I inquired about placing a custom cupcake order for an event i had coming up. I filled out the contact form and was contacted by the owner within 24 hours. While she is very friendly, this is not a business I would recommend. I told her that I was interested in custom cupcakes and provided her with the date. She immediately responded by saying that they don't normally so cupcakes but that she could accommodate the request. It wasn't until I told her that I needed 2 dozen that she stopped responding completely. Perhaps this wasn't profitable for her? Could be. Nonetheless, SUPER unprofessional with the lack of follow up to advise. Please don't try to k*ll me with kindness when you get the custom order request only to find out that you don't want to do it because it's not going to be worth your while. Needless to say, I found another bakery who was MORE than willing to take my money. Steer completely clear of this business if you're the type of person who believes people are gonna do what they say they're gonna do. read more

We popped in today (August 2023) after we went to check on new place (still in process of being built). This place is adorable!! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything is baked with thoughtfulness and love. I don't love lemon - I had a lemon tart and it was LEMONY. My daughter LOVES them. I've never had anything at Alchemy that wasn't delicious. I bought 2 small Crème Brûlée, 2-2in. lemon tarts and a vanilla cupcake and it was $31. Not bad had any of them tasted good. Crème Brûlée was very watery and even after refrigerated, they were still bad. Lemon tart???? Where's the lemon? How can you make a bad vanilla cupcake? Ask them. We had Alchemy create our custom dessert bar for our wedding this last February. This was hands down the most BEAUTIFUL dessert display I've ever seen! More than a month later, our guests are still telling our family and friends how delicious the desserts were- and how creative they were! From the start, Alchemy was the only dessert company that was willing to adapt their current menu to fit our vision for the day, even to the point where they were willing to create new desserts. She was timely and flexible throughout the 2 years we worked with her (especially after we had to delay our wedding the first time with COVID!). Kady was texting us a week after she delivered her BABY to ensure that we had everything finalized down to the tee. She was transparent when supply chain issues or price gauges would effect the price of our desserts. Ok so my job supplied lunch today and the dessert was from Alchemy Bake Lab, rice crispy treats and a raspberry? tart. I was shocked by how delicious both of these treats were! The tart was just what I needed, not overly sweet but great flavor. The crispies had glitter on them! They were also the best rice crispies I've ever had which is random but true!
