Second Albertsons I have had an issue with. This one was as unbelievable as the first one I went to. So I go here at least once a week and always use the self check-out. This obsession the employees have with making sure you pay for your bag is beyond belief!! This is the second time the same woman here butt in front of me reaching over w/o saying excuse me and putting in the bag I requested!! As she butt in front of me I said, excuse me but I know how to add the bag at the end of the transaction! I told her I am good and if I needed help I would ask. I wasn't rude and told her I was good. She copped an attitude and proceeded o go over to another cashier and started gossiping about me and the other cashier looked at me! I could hear her and everything. I finished, added the bag and then paid and as I am leaving she has the nerve to tell me that the next time I come in no one is going to help me!!!!! That I can forget about getting any assistance! I asked for a manager and was told no manager was there. I know the manager was there because I saw him as i came in! I finally was able to speak to him. He just listens says he'll take care of it and walks away! Went in there the other day and there she is with the attitude so I walked out and went to Ralphs. We were at the Albertson's store/pharmacy on 1/26/21. The pharmacy staff were handling their regular customers along with COVID vaccine customers in a caring and orderly manner. A minor medical event was handled exceptionally well. Pharmacist Scott was quick to assess the situation and take action as needed. Great produce nice meat selection and best of all great prices. I usually shop at Bristol farms which is a great store but it is really expensive. Clean and nice store I actually used this location for the Chase Bank that made me mad because it only had one teller who decided that she wanted to chit chat with the man she was waiting on for about 5 minutes and I was already waiting in line for 20 minutes. I guess these small branches in grocery stores don't staff these with a very large group, but I think you can at least be conscious of the customers that are trying to go about their business day. I've banked with Chase now for over 10 years LOVE them but I've never had one thing bad to say but I finally couldn't wait any longer I had 3 people waiting outside for me because we are traveling and this was ridiculous. So I left and found another branch. So the review is not so much for the Grocery store but for the bank inside. Sorry. I'm only giving it the 4 stars because it is a nice store but the Chase branch would get a 1 star but there was not a Yelp check in to review the bank. read more

I came looking for nothing in particular, but what I stumbled across however, was a very cool juice bar located in the far right back corner of the store. This store produces fresh juices through an amazingly large juicer or through other means. For orange juice, they have a commercial grade squeezer which extracts the juices as well as the citrus oils for an amazing orange juice! Their drinks are very fresh, delightful, and refreshing! I give them 5 stars because the store was very clean, all the workers were nice and helpful too. The checkout lines were ready for the holiday shopping madness. Still a one star experience. Don't come here for flowers unless you want their prepackaged bouquets .. they can't repackage them into a bigger bouquets for you. In fact, don't come here unless you want to be disappointed. Obviously these simple things that come along with having a floral department are l above their skill level at this location. They told me they don't even have extra cellophane to wrap them up. Horrible experience yet again. Left my $50+ floral purchase and went to Bristol Farms instead. Nice store very clean but the lady in the bakery while packing the fresh French bread is taking her sweet time and talking on her cell phone, she is using gloves but still touching her phone with the gloves and then touches her phone, defeating the purpose of the gloves. Albertsons - Grocery Near Me - Rancho Mirage, California

The employees are kind, when you ask them where something is in the store they point you in the right direction. The store is fairly clean and organized. However, I have not been happy with the meat products that I've purchased recently. The steak was gamey and terrible. The chicken breast seemed to have gone bad by the time I even got it home, it was slimy and by the next morning, the color had gone from peach/light pink to almost grey. I wasn't going to right a review, because I don't think it reflects fairly on the employees to give the store a bad review, but after I bought ribs and cooked them, I had to. I bought a full rack and was so excited to cook it with my boyfriend because he had never had home cooked ribs. We baked them in the oven for about 3 hours and then seared them on the grill. When we sat down to eat them, they were delicious, but THERE WAS NO MEAT ON THE BONES. From a full rack of ribs, we probably got about 6 oz of meat total; and that was by chewing on every single surface. This was the biggest disappointment. I am only giving two stars because one time there was a cake that was on sale there that we purchased that was called something like a "Boston Strawberry Cream Cake," and it was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. I have never seen another one at the store since though. read more

CUSTOMERS of the Valley...... Had a issue with employees in the Produce department at this Albertsons location here on the corner of Monterey and County Club Dr. Two employees in this dept. that I asked didn't know there product or where it was located. I was told the Produce I was looking for would arrive the next day. Kinda funny, I ended up finding the Produce I was looking for myself. It was in stock by a lot. I noticed one employee with his name tag turned backwards were you could NOT see or read his name. And I must say after reading ALL the 1 & 2 Star reviews I understand why..... NOW the good part, Rex came to the rescue. After a very quick conversation he went straight to the department in question and took action. I admire that. I've only lived here Five years and this grocery store is closest to us. Every time I've walked into this store it's been "Immaculate", there has been a floor sweeper each time & that person was always courteous. On other occasions I've asked for help from employees and they have Walked me to the item I was looking for. Do they hit on All 8 cylinders All day everyday.....? As customers it's Our Place to point out deficiency, it's Our store after all. Mr Rex (and I use his name this way out of respect, didn't get his last name) leaving with my remarks went straight to the employees and straighten things out then and there. Needless to say I was "Amazed"....Hadn't seen that type or level of a manager take action the way he did in Years.... I agree with some of the other remarks left by the One and Two Star customers. I was going to post a negative review after the Deli messed up a special order for Christmas Eve that was not ready for me when I arrived to pick it up. I was told they were out of the item and could not fill my order that I placed three days prior. The Deli manager was not at all accommodating in trying to fix their mistake. Nor did anyone call me prior to tell me the order would not be ready, and I made a special trip there just to get this order for our Christmas Eve dinner. Spoke with the manager, Pete Rodriquez and he did what a good manager should do - Offered me a comparable item, comped the bill and added some extra pieces to make up for their error. Nice clean store. Nothing really special. It is the same as the other albertsons. The parking lot was very large so there is an ample amount of parking. There are recycling collectors in the front which i thought was really cool.( you could just go and collect a few bottles from different trash cans and you can buy yourself a pack of gum. its awesome!) but anyways when I went to visit the store it was clean and the people were nice. But the other reviews say differently so I'm not sure if they are true but do not put all of your faith into this review because I went to the albertsons over the weekend for a retreat, but the other reviewers live here and go here all the time so maybe you should take the advice of a regular customer of this albertsons. read more

Shopping with my family, we were treated like theives by a cashier. The cashier, Amanda (who is not even checking us out) disregards her shopper to focus on my cart (which has a case of water and a small watermelon in it). My cashier, Ismael was immediately notified of the items in the cart (and even instructed me that he didn't need the watermelon) so imagine my surprise, shock and irritation when Amanda feels the need to call out my cart items multiple times INSTEAD of tending to her customer(s). Clearly Ismael and I were on the same page with my groceries, but little Ms. Amanda was so invested in a customer that was not hers. Her first offense was understandable, the second was questionable but the third time was down right disrespectful, offesive and clearly out of line. WOW! Guess there's a first time for everything. Albertson's let's do better, Amanda is clearly NOT cashier material. Let her stock or gather carts until she can learn manners, respect and human decency. read more

I have been going to Albertsons for roughly 11 years since moving to the area. I'm continually disappointed with their quality of items. Every visit I find multiple items which are expired. Some by a few days some by months. When you bring it to the attention of the manager or workers they just say well "clearly someone isn't doing their job." It's frustrating to spend time and money when the managers take no pride in their store and spend time on quality control. Unfortunately, they don't see a problem with this. Would they serve this food to their family? Or at a kids birthday party? Disgusting and disappointed don't even describe my thoughts about this store. They need to be audited by their parent company, and it needs to be rectified. I'm sure they can serve this community better. read more

This location is large and relatively organized. The bakery this morning seemed to have a great variety of bagels, muffins, and other treats. There was a sale on my favorite yogurts so I was definitely excited! 4/5$! (Tilamook and Icelandic provisions). Also there wasn't too many people but only one register open so had to wait a bit while checking out. Nice staff. I like Albertson's supermarket very much. We like to shop for fresh food, especially fruits and vegetables and I think the winner for fresh produce is Albertson's. Additionally, their bakery has wonderful breads and rolls and, once in a while, we give in to temptation and purchase one of their cakes or pies-- they are delicious. This review will be evidence in a potential lawsuit. I have a medical problem that requires medication. I went to the Albertsons Sav-On on California Hwy 111 to pick up my required anti-viral medication. The pharmacist called in sick so the entire pharmacy was shuttered. At 5:30 pm PST there was no way to get the medication I desperately needed. After speaking with corporate customer service, the Palm Desert location said they MIGHT be able to transfer the meds to this Rancho Mirage location. I highlight the word MIGHT because it wasn't an absolute. I called the other pharmacy location in Rancho Mirage and the phone kept ringing with not even a message option. My doctors are on the ball calling in my prescription. Sav-On, however, lacks any accountability whatsoever. Having no back-up plan for a "sick" pharmacist, to ensure those who need certain required medications (as circumstantial as the situation may be, is negligent. There are no options for me. My pain is so threatening to my well being that this tantamount to medical malpractice. I'm not sure what will happen read more

The 3 star rating and reviews had me concerned. I was very hesitant to shop at this Albertsons, but it was the most convenient stop for me. As I walked toward the aisle I had identified as having what I needed, an employee asked me if I needed help finding anything. That is a rarity anywhere these days! When I checked out, the lines were beginning to grow a little long. The store manager was monitoring the situation closely. He called for more checkers and even began checking people out himself. First of all, I unloaded my basket to keep all the cold items together and the courtesy clerk spread the one bag of cold items out between 5 bags. This is ridiculous, we live in the desert. PUT COLD ITEMS IN THE SAME BAG. Aside from that I have no other recommendations except to put the Mexican refried beans WITH THE HISPANIC FOODS - you know, all the OTHER items that one uses to make Mexican food. Apparently the game is to maximize customer searching for food items in the in the hope they will buy more items, and to heck with customer convenience.
