I had a disappointing experience with this company. A rat chewed through our duct work, and it needed to be repaired. After having an exterminator deal with the rats, I called ALDO. Rafael said he would visit our home, but didn't show. After contacting him again, he said he would send a quote, which he never did. I mistakenly called him again when trying to reach another company. He then said he didn't want to come out due to the rodent issue. It would have been nice to hear him be upfront on this versus not following through on his commitments and wasting our time. read more

I bought my condo back in November and at that time, the inspector couldn't check the AC due to the colder temperatures outside. However, the heating worked so we assumed the AC did too. Now that the heat is coming, turns out the AC did not blow out cold air after all. I put in a request with my home warranty company ORHP and Aldco got assigned. I gave the number a call and managed to get an appointment for the next day. I also received a call half an hour in advance to notify me of his arrival. Now, I have had a handful of people looking at that AC unit in the past few months as I've had the thermostat replaced and the heat checked etc. Never has anyone noticed that my old R22 unit was out of freon, or that there was a leak which let the freon out in the first place. Rafael however, immediately noticed this and resolved the issue. I think it took him about 10 minutes on my roof in total to sort it all out. He was very friendly and also took time to explain the issue to me and recommend that it would be best to service the unit every year before summer, seeing as it's an older one. I very much appreciate the effort, professionalism and efficiency with which my issue was handled! I can't really comment on pricing, as I paid the flat call-out fee my warranty company has. read more

The home warranty company called another business first to deal with my a/c just dying on a late Monday afternoon in 111 heat. We got confirmation they'd call the next day and set up an appointment. After 3 calls on Tuesday going to voice mail and the temp in the house climbing to over 90, warranty company called them and found out...oops...they were booked til middle of the next week. Then they called Aldco Air. They performed as they said they would on everything.They gave us a time window for Wednesday afternoon. Promised to call prior to arriving and they did. They were prepared for the repair, the 113 degree heat with an umbrella to shade them on the roof and in 90 minutes it was done and running again. The guys who came, led by Johnny, were terrific, friendly and offered advice on how to maintain the unit that had not been done. I recommend them highly and I hope the warranty company calls them first next time. read more

Our A/C unit needed to be replaced - we accidentally found Aldco through our home warranty company - but, ultimately chose to work with Aldco directly. Besides being reasonably-priced with quality equipment, Rafael and team are amazing, on-time, efficient, neat, and very thorough. Although our new A/C was installed (along with new heater) in April, when it was 'warm', they didn't yet test the heater. They then returned in November to complete hooking up the heater with one-day notice - and quickly finished the install. I can't recommend them highly enough! Great find! read more

Very professional company. Received a price quote which I found reasonable compared to other companies. Appointment made a few days later. They were in touch via texting advising when they would arrive, and arrived when they said they would ~~ on time!!! The techs laid down tarps to protect carpet. The installation went very well and quick. I do not plan to ever go to any other company for my hv/ac issues. I've used a few in the past and Aldco Air far surpasses them in every way. ALDCO Air and Rafael are the best. Honest, knowledgeable, reliable and integrity are words that come to mind. Rafael literally saved me from getting totally scammed by another AC company for literally $4-8K a few weeks ago. Thank goodness I held off and got a second opinion. I can't say enough good things about finding such a reputable company and I am grateful. Rafael was determined to find the cause of a mysterious issue and finally got to the bottom of it after an hour. It turned out to be a much less expensive ($250) fix that was covered by my home repair insurance policy. I will never call another company for our A/C. Had 2 other companies which were highly recommended to fix a problem - Both said I needed a new "slab coil" for our 3 1/2 ton A/C. One said at a cost of $3200 and the other said $2000. I called Aldco who quoted $1800 so had them come out. Rafael A. the Technician with Aldo diagnosed the problem immediately - Was a clogged main drain which caused overflow from the pan to run down the outside of my condo. He unclogged the main drain and the water began to flow out. Charge was a total of $75. I've also recommended this company to my property manager who had recommended the first company I called. read more

My tenant was having issues with the air conditioner as it was turning on, but was not cooling. They had called a company to assess the situation and were told the whole unit had to be replaced at a cost of $7,000!!! Once I found out about the situation, I called my home warranty company, OLD Republic Home Protection. They told me they had placed a service order for ALDCO Air who is their service provider for my area. I placed the call today, thinking it would be a few days before someone came by to assess. Luckily, I was wrong. The lady I spoke to, set up an appointment and told me that if there were any openings they would give me a call as soon as possible. We had our heater (HVAC) repaired last December under our home warranty. That technician struggled and it didn't seem to heat as well as we thought it should, but this was our first winter in the house. Come the first hot weather here in the desert, our air conditioner was doing the same - running all the time but unable to reach temp. Called the home warranty company again and this time we had ALDCO Air come out! What a difference! As we suspected the heating repair was not done properly (incorrectly wired). I guess it is a more difficult and rarer system. The ALDCO tech knew exactly what the problem was and had our AC cooling in no time. Since we had to pay a house call fee anyways, the tech took the time to check out both of our units. He was professional and showed up when promised. Do not use this company. They came out three times during the summer and since it was through my home warranty company they replaced my condenser, but that wasn't it, they then replaced my compressor, but that wasn't it. I told them I thought it was the fan which it was. I was without air for a week. Now ac is making a horrible rattle and they won't stand by their warranty. Technicians got into a fight in my drive way. Yelling and cussing at each other. DO NOT USE them. read more
