Took my rating down 1 star. Why? I always instruct both the checker and bag- person how to bag (after I loaded the conveyer belt with my items in separated sections. Ah, I began shopping here because Von's never removes off code items (tofu 6months past the pull date) and the bagging is even worst. So I ordered a cake for my son's first birthday something really special for him let me start off by saying the cake was all wrong I ordered chocolate I got White I ordered bananas inside didn't get that either to top it off the cake was so dry and Gross I called back the same night and I spoke to Victor he was telling me that I can go in there anytime and get store credit I wasted my time going in there Victor wasn't there and the guy refused to help me he was very rude didn't even want to make sure that Victor left a note he said that it wasn't his problem it was victors and there was nothing he could do till Victor was there tomorrow night!!!! don't come here drive to the next Albertson's but here it is terrible customer service horrible cake it's only been seven days and my friend still make fun of my sons cake read more

This store definitely doesn't care if they loose business or not. I went there and the box person and the cashier just ignored me. He (Mitchell) seemed to pay attention to the white and Hispanic customers but when it was my turned to get my groceries bagged he just started talking with the cashier acting as if I wasn't there. So when I started bagging my own items this is when the cashier (Irene G) must of felt bad and tried to help but it was too late then. They should have been paying attention to me instead of each other. Evidently their conversation was much more important than me. I even did compliant online and never got a call or email from anyone from Albertsons which is probably why many of them are closed. This one should follow. This is what I put on their Facebook website about three weeks ago. This store definitely does not care how they treat it's customers. I did the survey online and I have not heard anything from them. I went there and the bus boy (Mitchell) just ignored me, I am not trying to play the race card but was it a coincidence that he help the next person who happened to be Hispanic or Caucasian. i had to put my own bags in the shopping cart while he and the cashier talked to each other. I guess when she (Irene G) saw me doing this then she offered to help. A little to late for that. Mitchell just walked away like I wasn't even there. He didn't even acknowledge me which I thought was supposed to be Albertson's policy to acknowledge a customer if you come within 4 foot of contact. Maybe they changed that. I have always had bad experiences at Albertons. Especially the one that used to be on Mountain. Glad that one has been closed. They had really bad service. This store is not that far behind. Thank you Jim Traylor for not having the time to call me about your bad customer service. I will go to the Wal-mart down the street or the Stater Bros. I love shopping at this alberson's but I am handicapped unlike staters and Smart & Final their website I believe says they only open early for seniors. Disable people that are slow have Injuries or other ailments are afraid to go in and be trampled and are slow. I will return to shopping here after The Corona viruses is over, until then I will need to go to stores that treat disable the same as seniors. read more

Sierra in the bakery department is awesome. she always makes going to but something fun and enjoyable! my mom loves the shortbread fudge cookies, but she will only get them from Sierra! the store is always clean, there is always enough cashiers so a grocery trip is long due to lines. read more

Went in today super excited at about 5:45pm to purchase my Hubby favorite cheesecake to celebrate his promotion... Asked the young lady at the bakery if she could write on the plastic "Congrats" and place in on there like I've had done there several times.. She said she was new and couldn't ok understandable she asked if I wanted a manager to do it I said yes please.. Here comes Debbie in a complete rush and when the young lady explained to her what I needed you could see it in her face that she was bothered.. She was starting to write directly on it I asked if she could use the plastic to write on she said "this is not my department" she vaguely looked around for it and sd well do u want me to write on it or not.. Ummmm excuse me is that how you treat your customers? Is it my fault that nobody is this huge grocery store is able to properly service a particular department and give proper customer service?... Albertson's has always been my go-to grocery store since I started frequenting the one in Brea where I live. I have never had a problem finding what I need at any location, however; this one has a pretty confusing floor set up with several multiple half-aisles in the store. I was used to the standard longer 7-8 aisles whereas this one was chopped up into infinite sub sections for items. Could get pretty frustrating when you're spending time looking for everything on your list. However, the service here is always friendly and I have always had all my questions answered thoroughly no matter what the product. I don't just get pointed to a general direction, they're detailed with any help I need. They always, *always* have really good deals on everyday products and my bf and I always have great customer service when we check out. Other than the fact that today the cashier forgot to give my by back his owed change, I would still shop at this location. read more

Excellent customer service in store and on the phone. Clean store with a large variety and lots of parking. Called today asking if they carried a certain type of salami and the ladies I spoke to at the deli and at the main phone were both so kind and helpful. They checked both the deli and the shelf to see if they had what I was looking for. Super courteous and professional! Staff went above and beyond for me and that's via phone call! Me and my friend had been calling everywhere like crazy trying to find the lowest pricing place to fill up some helium balloons, the guy on the phone Marco told us about 5$ we came in and he was very friendly and funny ! It was my husbands 50th birthday party and we wanted something a little different, I kept walking back and forth just looking and thinking and at least 3 gals asked me if they could help me. When I was finally ready, one of the bakery clerks was amazingly helpful (even tho I was so wishy washy and couldn't make up my mind). The cake we got was way better than what we had discussed! We were driving through and needed to stop and get milk for our baby. It was the closest store that was still open since almost all of them close at 11pm. When we got there at 11:30pm an older gentleman met my husband at the door and said they closed at 11pm. He explained that the website shows 12am and the gentleman closed the door. I get it is late and he wants to go home but he didn't have to be so rude. Someone really needs to update your site as well. read more

I went to Albertsons on the day before Thanksgiving. I needed 2 bunches of chives. There was only one left. I asked a nearby employee if they had any more. He took a couple minutes and checked all over and didn't find any. I went on to complete the rest of my shopping. Maybe 5 minutes later the same employee found me all the way on the other side of the store with another bunch of chives! Osborn took the time to check again and then even took the time to find me all the way on the other side of the store. Phenomenal customer service! As someone who works in customer service I truly appreciate the effort he took! I always have a pleasant experience when I go to this Albersons! read more

I just have to give a huge thank you to this Albertsons. There was an availability issue with an item in the weekly ad. I love coming to this store however it is out of my way. But it usually is my go to place for holiday grocery shopping due to quality & service, the great deli with the hot wing bar. The store is always clean & bustling. So, I was bummed when I saw they didn't have the ham I came in for. It was going to be a drag finding what I wanted at the same or comparable price. I was advised that the supplier / vendor didn't supply any in the first place. So at the very least I was hoping to get a rain check. But I also asked the manager if it was possible to get that same price on a similar product by the same brand. I never ask for things like that, but I figured there was no harm in asking. It was more about the inconvenience than anything else. So I was so touched when I saw the manager coming over to me with a lovely ham that she arranged for me to purchase at the lower price. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who experiences lazy & insensitive inept customer service on a daily basis. But it's so refreshing to experience caring & professional service. Not the best customer service. 7 people in line, one register open, despite calls overhead for service. So much for their "3's A Crowd" motto. As for the BAKERY, go somewhere else!! I placed a cake order for my child's birthday party. When I went to pick it up, they had no cake, and no record of my order, which I prepaid for (thank goodness I kept a copy of the order form and the receipt). The supervisor offered for me to pick a pre-made cake for free. I got it home, sang happy birthday, then cut into it only to realize the sticker said it was a white cake but in actuality it was chocolate, which the birthday girl hates, there for she didn't even get to eat her own birthday cake. Today I was having a BBQ with my mom and girlfriend. I was hesitant on which store to get my BBQ meat and side dishes. I decided to go to Albertson's and right when I went in I was impressed with the selections and verity they had to offer! I ended up buying some chicken quarters that where already seasoned and for the price and the amount, you couldn't go wrong. The sides of fruit and vegies where well kept and fresh. The staff was very helpful in answering my questions on where about the items where stocked. Also what where the seasoning on the meats I had purchased. All in all it was a delightful experience and will be looking forward to my next BBQ and many more to come. Now that I have my spot to go to buy the necessities need for a great BBQ day!!! read more

I'm really upset about my visit to Albertsons today. Before I started my shopping I needed to find their public restroom. Asked the guy at Starbucks and he pointed me towards it. I had a difficult time finding it because I've lost a lot of my vision because of a stroke to my eye. I found a employee stocking flowers with dark hair. I asked where the restroom was and she was bothered. I said this way not understanding and she yelled out that way, can't you see the sign? I told her no , I can't, if I could I wouldn't have asked you. I don't understand why she had to be so nasty to me. I told her she really needs to work on her manners. Talked with management and he said she must be having a bad day. I've worked in retail all of my life and have never spoke to a customer like that. I don't understand how someone could be so disrespectful. I will never return to that store again. read more

Being a grocery store of course this place has its ups and downs and goods and bads. But it definitely has a lot of goods. One of my favorite things about this store is that in the alcohol section they have a build your own 6-pack of beer for $9.99. Which is awesome. Any beer and some you've never heard of. One of the bad parts of the store is that although it's nice that they have a bank inside, they have their workers come up to you multiple times and harass you to get a bank account there. read more

Love this location. Its my spot for the few name brand things I can't get from local specialty stores. Its always clean and the employees are very friendly. They do however sell things above the usual price, even when they have sales the prices are still higher then other local stores. I only stop in here for a few things because I can't imagine how expensive it would be to do major grocery shopping here! read more

I love Albertsons when I heard it was coming back I was super excited! I live and work right down the street so it's super convenient for me. Especially when I came in for a late Christmas present! (Christmas day). They are open late so it's nice when you need something late at night or have cravings. Also as for one of the employees in specific. Jeff is awesome! I come around every other Saturday and he is always so nice and has great customer service! I don't come very often at all but when I do he remembers me, surprisingly, even though he sees tons of different faces every time he works. I seriously hate this Albertsons. The yogurt is always expired and I have also bought other items finding out they are expired once I get them home: cereal bars, cookies from the cookie aisle, nestle tollhouse cookie dough. Seriously why can't the staff keep track of their inventory and cycle out what is expired! Also there are times when they have been out of specific items that I needed such as my baby's formula, an employee had to go in the back to see if they had more while I waited ten minutes. Last complaint, these employees do not know how to bag groceries! I spend time picking out my fruit and veggies making sure they aren't squished or bruised but then the baggers always stack canned goods on top of them and my produce is a mess when I get it home. They also overload my bags to the point I can barely carry them and then the bags spill in the car because they are too full. The only reason I shop here is because they are across the street from my house. read more
