    5 years monster jam cake

Amazing service in the bakery! Maria has been making our cakes for occasions and birthdays for years and every year she out does herself! Cakes always taste perfect and loved by all! Prices are also very reasonable!

    Best cake ever!!

I have to recommend their bakery department for cakes, and I want to thank Miriam, she went above and beyond with what I needed to be placed on the cake, she understood exactly how I wanted it and also had some recommendations which were on point! Let me tell you about the inside of cake, we wanted fresh strawberries and bananas and whipped cream. So many people wanted to know where we bought this cake and said it was one of the best looking and tasting cakes they ever had. Thank you again Miriam!! I will definitely be coming in to see you again for future events.

Terrible chicken all five boxes were like this !!!

It's been over a week and still no response from the store or their customer service team worst experience ever.

    Where's the cherries?

    1. Terrible check out experience! Usually only have 2 check out stands out of 5-6 open. Long lines, long wait! Sometimes even bag my own groceries to help checker who is doing their best to take care of line behind me. Box people few and far between! Manager here apparently does perceive this as a problem or would have more people to accommodate the shoppers in this large store! Many times there is a long line in self checkout line too for people frustrated from waiting in regular check out line. I'm sure there are a lot of people looking for a job. Hire more people! 2. Cherry turnovers in bakery dept are terrible. If you can find a cherry in them, your lucky! Seems like they smear some cherry preserves on the inside and that's it. When you bite into it you get a mouthful of air inside the pastry crust. Need to put actual cherries in a cherry turnover!

The fact this Albertson's is the one circulating in this post makes it so much cooler!

Store is always clean and well organized. Good fried chicken, fresh guacamole and salsas at the front always get me.

Review #866 2025-038…read more I first discovered Grocery Outlet about a decade ago in Fresno, & was attracted to the unusual finds at a "grocery store," such as an Olaf bike helmet, Curious George: Discovery Beach Game, etc. The first S. Bay store opened 6 years ago in Redondo Beach, just before COVID-19; it's a bit out of way to shop there. And about a year ago, they took over the former Big Lots location in Lomita. What is Grocery Outlet? They're a discount grocery chain that sells name brand groceries & fresh produce for 40% - 70% less than conventional grocery stores. How? By buying overstocked, seasonal, closeout, & discontinued items from various suppliers. This "opportunistic buying" allows them to acquire items at significant discounts, which are passed on to us. My 14 YO daughter's swim team does this away meet "gift" (junk) exchange where they create a goody bag filled with their fav snacks & drinks. They're kids so it's obviously junk foods & sodas, except for the handful who treat each meet with consideration of this bag o' treats may hinder their performance. I'm grateful for the less expensive options at Grocery Outlet. Since I don't agree with their choices, I started creating my own carbo-load sustenance (fresh fruits, granola bars, nuts, etc.) on competition days. Grocery Outlet offer pretty great deals on fresh fruits, I especially loved the 2-lb. strawberry pack that my husband got recently... so fresh, juicy, & sweet! I got some red cherries (at $2.99/lb.) that were sweet too! Not all produce offer better quality & prices, I'd say it's more like 50-50. Another recent find was A-Sha Spicy Seaweed (only 99¢) & Keroppi Mandarin Noodles with Silly Spicy Sauce (60% discount). Store hours are 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily, just a couple hours shorter than the traditional stores. Wide aisles are well-stocked & organized, but you may not always find the same products at your next shopping trip due to opportunistic buying, & what may be priced that day may be priced differently the next day (e.g. Quaker Chewy Limited Edition Valentine Minis: Chocolate Chip with Sprinkles was 99¢, & 2 days later it was $3.99). Also, it's important to check the expiration dates for those too-good-to-be-true deals, they usually have a short expiration dates or are already expired. Yikes! There's usually only 1 register opened even when there's a line, I wish they would opened another register, but the cashiers are typically quick that sometimes I have to load my own bags. Sign up for the WOW! Crowd with your mobile number to enter sweepstakes, track savings, & purchase history. Download the app to see what's in store, get access to insider events, & digital offers, including a $5 off $25 coupon at registration. Grocery Outlet may not be our main go-to store, but it's certainly a great back-up to the traditional stores.

I hardly ever go inside stores anymore since moving to California (obviously, I'm not originally…read morefrom here ), but whenever I order online through their website for pickup, it is genuinely one of the easiest and BEST things ever. My orders are always ready on time, they've never messed up an order, and if something needs to be substituted, they're quick to communicate with me beforehand so there are no surprises when I arrive. I've probably ordered from here 40+ times at this point (could be more, could be less -- I honestly have no idea, but I order A LOT), and I can confidently say that the employees have ALWAYS been pleasant, helpful, and efficient. I can only remember one occasion where my order took a little longer than usual, but I could literally see ALL OF THE CARS in the parking lot, so I obviously wasn't expecting them to magically have my order ready immediately. Even then, they still kept me updated and communicated with me, which I really appreciated. Personally, I HATE going inside stores. I have very little patience for slow walkers, people who stop in the middle of an aisle, or entire families somehow managing to take up the ENTIRE aisle while completely unaware that other people are trying to get through. I have genuinely had to remind myself to breathe in situations like that. So yes, online ordering and pickup is absolutely my preferred method because it saves me from testing the limits of my patience. That being said, every employee I've encountered here has been beyond helpful, communicative, and kind. I truly appreciate the consistency and the effort they put into making pickup so easy. And just to be clear, I'm NOT saying that going inside the store is a bad experience. The few times I have gone in, the employees have been friendly, and the store itself has always been clean and well-maintained. I simply have ADHD and, personally, slow walkers and people with zero situational awareness in a crowded store will be the death of me. So I can't really speak for the customers -- because, respectfully, I have absolutely no patience for them. ‍ But the STAFF? Always great. The pickup service? Excellent. The communication? Consistent. And after ordering here this many times, I genuinely have nothing but good things to say about the people who work here, and the store itself!

This past time I went it feel like they had a lot crammed as you enter it was a bit overwhelming in my opinion. When it was time to pay there was a long line and only two registers open and which the isles being so close to the register it felt a bit tight. A lady has a return a return so that explains it. But besides those small things it's a solid grocery store. They have a great variety of meat and produce that doesn't go bad like other stores. I love their mark downs when I come on Sunday as well. I always find great stuff, won't forget to pass by their flower section they always have beautiful flowers even on clearance and as you meter they always have fun plants outside you can pick up. Their parking is great and they share with bank that's next to it but the shopping center has enough parking for all. No complaint there.

Unfortunately, the issue is not the age of the staff -- it is the consistent lack of training, accountability, and respect in how they handle customers and online grocery orders. Ralph's - Rolling Hills frequently substitutes items incorrectly, without proper attention to what was actually requested. My most recent order included five wrong grocery replacements -- not small mistakes, but entirely unrelated items, despite clear instructions. When I attempted to call the store for a refund and speak to a manager, the lack of professionalism was shocking. The associate I believe was named "Sonia" repeatedly cut me off, insisted my issue should be routed to the deli because "she handles Thanksgiving dinners," even after I clearly explained multiple times: "This is not a Thanksgiving dinner order, these are my personal groceries." She denied interrupting me and immediately placed me on hold -- after I overheard her announce she was going to do exactly that before even greeting me on the phone. I called back hoping for better service, only to experience more defensiveness from another associate, Austin, followed by a manager, Adriana, who picked up the call with attitude rather than empathy, professionalism, or a basic customer-first mindset. To be clear: * I support youth employment * I do not support poor training, argumentative responses, or disrespect toward paying customers * I expect proper order fulfillment and professional communication when mistakes happen What this store needs is leadership that leads, training that prepares, and service that listens, rather than reacts. Until that happens, I'll happily take my business elsewhere.

The second lady said the same thing - they were short staffed - but didn't offer to do anything and had an "oh well" attitude. I've now wasted gas and two trips to the deli that's supposed to be OPEN UNTIL 8PM like the signage says. I feel for the workers wanting to get off on time and the store being short staffed, however, that is not the problem of the consumer.
