will NEVER buy meat from this location again. Stater Brothers meat dept is the greatest and most helpful, they'll cut and even season meat for you. I've come to this Albertson's in the past with the same problem ordering my cakes late I work in LA and live in Ontario last time I came in there was a heavyset gentleman with facial hair he was the manager in charge at the moment he took my order knowing that the bakery was closed and said call back in the morning to make sure that your order went through he to me went above and beyond that's a customer services today I came in same situation the shift manager says they close at nine come back at 5 AM to place your order like really you couldn't just take my order ? Saturday we called everywhere looking for White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries for a First Mother's Day Celebration. This is ALL she wanted!!!! Her Father wanted nothing more than to reward his baby girl for her first blessing. And his Grandson. Making this a huge special event! I remembered that Albertsons makes hand-dipped big beautiful tasty chocolate covered strawberries in both white and milk chocolate. We called and were told that they only had the milk chocolate but to come in and make a special order for the white chocolate and they would be ready by noon on Mother's Day Sunday. The order was taken. He was told that he can pay for the strawberries when he came in to pick them up on Mother's Day at Noon. Wouldn't you know........ no white chocolate dipped strawberries!!! We are CRUSHED!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!???? You had ONE JOB!!!!! I've worked in a market before and we had Customer First Managers, that would have pulled a package of white chocolate from the isle; melted it and dipped the strawberries into the chocolate himself!!!!! He was compensated with a free dozen of roses. This was not what we ordered!!!! His daughter didn't have a taste for roses. She had a taste for white chocolate dipped strawberries!!!! I feel bad for recommending Albertson's. He feels like a failure for not for-filling his daughters only wish. I wish I had time to make them myself. I will next time. So very disappointed. read more

Its a fine store to shop at but I tried to get hired here as a florist because it was real convenient and walking distance from where I was- I tried for like a month after being just hung up on constantly because employees there did not know how to transfer calls or something- they would pretend like they were going to get the hiring manager and then just hang up on me- so anyway a month later the only day they would schedule me for an interview was the Thursday of my dad's memorial and no other day so I went straight after even though I was extremely tired and not fully present because of my dad even though they knew this. The hiring lady then called and insisted I started the next day (I think it was Monday) even though I said there was another responsibility related to my dad that day. No planning or schedule given whatsoever. She then condescendingly told me, "Ok, sounds like you really don't actually want to work here, try calling me tomorrow and try again". And I was so broken after that because I made a lot of sacrifices to be there and Of course I didn't want to work there anymore. This was back in April earlier this year. read more

This review is for the bakery. I had a baby shower a few weekends ago and saw a cake online that was perfect for our theme. My aunt had gone to Jose before for a custom cake and he did an awesome job so she recommended that he made my cake. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Not only did it look exactly how I wanted but it tasted amazing and the price was within budget ! The frosting was not heavy at all and the cake was extremely moist. Don't mess with me Albertson's, I Yelp. I searched the whole store to find charcoal only to come up empty handed. So I am in line with someone in front of me and someone behind. I tell the cashier, and she says "oh, it's by the pharmacy" and say, "I don't know where the pharmacy is." So what is her response? With someone standing in line behind me she says, "It's ok, take your time." Even the elderly woman behind me said, 'What? Why didn't they offer to get it for you?" Well, nice elderly woman, I don't know. I got out of line, headed out to find the pharmacy, and then said "screw it!", left my groceries there, walked out and went across the street and went shopping at Fresh and Easy, where I should have went to begin with. read more

I shop at this store weekly and spend $150-200 per week for groceries for me and my family. I liked the store but had a very negative experience that will make me reconsider shopping here again. I purchased a $25 bottle of wine that was spoiled. I brought it back and asked that it be thrown away and exchanged for the same bottle. The night manager on 7/28/20 told me that due to COVID, the store policy is that you cannot exchange or return anything. I think that's a terrible policy. Other grocery stores in the area have policies that state that they do not accept returns unless the product doesn't meet their quality standards. I'm 100% on board with not accepting exchanges for the safety of the staff, but if you're selling rotten or spoiled food/drink items, I think it's the responsibility of the store to make the customer whole. I've never actually returned anything to the store in the previous 3 years shopping there. Also, the manner in which the manager addressed the issue was insulting and poor service. She just deflected and said "That's the store policy. Sorry, I can't help you." When I pressed on why that was the policy if they are selling items out of code, she just replied "I'm just covering, this is not my store." She said there's nothing she could do and told me to come back in the morning and talk to another manager. I explained that I work in the morning and couldn't do that, and she just said "I can't help you then." I think Albertsons has a thoughtless store policy that's being enforced by managers with poor customer service skills. It's unfortunate, because I used to drive a couple extra miles to specifically go to this store. read more
