I was helping my mom get a couple of gallons of milk since she is in the 65+ age group plus my own milk and I was told by one of the Albertsons employers they have plenty of milk and not to hoard milk. I was shocked and appalled by what I was told. The employee could of easily told me there is a limit of 2 and left it at that. I live around the corner from here so often this is the Albertsons/grocery store I use for fast, random pickups of groceries. I've never really had an large issue here-the checkout and bagging staff has always been pleasant and lovely. However- I have a huge issue today. The woman behind the meat department right now (older woman, darker hair, wearing a hat) is currently behind the counter yelling back and forth to a guest about how trump has been treated so unfairly, about "left libtards" not playing fair for tonight's debate, pray the left up and leave this state-that Newsom is the worst thing to ever happen to California. And though every employee and person for that matter is entitled to their own political opinion, I don't need that shouted over a deli counter. And I certainly do not need it shouted over a deli counter with OUR MANDATED MASK PULLED DOWN BELOW OUR NOSE WHILE SCREAMING ABOUT POLITICS. I will never, ever purchase meat from here again knowing that the person working the deli counter IS NOT COVID COMPLIANT AND CAN BE CONTAMINATING ANY AND ALL MEAT WHILE WORKING. I am literally 9 months pregnant and will absolutely never be shopping here again until COVID is over. Management needs to address that situation ASAP because who knows how many people have purchased contaminated food here. read more

Ordered this custom cake from Albertsons. They did a great job and it tasted great. It was exactly how I wanted it for my daughter's birthday. When I lived in South Florida back in the 80s and 90s, there were basically only three choices for supermarkets. The two Florida based ones, Publix and Winn-Dixie and this one from Utah called Albertson's. Now Publix was the one everyone went to. It was great. Clean, attractive, great food and bakery. It still blows practically every market in LA out of the water. Winn-Dixie wasn't as nice but it was OK with great fried chicken. It was where to go if you didn't have time to go to Publix. And then there was Albertson's. Bigger, but not as attractive and not as cheap. It was the supermarket of last resort for most Floridians. So now Albertson's is a behemoth owned by the Twin Cities supplier/broker SuperValu and it still pales in significance to most LA stores. It's hard to believe these guys own Bristol Farms, but they do. It's definitely a pricier market than the other guys. I rarely find a worthwhile special in their ads and they only rarely do double coupons (OK, practically nobody does anymore) unless they put two in their circular to use if you spend ten bucks or something. This Albertsons at least, is one of the newer, remodeled ones. It's definitely much nicer than the one near me. Better selection and a better liquor/beer department too with more choices. It's still not as attractive as a Ralphs Fresh Fare and seems to be lacking is some of the more 'Whole Foods' approaches other markets are taking. So Albertsons is still to me in LA what it was in FL. A market of last resort. read more

I'm a regular at this store and have been since it's existence in this valley. Today for the first time in the 11 years I've been bringing my service animal in, I got crap for having him in the store. He is small and I needed to get large bottles of water so I needed to push a cart as well. I lined the seat of the cart with a barrier and put my dog in the cart. It's never been a problem til today. I have only put my dog in the cart maybe a dozen times in the entirety of me coming in. He is clean, and extremely well behaved. So I don't see the problem. I've seen children vomit in the carts, dirty their diaper in the carts and wipe they're boogers in the carts. How is that any better? How? Not only that, they don't even bother to enforce the mask mandate in this place while there is literally a global pandemic still happening! Covid19 has killed half a million people and and store manager thought it was more important to give me grief about my little, clean, well trained dog, than enforce a mandate that is set to protect the health of the community. How does that make sense?? Do better and leave my service dog out of it! read more

Good clean store with better deals than the store on Copper Hill. You can always fine a "two for" deal here which is always good for when you wanna stock up on tea, cereal, and stuff like that. Typical grocery store but they lose points for closing before midnight. I go here for my produce because it isn't as expensive as other places. They have friendly butchers but a washed out, unattentive deli crew. Meat department has poor variety. Another stinger is the store GM, a total narcissist. It is tough to feed that guy profits, I do my best to limit my visits here. One attraction is the giveaway games they have. I never win anything but the gambler in me is drawn to them. In-store starbucks and banking. It is OK for a neighborhood grocery store but has no edge. I go here only when I'm lazy, otherwise I drive a little further to Trader Joes. read more

I hate this store! Stock is always horrible. Often, if something is out of stock they just fill it with something else, then it never gets ordered until what ever they put in its place is out. Then it only gets restocked if they don't find something else to put there. Then there is the floral department. Several times I've gone in to get balloons. You'd think it was simple enough. Yet they always seem to have trouble getting the order together. One time, they actually filled the balloons with helium and instead putting a knot on the ballon they just tied the ribbon around the opening. By the time I got home they were all deflated. Then there's the lines. Always long lines and no registers open. This an awful store. read more

Lately the produce has been unacceptable. The broccoli has gone bad with obvious parts cut off turned light green and yellow, and the cauliflower had too many brown spots . The mushroom over ripened slimy tomatoes squishy, and berries are moldy. This was today alone. How can you sell food like this. I have been shopping at this store since 1995 and in the past year it has gone down hill to the point where I feel I have to find another store. read more

I love shopping at my Albertsons on Bouquet Canyon in Saugus, and have been shopping there for several years. I am always greeted by several employees each time I visit, and although I am not related to anyone at the store, I feel like family every time I shop. Julie in the bakery, Adriana, and Michael in the deli,Brian working between deli, dairy and the meat department and Aaron in the dry goods always stop and say hello. In the meat department, Robert, Andy, Eleanor and Brad are always happy to serve. Ernie, the grocery manager, is always willing to go out of his way to help find or order items that I need. My favorite employee at checkout is Anna. She too is very friendly and helpful, always has a smile on her face, and we share our love for Disneyland. There are many local options for where I can shop, but Albertsons provides an all-around exceptional customer experience that keeps me excited to come back every time. read more

It was a mIckey train theme and I got a nice 2 tier round red velvet cake and the woman at the bakery suggested I put the track around to go along w/the theme. I bought a half sheet since we had almost 100 people and the cake was too small. She also suggested 24 cupcakes which were so cheap and she added mickey rings to them! (if you buy the rings alone at party city, would've been half of what I spent on the entire cupbakes) We had other desserts from Portos and people thought my cake came from there and they were shocked when I said albertsons because it was good. This one is for BAKERY!! ANNA and MARIA you too were amazing!!!! Thank you both very much! It was my son's 12th Birthday earlier in June and I placed an in order about a week before his Birthday. I had to change the date so I talked to Anna and she confirmed the change. The order sheet was already made with Anna before and she remembered me when I called. Maria was the Baker and her and I spoke a few days before the rescheduled pick up date and she let me know the picture I brought, when making the order with Anna, was folded in half and that she was going to try to fix the picture. Let me tell you Maria did an awesome job of flattening the picture as best as she could and blending because NO ONE really noticed the line down the middle except me because I of course knew about it. I ordered a Quater sheet I believe, Marble Cake with Whiiped Cream and I printed and brought a photo for the cake when placing the order. It was moisture and fresh and made my son super happy he said it was THE COOLEST cake! I love Albertson's bakery but Anna and Maria were the ones to make this happen! Extremely disappointed in their customer service towards young minorities. I decided to stop here at 6:30AM on my way to work just to grab some bagels and a snack for my coworkers and I. When I walk in the workers that are stocking see me and do not even greet me they just stare and turn away. I proceeded to make my way to the chip aisle passing 3 older ladies that worked there. Again starred at but never told anything. No good morning, no hello absolutely nothing. I got to the bagel aisle and noticed a bag of onion bagels laying on the floor. The man stocking around the area looked at me as if I dropped it when I barely got to the aisle and had not even been near the bagels yet. I proceeded to pick up the bagels and put them on shelf. No thank you he just looked and then turned his head. I really should of just left them on the floor and not been so nice to pick up something I did not drop after all I do not work there. However, I got my bagels and made my way to the only available register open. 1 older woman, 1 mid age man ahead of me all were greeted by the cashier with "good morning how is your morning". As soon as I got up to the register the cashier Nita did not say anything. No good morning no small talk she did not even look at me. She scanned my items proceeded to put the chips on the counter however the bag of bagels in a bag only and start to charge me for the bag. Mind you one she never asked if I needed a bag nor did she put the chips in the bag with the bagels. That did not make sense to me. But I told her I do not need a bag. She just said "K" again without looking at me. Felt like she was nervous of minorities. She had a very low voice I did not even hear her give me my total. But I gave her a 20$ she gave me my change and told me what I got back but nothing after that. I reached over the credit card machine to try and get my items since I am short I could hardly reach as they were closer to her. She pushed them to me and it was not until I told her have a good day that she told me have a good day. As I grabbed my items she started ringing the lady behind me up and told her good morning how are you. I felt so discriminated against. Everyone except the young minority gets customer service. Thats really horrible and albertsons needs to address this with all employees. I wont be going back here at all. read more

Nothing new about this place. Just a ur average grocery store. Come here often when I'm done with my trader joes shopping. Prices here are very inexpensive and competitive. Two good perks about this place is... 1) it has a Starbucks. 2) there are two Red Box kiosks. One thing i wish it had would be a Wells Fargo ATM and free wi-fi. Other than that its clean, friendly and has free samples at the bakery! read more

This update is to simply continue my dissatisfaction with their pricing. The store itself is very clean and staff generally friendly but they still continue with overpriced products overall, specially on produce. Of course you will always see a promotional price, every store does that. They have now started with this "must buy this amount" in order to get savings. Started with soft drinks but it's spreading all over now (and still the promotional price is not all that great). Avoid this chain of grocery store if you care for your money. If you work at the valley, stop at Super King on your way back home for your produce and meat. You will SAVE A LOT OF Money. Only then you will learn about the unfair prices practiced on Albertsons. read more

While I was shopping in this Albertson's, I noticed some people weren't wearing their masks and they were up close talking with each other. The employees in the store should be monitoring this action and either tell them to wear their masks and distance themselves from other customers or just kick them out of the store if they don't want to stay safe. We have been shopping at the Bouquet Albertsons for 5 years mainly because it is close by and we have been very pleased. The prices are higher than places like Vallarta, Smart and Final, Rite Aid and Costco. But they do have sales that are somewhat competitive. But their selection beats the others by a mile. Also the staff are fabulous. However, lately we have found that there are quality issues. Fruit: pears were rotting a day after purchased, Same for mandarin oranges. Berries are often moldy. Salt was rock hard. Tortillas broken. Bag of frozen chicken was sliced open. They are excellent in taking back this merchandize, but management doesn't seem to be taking action, yet. They just come up with a feeble excuse. They rarely thank for the feedback. The truth is that the purchases are cutting corners or not spot checking what is coming in. Also they no longer have a feedback option on their website. So, we are using YELP. One veggie guy Leroy? Lenny? when I complained to him about the moldy berries went back and got me berries for free!! and they lasted for two weeks in our fridge. Thanks, guy!! BOTTOM LINE: We are still a loyal customer, overall it still is a great store, but we are just a bit more leery. read more

This is my favorite grocery store in Santa Clarita!!! Been coming here since I was a kid and I have never had a bad experience ever. Great prices. Outstanding customer service. Fresh produce. I absolutely love Kimberley at Starbucks. She makes the best drinks ever. I can never remember a drink and she will always make it perfect and she is super sweet! I really enjoy being able to get my coffee and do my grocery shopping at the same time. The young girl at the flower counter is wonderful. I recently came here with my grandma and the young man that helped us with the self checkout was such a sweetheart and so helpful. He was very patient with my grandma and explained all the coupons she had me save in my Albertsons app. He went above and beyond to help us and that is appreciated. My grandma just raved about him all the way home. When I stop by next time I'll get his name and email the manager to say what a wonderful employee he is. All the employees are just awesome!!!! My regular store even before it became Albertson's. But, recently, and it is 100% a training issue, the "baggers" are horrible and don't have a clue. Today-10lb bag of potato's and my bananas in same bag. Why bring an insulated bag if dairy, refrigerated items, and several cans of soup placed in plastic bag, and lastly, produce and other cans of soup placed in 3rd plastic bag. Last week, ice cream and boxes of cereal in plastic bag rather than provided insulated bag for frozen/refrigerated items. Maybe if managers started managing rather than stocking shelves, the problem will get better. read more

This is my local grocery store and I can say it is so easy to shop here with aisles and products clearly labeled. They have Organics products at a low price and the produce/ bakery/ meats department are always fresh! They have a great flower selection as well. It's not the best Albertsons, but it's the one nearest my house. The folks who work here are friendly, and they generally have enough of what we need to keep us stocked for dinner.
