I usually do not write reviews about people in the service industry. Today I made an online order purchasing something that was not available. They had not updated that on the website. I was not notified until I got there and decided to get something else. Which I did not mind. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for them to complete the order which I did not mind. However I forgot to ask if they had put regular or oat milk in my order. It did not cross my mind since on the online order I specifically put oat milk. I called after leaving the cafe because when I took a sip of my drink something did not taste right. I tried calling later on again and they finally answered confirming that the drink did in fact have regular milk. I believe they need to be more careful in the way they handle future costumers. I will say the cafe is quite cute but my experience was not the best.

Stopped in after seeing this place on TikTok. I got the Yemeni Coffee and my companion got a mojito smoothie. We also got a slice of chocolate cake. Service was polite and the barista explained every question asked. The inside space is beautifully decorated and even has games like Jenga, blocks and cards to entice you to hang out. Food review: Yemeni coffee was lava hot but after cooling down I found it has a lovely nutty flavor! Mojito refresher was delicious! Cake was moist and delicious! 10/10 will be back!

The food is SPECIAL. I highly recommend the lotus crepe if you're in the mood for a sweet breakfast. The cafe is gorgeous and the workers are lovely. This spot is a gem. I want a huge fan of the strawberry mocha but their regular lattes and such are great.

Truly a hidden gem. Nestled in a strip mall next to Harbor Freight, this wonderful cafe has an unassuming store front. But, stepping inside transcends you to a new place with a luxurious feel. The dim lighting and open floor plan instantly relaxes you. The coffee flavor is uniquely, but pleasantly, robust. The employees were friendly and helpful. Just one thing to point out, if you're using a credit card, there is a $0.29 surcharge added to your order total.

I chose this place to work with my team today. It's so cute inside and everything I had was fantastic. I had an iced pistachio latte with oatmilk (best latte I've had in a while)!! I also had a chicken and cheese manakeesh. I took home a Biscoff tiramisu cup and cinnamon bites, which my kids loved and helped me polish off! Will definitely be going back here!

This local coffee shop is on Summer Avenue. I saw it a couple months ago and wanted to visit and check it out. My friend and I decided to go and have Bible study there yesterday. The place is decorated very nicely with lights, tables, chairs, and sofas. It's very clean and, modern looking. It was very quiet when we were there and others came to buy coffee and desserts. There are games for kids to play with on a shelf. They serve an Arabic breakfast, many types of coffee, desserts, date concoctions which is made in house. There were smoothies and lattes. Another couple ordered tea and the teapot was so pretty and elegant. My coffee had spices in it that made it taste differently but in a good way. Our cake we split was very good and not that sweet. It was perfect! Shout out to our server, Mohammad, because he was so friendly and help us with the menu and which coffees to order. This place is great for working, studying or just relaxing. They serve a very authentic Ethiopian coffee! Please come and support them. They need more people to come check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Aldar Cafe is a gem. It seems to be new in Memphis, and I'm here for it. The decoration, the music, the tidiness, and spacious floor is a home run. Most importantly, the coffee is outstanding. I enjoyed their Turkish Coffee! Actually, I was super hyped to see this on the menu and it didn't disappoint. Served hot and with some vigor--absolutely amazing. The iced shaken espresso was also superbly delicious with a hint of cinnamon. They have pastries as well such as cheese danishes which paired well with the coffee. Another detail worth mentioning is the 10/10 service. Loved it all, and I will be back!

Whether you are a coffee aficionado or a coffee newbie, this is a must-try! They opened recently and are currently hosting coffee tastings every Saturday and Sunday, at 11 AM and 3 PM. At the tasting, you get to try 5 versions of their coffee, as well as some pastries. The owner also educates you about Yemeni coffee. I highly recommend booking this experience first if you are curious about their products. If you're ready to buy a drink, they make an amazing mocha latte! I also recommend the "bee bites" as a snack. The inside of the cafe is cozy, beautiful and clean. All of the staff were friendly and highly knowledgable as well. Please go support this new business!

The service was excellent. We loved the atmosphere and the Cascara Coffee was great. My daughter does not like coffee but she really loved this. We had Bee bites and a Baklava slice. We are definitely going again.

Coffee is great and ambiance is excellent. Could be great to work or study with your laptop. Pastries are not the best I've had but pretty decent to try. I like the pistachio baklava.

I happened to be in the area so distance didn't factor. There were 2 parking spaces available when I arrived....success!!! There is a kiosk for you to order from. I would have preferred to order with a person - but ok. Placed my order and could watch them make my food. I ordered a slim pizza and a cinnamon roll. (Pizzas are ordered by size. Slim is a smaller pizza and husky is a larger size). My pizza came out hot and fresh. Sauce to meat and cheese ration was great. I really did like the pizza. Now I am a cinnamon roll aficionado. So there was a high standard to meet here. Unfortunately, they fell very short with the cinnamon roll. It was not fresh and seemed to have been microwaved. It was hard on top and gummy throughout. I asked for a different one. One that was fresh. They were happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, the fresher one was the same way. So the cinnamon roll was a 1 out of 10. But, the pizza was an 8.5 out of 10. Go for the pizza....

She was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The portions are massive and the flavor intense. Jacob got the salad which had way more on it than explained. He loved it. I got the truffle sandwich and it was absolutely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It had two giant fried tenders on it which were juicy and crispy with their amazing wingman sauce. It also had a truffle aioli that was subtle but definitely delicious. The fries are season and crispy on the outside but creamy on the inside. We got the wingman platter. For the love of God this was incredible. The wings were juicy as well as nicely crispy. The flavors, now here's where they hit. There was a honey mustard, wingman, lemon pepper and a type of jerk curry. Well let's say this, I NEVER dipped. Not once. The seasoning on every one of these was magnificent. The curry was my favorite. It had a unique flavor with a kick. Best wings Ever!!! The place earns its name. We also had the rolls which were spicy and flavorful. Wouldn't pass on those either. We asked the concierge and she suggested two options of coffee shop and chess club. My granddaughter decided on chess club. When you first walked in the door, it's a nice cozy, rustic floor, wooden floor, and nice artifacts everywhere and the tables were amazing cause they were designed for chess players. There were some nice sitting comfort chairs and everything looked very historic like the Memphis area. They had an array of sandwiches and salads and pizza and coffees and desserts with the cookies and the brownies. If you just want to curl up and read a good book and have a snack, this is the best place. The service was fantastic. They were very accommodating and very patient with our incisions with all the fantastic choices they provided.
