There's a rude and disrespectful employee who works there who's had behavioral issues for the several years I've gone to that Aldi-I think her name is Bozena or close to it (she wears glasses, has medium to short hair, wears a facemask a lot of the time, guessing she's in her 50s or early 60s.) People need to start holding her accountable because she shouldn't be working with the public if she's going to have such poor and rude behavior, Aldi needs to do something at this point. I love Aldi for many of my grocery items including fresh and seasoned meat, some produce, premium salsa line, dairy, chips, nuts, specialty items, paper goods and more. Oh, and you'll find delightful seasonal surprises like yummy Panettone. Staff is super helpful, friendly, and efficient. Store is clean and lately the produce has greatly improved. You will likely not find all that you need here but you will save money if you don't mind an extra trip down the street. I didn't like Aldi at first- there was a bit of a learning curve to know the ins and outs. But I'm so glad I stuck with it. Highly recommend! read more

Love aldi chocolates. They are minimally processed "healthy" chocolates. You can eat them as is or chop them up for your favorite recipe. I like melting the dark chocolate in molds with peanut butter for a high protein delicious healthy-ish snack. Tip- don't forget to byob (bring your own bag)! read more

Stopped in here for the first time last week to check them out as my parents told me they were better than Walmart! Gotta make sure you bring a quarter to get your cart as it's all bout the quarter that you get back when you return your cart! Their select was awesome and had a lot of good products from breads to dairy and even a meat department! Anything you can get at a regular grocery store you can get her and there prices are a lot cheaper! I would normally spend $140-160 at Walmart and not get that much stuff! But here I spent $105.00 and got way more stuff and my cart was full! I will definitely be back again when I need groceries! Them ambiance was very mellow and calm not all crazy like most grocery stores it was a more relaxed experience! But make sure you bring your own bags to bag your groceries after you check out! The place is okay not so very clean. There's this manager I believe whom is always rushing for everything name , Bozena. I always feel rushed when I'm getting ready to pay. The employees are overworked and unfriendly, except for a cashier whom was there before. Life is rushed for the most part, why rush us when we grocery shop too?! I just started buying my produce at Aldi's, it's fresh and very inexpensive compared to other places. I also found other items like green tea to be a good value. Now that I've discovered the value at this store I will go more often. There are no frills at the check out so take your own bags. There's some good deals to be found here. I found the produce to be rather sorry looking, but the cookies, nuts, snacks, etc are great. They also have a decent selection of heat and serve foods and non-perishable products. The store isn't very large and you can't do all of your shopping here, but I can see why it has such a loyal following. You need a quarter to unlock a cart (you get it back when you return the cart), & there is lots of parking. The cashier was very friendly, she was the only employee we saw on our last visit. It took me quite awhile to warm up to this place. I didn't get it the 1st time I came here. I walked in and walked out and didn't buy a thing. After listening to others I tried again. Now I really look forward to the way they change it up each week. This may sound odd, but I like the flowers and the plants and other gardening paraphernalia they sometimes carry. Each week they have a theme or specials that break on Wednesday and these loss leader get me in before they are gone. For example their tumbling composter was only $39.99 but you do have to assemble it. I have learned to shop midweek as I am often disappointed when they are sold out by the weekend and how things don't get restocked on the shelves as quickly. There are a few staff members that are consistently helpful and friendly. Located in the In and Out and El Pollo Loco shared parking lot, it's conveniently across the way from Trader Joe's. They do carry major brands but their house brand is significantly cheaper. Check it out , they carry some interesting products. When I was little we used to get our milk from a German dairy, the owner would hand out a long pretzel stick to the kids. You can get a plastic container of those pretzel like cigars here. Don't forget your quarter to unlock your shopping cart and bring reusable bags to pack up your purchase. read more

Return cart & get quarter returned. *If you don't have a quarter, go inside & ask for an Aldi Quarter. Over 1,500 US stores across 32 states, a recent press release says it serves more than 30 million customers each month. Wow. But it didn't start in the US, and it's across Europe, too -- nearly 10,000 stores worldwide. That's what we call a "player". Founded in Germany, I expected a lot more German products. There were some, but none of the brands I've come to love. In fact, very few brands I've ever heard of. Most of the products carried are their own brand. There's no butcher, or bakery. Boo, one star demerit. Amazing prices, here's a sample: ========================= $1.99 dozen eggs $1.39 peanut butter $2.45 gallon of milk $0.85 loaf of bread It's new, but it has more of a 99 cents / Walmart feel than Trader Joe's, carrying a small amount of household items, lawn chairs, and other riff raff. Bad customer service. The cashier was rude. (Dark hair male with earrings) He made up a limit on an item while I was there when I saw someone else buy 8 of them earlier. I explained there was no sign and he said he can set a limit on an item when they want to! And that there is a sign on their front door stating that. A simple- sorry we don't have a sign, I will let you get these today- would have been good service. And you can't speak to a manager. Everything goes to corporate. I love ALDI. It didn't start like that... My first visit was when they first opened. My husband and I walked in, walked through the store, saw hardly a brand I recognized and assumed it was like a Grocery Outlet. Really cheap "food" made from left over and sub-par ingredients and sold at really low prices. We figured we'd walk through every once in awhile to see if there is anything worth buying. On our way home, I did a little Googling and looked up ALDI. I found out it is actually a relative of Trader Joe's (which I love) and the brands we saw are special ALDI brands made with good ingredients and attention to quality. I also found out about their double your money back guarantee making sure shoppers feel free to sample their brand and if they don't like it, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Wow. We went back to ALDI and have been going back ever since. I love their produce and dairy. Great prices and quality. Their quinoa choices are fabulous and again, great prices. The brand names are lower here than other places. There is always a fabulous sale. SO many awesome things to choose from. We've returned a couple of things and they were taken back with a smile and no attitude, just curiosity about what didn't work for us so they could take note. I don't like their sharp cheddar cheese and I won't buy their pork as it has that preservative solution I cannot stand the flavor of. I do buy their chicken and occasionally a steak. Their ground beef is good too. I'm glad to see ALDI thriving here in the Coachella Valley, they are a welcome addition and their friendly and helpful employees are wonderful! read more

I like this store a lot. Although it doesn't have all of the name brands that the big chain stores have, it is focused on having low prices and selling generic products of the big brands. It's easy to get in and out of. I think the shopping cart idea is brilliant. I mean, you stick a quarter in to get a shopping cart and if you return it you get your quarter back. Great way to keep from having to hire a cart person. read more

I like that this store is clean and fairly easy to navigate. What consistently irritates me is that there is usually only one cashier. The length of the line crawls into the aisles making it difficult for other shoppers to pass through. And even for those that only have one or two items, you're forced to wait forevvvvs. Hopefully they start to hire some more help! read more

My recommendations to go there based on multiple visits: 1) Employees take initiative to ask if you need help finding something! It is rare nowadays to find grocery store employees willing and wanting to help you. 2) Incredibly low prices compared to your average grocery store. 3) If youre in a budget or like to save money on your groceries, this place is for you. 4) NO LONG LINES! (my favorite) Keep in mind: 1) You will need to bring your own bags or they allow you to freely take the boxes of inventory laying around 2) You do have to use a quarter to release a grocery cart to use. (Im assuming no spending costs on an extra employee to corral all the carts that lazy people arent willing to put in the right place) 3) You wont find a ton of name brand products. Aldi is a very interesting grocery store. Yes, you do need a quarter for the cart but you get that back upon return of the cart. As far as the produce goes, I definitely won't buy my fruits & veggies there again. It seems as though most of them were rotten or soon to be rotten. I picked the best I could and they went bad the next day. However, they have great deals on their frozen meats and non perishable food! I probably spent 1/2 what I would have spent at a normal grocery store! read more

Avoid this store!!! Let me tell you two nightmares I had here...a while back they had a nutcase manager who not only was rude .he harrased me when I complained about bad service.he actually followed me and was loud .aggressive and just in general abrasive. The stores district mgt had to get involved.and I was told he got fired over it..good!!!!!but after a long while I decided to try the store again..last few months things seemed to go smoothly.then about two weeks ago I was in line .and an idiot cashier named George was ringing up my orders I heard him offer a shopping cart to the lady ahead of me..I then asked if I could use a cart due to my bad back. He said company policy doesn't allow this..I said you just offered a cart to the lady in front of me..his response was even stupider.he said he thought I was parked a half mile away.and didn't want the cart going that far away!! I said well unless your psychic how would you know where I'm parked? Plus your lot is empty...couldn't believe the ignorance of his response!! I've now endured two or three really horrible situations in this store...I asked the corp office for an apology from this horrible cashier George..since I never got one.I called them and told them they were losing a very good customer over a shopping cart!!!! Good if you want to get some deals but not to do your regular shopping. I stop in occasionally when I have time because their prices are good. However, their stock is limited so you can't expect to do all of your grocery shopping there. Also, if you see something you really like, buy it then because it may not be around again. Produce is usually good but, again, not plentiful. Not sure why because I know they are well-paid, but the employees (mostly checkout) seem seem very unfriendly. read more

You can buy water for 79 cents a gallon, ready to eat pineapple spears for 3.69, or just buy the whole pineapple for 1.25, walnuts are 5.99 a bag and a large tin of unsalted mixed nuts are 12.99.
