Have to shout out to this location and the people who work there, especially LAUREN!! This store has always had an amazing crew but Lauren has gone above and beyond in my last two visits. a couple weeks ago she stopped in her tracks to talk all things lemon with me & my daughters and then proceed to open a cake & cut us a slice so we could try it. I know they are allowed to do this, but I appreciated her enthusiasm & engagement which were so sincere. We saw her again this week & she immediately stopped to say hi, and wished me a happy birthday which she was aware of from our previous visit. She ended up checking us out & gifted me some flowers for my big day. I hope she knows she's my friend now! Hahaha! But truly; I have been to Trader Joe's in many neighborhoods & have been a loving customer for over 25 years. While I've come to expect kind people, and fun interactions, but very few really make it extra special just by being themselves. Thank you Lauren! Keep wearing your heart on your sleeve & spreading love. Compliments to Leo for keeping this store top notch & recruiting great people. And a last shout out to Connor who is upbeat & awesome every time we see him as well!!

My wife and I stopped by this Trader Joe's location today because we were in the area and she wanted her yogurt. When we came, we got the parking close to the entrance. This location seems to be bigger than other store I been to. They are also more busier because I think it's in a plaza with other stores like Best Buy. This Trader Joe's is much more roomy inside and doesn't feel small. The produce area are on the right side of the store and the yogurt is toward the back. My wife found the yogurt she like and also some raspberry as well. If you shop here then you already know the prices are higher here compared to regular grocery store. They also have people in the parking lot selling some fruits as well. There no self checkout station but they have more cashier station so we were able to pay quickly and leave. They also have a little game if you know where the bird is then you'll get a lollipop. The cashier we had today was very nice, funny and friendly.

There's nothing bad to say about this location. First and foremost, parking is easy and available. As it's part of a strip mall. As others have lots that so small that waiting for a parking really deter you from going in. This location, decent size and very friendly. As they all are.

I finally found the gf strawberry muffins

I've been coming to this location for a while but then again it's the only Trader Joe's in Santa Clarita. Parking lot is in a large shopping plaza however the spaces to park are small, you gotta squeeze yourself in there like a sardine. I usually park closer to Best Buy as it's a little less crowded on that end and walk over. Inside is a good size, still small but with lots to offer. If you can't find anything there is always someone on the floor to ask. They have a variety of items, the price tags will indicated a V or GF on them so you don't have to stop and look at the ingredient list, which makes it a lot easier for me to shop. They also have a speciality item end cap for what's in for the month.. it's strawberry season now, so I finally found the gf strawberry muffins in stock and let's just say you won't be disappointed, the perfect amount of sweetness. Now onto checking out, all lanes are open so you don't have to wait in line longer than you expected. Checkout process is quick, even if you have a lot of items in your basket. Most of the cashiers are friendly, and I always try to go in line to the cashiers that have helped me plenty of times, as there is always a good interaction with them. You can also buy paper bags for 10 cents or let them pack it in your reusable ones. And If you have any heavy items that you can't lift out your cart ask for assistance and they'll help ya to your car.

I come here for all of my grocery needs. I love their produce selection, it's always in season and fresh. I love their specialty items that they craft, their frozen options especially!! They have a great cheese and cracker section. There's plenty for gluten and dairy free people to choose from. Even vegans! They do have premade marinated meat and I love these options, honestly there's no shortage of quick meals to prepare here. Throw together the lentils and bruschetta for instance and use it as a dip for crackers! They have seasonings that are to die for too. Their baked items are great, fantastic low prices on wine, and the flowers!! I bought a few bouquets of flowers so I could create my own and it came out so well. Parking isn't easy, be patient and you'll get a spot. Bring your own bags with you! The store layout is clean and easy to navigate. The workers are all great people, happy to assist you and help in any way.

Second tub of parm to go bad within 10 days.
    Missy L.

As stated in my original post, I'm super careful with food from the moment of purchase to ensure that they do not go bad. After I wrote the first review I didn't have a complaint for a couple of years. Then bam! During the last few months I've had 2 tubs of parmesan, a carton of milk, and half and half become rancid way, way, before their time. What happened???? BTW, I've been buying grated parmesan regularly here for over a decade and this is the first time it's gone bad - twice within months!

While I was in line, an elderly woman ahead of me was struggling to find her Amazon Prime number to receive her discount, holding up a long line in the process. The cashier, Opal, was extraordinarily patient. She didn't rush her, didn't sigh, and didn't treat her like an inconvenience. Instead, she calmly walked her through how to locate the number on her phone, ensured she received the savings she was entitled to, and graciously answered multiple questions afterward. It was genuine kindness -- not performative, not transactional -- just respectful and thoughtful service. What made it even more special was that the manager on duty, Gina, came over to bag groceries at our line. As Opal was ringing up my order, I asked Gina if she was Opal's manager. You could see a split-second look cross her face, as though she were bracing for a complaint. But I quickly told her that Opal had delivered exemplary customer service to the woman ahead of me. Gina was visibly relieved and appreciative when she realized it was praise. And Opal heard the whole exchange! It was such a sweet moment. In a world where people are quick to criticize and slow to compliment, this interaction truly stood out. Opal treated that customer with dignity and patience, and Gina clearly fosters a culture where that kind of service is encouraged. Whole Foods should be proud to have both of them.

I have been a loyal customer of this store for over 10 years. I have purchased hundreds of bouquets…read moreand countless other items here over the years. Yesterday's experience was so frustrating and upsetting that I honestly don't feel like returning anytime soon. I needed flowers for my niece's preschool graduation. Unfortunately, most of the bouquets in the floral department looked semi-wilted and far from fresh. After searching, I found one bouquet in a bucket that looked acceptable, but it needed wrapping. The bouquet was priced at $35. I asked the employee in the floral department, McKenzie, if she could add wrapping paper. She told me she could, but that it would be an extra charge. I was confused because every other bouquet in the department already had wrapping paper. After I questioned it, she reluctantly wrapped the flowers, but the result was rushed, sloppy, and unprofessional, with visible tape making the bouquet look unfinished and unattractive. I politely asked if she could at least add a short ribbon to cover the tape and make the bouquet look presentable for a graduation gift. She immediately said no and told me she would have to charge $5 for a small ribbon and send me off to front checkout although I always pay for flowers in the floral register . Throughout the interaction, her attitude was dismissive, rude, and unwelcoming. At one point, she even instructed me to stay behind the line in a manner that felt unnecessarily harsh and disrespectful. I asked her to check with a manager. She spoke to someone and returned saying the answer was still no. When I later spoke with a manager myself, I initially received little help. I was ready to leave the bouquet behind and walk out of the store when another manager stepped in and asked what had happened. I showed him the bouquet. To his credit, he immediately agreed that the wrapping was unacceptable and apologized for the experience. He personally escorted me back to the floral department and asked McKenzie to rewrap the bouquet properly and add a ribbon. Even then, McKenzie remained visibly annoyed. The way she handed the finished bouquet back to me felt almost as if she was throwing it at me. That was my final straw. I left the store feeling upset, shaken, and deeply disappointed. One employee's poor attitude can undo years of customer loyalty . I want to thank the manager who stepped in and resolved the issue professionally. Unfortunately, the behavior I experienced from McKenzie was some of the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time. Employees like this can seriously damage the welcoming atmosphere that has kept customers like me coming back for years.

THE WORST customer service from any grocery store in the Santa Clarita Valley…read more On Sunday, I went in and Frida was extremely rude. She had no sense of urgency when assisting customers. While I was waiting at the register for her to ring me up, the least she could have done was acknowledge me and say she'd be right with me, but instead she kept talking with her coworkers. Once she finally started ringing me up, she began grabbing the hand basket on the conveyor belt and mumbling to herself, seeming upset. I mentioned that everything I had was already rung up and that the basket wasn't mine. She then started shouting at me, saying she knew that. Then, when it came time for payment, she began shouting at me again because apparently I was "taking too long," even though the screen was prompting me to wait for the cashier. She kept yelling that she was waiting on me and telling me to "go." When I called the store to complain, the floor manager said she would pass the message along and that the store manager would reach out. Well, here we are four days later and still no call from the store manager. I have only visited this store a handful of times, and every experience has involved awful customer service. I will never shop here again. That was the last straw. If employees don't want to assist customers, then please consider adding self-checkout stations.
