Ordered 4 suits, returned 3 of them. They claim to have only received 2 of them, so I was charged for the 3rd one, which I absolutely did return in the exact package as the other 2. When I ask what their pathway to file a returns claim is, they say there is no such pathway. So now I have paid for a very expensive swim suit which I returned to them. I understand that either party could be mistaken in a situation like this, but a.) any other company would have handled this very differently and b.) after researching return issues with this company, I see that others had similar experiences with returns. Wow I rarely write reviews for a business unless there's something exceptionally good about them and want to shine a light on the business or a particular individual. In this case it's the opposite, I'm afraid. I felt compelled to write a review because I was left so angry by my experience I hope others don't have it in the future. Also important to note they are NOT accredited with the Better Business Bureau. The sizes of these bathing suits are very weird. I usually wear the same size and both suit pieces ran very big on me. When I tried to make an exchange for one of the pieces in a smaller size, they sent the wrong piece. When I tried to remedy the situation and get the right piece sent to me in exchange they then said they received the original item without a tag and it "smelled" which was particularly strange and offensive given I had literally tried this piece on and decided I didn't want it and sent it back. They said there was nothing they could do. They didn't even offer to give me an exchange let alone any refunds. So now I'm out over $100 and have one piece of a 2 piece suit I will likely never wear because it won't match anything else and this company was so rude I don't even want the bad energy. Do not purchase from this company, or just be prepared not to return or exchange anything successfully. Horrible. read more

I like this is a local Utah owned store. Great styles but I would say inconsistent sizing. I have had great customer service each time I have been in a store and recently I ordered a number of items on the phone from the Murray store and the girl was a delight. She was helpful in searching for specific items and then helped to order the ones I needed that were not in stock at the store. Here's the downfall of the order on the phone. It was supposed to be 3 to 5 business days and for some reason the order didn't get filled by their company for two additional days after the order was placed causing a delay in getting the items on time. I had to find alternative items from a different store and now am taking back these items when they come and will be out the shipping fee. These processes are why I would likely not make this my first stop for shopping. Too bad because I want to shop local 1st. read more

Not 8 dollars for shipping, but 8 dollars for any item, even if shipped together snd shipped back together, and that's on top of shipping cost!!! Um, nah. That is absurd. So I actually liked a couple things, but I was put off that they charge 8 dollars to try on everything I would not buy from them again. That feels like a scam. I get shipping fees. I ordered a suit from here for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. Loved the suit but it did not fit right. Too big in some places and just right in others. After trying to call to exchange, email to exchange, then finally getting to an online chat, I find the ONLY way to can "exchange" it to buy another suit then send the order number and they will then send you a label. So why would I buy yet another suit that doesn't fit without anyway to return it? I finally asked for the address to return and said I would do so at my expense just to get it out of here. Too bad their service is so bad. I really loved the suit but will not deal with an online service that has not customer service. Really never had to buy something in order to exchange something else. I had a horrible experience with Albion. the first swim top was so small that it cut off my circulation. I had to pay to ship it back and swap it out for a new size. the second one, a medium, was falling off. so I sent that back as a return instead of exchange because I gave up on finding one that would fit. They charged me shipping again and then refused to return it because they found a small spot of makeup where I tried it on. Amazingly, the one I mailed back first to exchange also had a small amount of makeup as well but they were fine with that because it was an exchange. And yes, the tags were still on it. They literally emailed me to ask if I wanted them to ship it back to me, for another fee, or just throw it away. I kid you not!! I've probably spent $20 in shipping trying to find the right size and now I'll have a swim top that's 3 sizes too big. I will never shop from them again. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have not owned a pretty, nice fitting, well made suit in years. I bought one after seeing an ad on Instagram and loved it so much, I bought two more! My first purchase was The Maria in a gorgeous green floral with mesh neckline and my second purchase was the same suit in solid black. I mixed it up on my third purchase and bought the Island one piece. They are so comfortable you don't spend the day adjusting yourself. They also have an easy return policy. The swim suit was cute, but it just simply didn't work for me, so I decided I wouldn't order another one from them and I would return it. READ THE FINE PRINT OF RETURN POLICY. The bathingsuit is crazy expensive, and they don't even cover the cost of the shipping return fee. It was a measly $5. So basically, I paid $13 to try on and return a bathingsuit and they refused to refund their side of the shipping. Terrible. Really cute store and spacious fitting room!! Staff/store is very family friendly. I love their Antigua (navy/blue floral) pattern! It's adorable! Unfortunately, the seams of the 3/4 length leggings of it I have unraveled and it stretched out pretty fast (and I'm really small!). It also lost colour after a few washes (even when I hand washed cold, and air dried). Similar thing happened to my shorts that were in the slate print. They host fun activities/classes from time to time where they partner with other businesses in Salt Lake like wreath making and calligraphy. Fun girls night. This is a great place if you're looking for some cute loungewear that are in-style and have the money for it! I bought several items at the Scottsdale store while on vacation, but when I got home to Southern UT I realized the swimming suit cover up I purchased was dry clean only--who would make a swimsuit cover up dry clean only?! Needless to say I am trying to return it and it is quite a difficult process. The chat representative seemed like a perky little snit and made me feel as if I were wasting her time. After the chat, I still had to go to another site to get the return process going. Now, after reading a review about someone having their return lost, I'm a little leery to send it by mail. And I find there is a fee for returns for refunds but not a fee to return if you exchange (exchanges cost the company two way shipping and returns only one, so be prepared to be punished for returning your store bought items by mail--nuts!). This was my first Albion purchase, so I'm hoping that the two skirts I also bought will change my mind about the quality and price of the product. I would really like to support this new and ethical company, but they are making it a bit hard! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Wish I could give 0 stars. Their customer service was extremely rude. I processed an exchange and they give you a post office slip...who uses the post office who charges this much for suits? I emailed to check on my return and they said they haven't received it and asked the tracking number...it is USPS and YOUR label, not mine! Then they only processed half of my order when they received the top and bottom and said I "did it wrong and should have sent 2 bags to go to the exact same place." What kind of company that charges this much for their product accuse the customer of being wrong when clearly it was them, tell me I cannot return the bottoms (well, duh because you have them) because "I missed the deadline," and wants to charge me to return the top. NO BUSINESS SHOULD PRACTICE LIKE THIS. I am taking this up with the cc company, because OF COURSE they are not BBB accredited or they would not be around. I will update my review and change the rating if they actually fix this, allow me to return the top, and receive a full refund for the top and bottom. Oh and the top had makeup on it! My friend and I enjoy working out together, and we have always loved the clothing from Albion Fit but have never purchased something from this store before. We were really excited to have our first experience today and give this local business a try. The first half of our visit was extremely pleasant. Very great customer service (I wish I remembered her name.. but the girl with brown and blue-ish hair was AWESOME and so sweet to us). We were making a return on a Christmas present, and the item wanted for exchange was out of stock. This employee explained that the size was at the warehouse and would be restocked within 40 minutes. When we came back, another girl was there to check us out. She had black hair and was wearing a fuchsia blazer. We explained to her that we wanted to exchange the original item for the new item and pay the difference. However, due to the fact that they were a gift, they were bought with a different credit card. She ended up putting the money back on the original buyers card, which is NOT what was expected. My friend was forced to make the purchase on her own card. We were not happy about this due to the fact that my friend explained that she did not want the original buyer to know that she returned the item, since it was a gift. But, an email had already been sent to the original buyer. This employee was extremely rude about her mistake and did not apologize or offer any alternative option. She was cold, unfriendly, and made us feel very uncomfortable. I would have given this experience and business one star, but we were really impressed and appreciated the original employee helping us out. I will not be visiting again soon, and do not plan on ordering any items from this store. I would recommend that anyone buying from Albion Fit should go ahead and buy online instead of interacting with the employees at this location. read more

I was traveling and had forgotten my swim suit at home. I found Albion online and placed a late night order plus an additional $29.95 for overnight/2-day shipping. I called and emailed them the next day to confirm they could meet my delivery timeline, which they assured me they could. I was skeptical because of the Thanksgiving holiday just 2 days away PLUS they chose to ship USPS instead of UPS or FedEx, which make those deliveries. USPS sent me a text guaranteeing delivery no later than 6PM on Friday, November 26. I was checking out of the hotel the next morning, so I wasn't very happy, but whatever; right? Actually, no. By check out at 9:30 AM 11/27 it hadn't yet arrived. I advised the hotel to refuse delivery and left. I notified Albion and advised them of the facts. They acknowledge that I never received their product and is in the possession of the hotel, that I paid extra for 1-2-day delivery, but refuse to refund my money until the hotel returns their merchandise. I have had to open a charge-back dispute with my bank, to which Albion issued me a threat that if I do that they will not refund my money for 75-days. They are UNETHICAL and have shady business practices. read more

I returned swim bottoms that were too small. I contacted them just within the return time frame (quite strict), and they did not respond with a shipping label. Contacted them several times in the following week and finally they shared a shipping label. They do not answer phones, btw. The swim bottoms were in mint condition, with the tag (i.e. tag with bar code) included in the package. They will not accept the returned item if you have tried it on (and therefore removed the liner). What in the world? No other company during the pandemic has had such a strict return policy. We are all reliant on trying things on at home and returning them right now. The contacted me to let me know I had a week to request they send the item back, or they would dispose of it. Their email went to my spam (and they KNOW that customers are frequently not getting their emails in their inbox), so I did not see it until a week after they had sent it. So, LOTS of money (swim bottoms were very expensive) down the drain. And I could have bought something equivalent at H&M for $50 less, with a much more flexible return policy.
