I WAS NOT IMPRESSED!! I was so excited that there's a new chain of supermarket coming that is cheaper than Trader Joe's (TJ's) and carries organic produce. I heard this is somehow related to Trader Joe's. If this is the case, ALDI is a step child? What happened to the QUALITY? I appreciate ALDI is trying to keep the costs down by us bagging our own groceries, which is no biggy. I've done it many times at Food 4 Less. Insert a quarter to retrieve a cart and get it back when you lock the cart (need to remember to carry a quarter). What I was not impressed with was the quality of their produce. It seemed equivalent to the 99 Cents Store and there's a very limited selection of meat. This is a mini supermarket with a little bit of everything, including a garden aisle with flower stands. There's no staff walking around to ask a question. When I got to the register, there were 6 customers with one cashier, but they did eventually open up another register. First time experience and will not be return. I will go back to my beloved TJ's with their fresh organic produce, better value, and friendly staff. I came here with my kids, prices are great but the Cashiers there hate their job. I have little kids and shopping is already a battle. So I have my kids buckled in the shopping cart, I unload my things on the conveyor belt and then I proceed to pay. The cashier placed my items into another cart, meanwhile my kids are in the cart I came with, so I proceed to leave with 2 carts and the cashier says to me i need that cart right now, (the one my kids are in), so in the middle of the exist I have to i load my kids into the other cart. Wow thanks for making my life easy. Also I brought my bags with me because that's what you do now and he didn't put one item in my bag. I had to put the things in my bags at the car, I see people walking out with items in their bags. I hope the Cashiers read this and either quit or learn how to better serve your clients. Like I said prices are good but be prepared to face bad service. read more

My new budget friendly grocery store! I don't really come For the produce but I come for other stuff, like juice, snacks, etc. I tired their pizza that's at the back of the store, refrigerated area and it was pretty good. Pizza was so big it barely fit in my oven at home. I like their cost saving mentality. Items are still in the big boxes but still neat. You have to bring your own grocery bags though. read more

First time I went was apprehensive about it, but now I go weekly because they have great deals on a lot of products and produce is pretty good . Only drawback is bring your own bag or you have to purchase one of theirs which isn't so bad read more

I agree with the last two reviews. This is a very good place to shop and save a lot of money. I have gone to the one in Cerritos a number of times besides the one in Buena Park once. Both stores are identical. BTW, Aldi is the parent company of Trader Joe's which speaks well of them. read more

Great selections and amazing prices!! Remember to BAGS! Don't be alarmed at the long lines because the checkers scan super fast! Box your stuff before you leave. You'll save at least 1/3 off your traditional grocery store bill depending upon what you buy. Plus, it takes way less time. For sure a must visit, just like Trader Joe's but better!! read more

Aldi is what would happen if the 99 Cents Only Store married Grocery Outlet and had a kid. No selection for certain categories (like sandwich bags, for instance). Produce quality was uneven. But some truly low prices can be had on certain items if you search those out. The staff is especially friendly, and hopefully that will be sustained over time. Check-out is like learning a new skill on the computer. Once you get the hang of the quirkiness, you'll be OK. Will give them another try or two, but not rushing back, either. read more

First off, let me say that I am a daily Aldi shopper! I'm in often enough, that this store's staff know me on-site, as I them! And right off the bat, let me also say I couldn't be happier with all, (save one!), of my experiences there! My one drawback, is not so much on this store or its staffing? But with Aldi's Corp., and its ability to service its stores? This store in particular seems victim to this! More than once, I have gone in the morning, only to find staples were not on there shelves? Staples like eggs and 2% milk, and the like? When ask, I was told these items weren't on the truck! In one case, I was told they expected emergency re-orders by 12 noon? When I returned, I found only 5 1gal. milk jugs on the refer. shelves. And that the Store Manager had to physically go themselves to another store to do a stock transfer! It's not this store's fault! But Aldi Corp. really needs to address this obvious problem! read more

The super market just opened, and I love the concept. The produce is great, the items are different and the brands are some that I've never seen before, but the quality is just as good, if not better. The aisles are clean and spacious and the cashier was very friendly. The best thing about this place- the prices. We had a full basket and only paid, $50.00. I can't wait to come back! read more

I was disappointed with the level of quality in food products. I bought processed meat and dairy product at this location about a few months ago. I called the corporate customer service to complain. The customer service promised me to reimburse the money I spent for the products, but, they never sent me the check. read more

Good prices, but didn't like the service. Looking at all the reviews I thought I knew what to expect. I brought my quarter, my own bags, thinking I had to bag my own stuff, but my friend said they bagged her groceries for her & in the aisle next to me, the guy bagged for 2 different customers. So when I opened my bags in my cart, the cashier just threw my stuff right next to them & didn't say anything. After unloading my cart, I noticed nothing was getting bagged so I started bagging it myself. She could have at least said something! No hello, no goodbye, just "put in your credit card now" is all I heard from her. Not coming back anytime soon! read more

Not as big of a fan as I was at first. The sales for the weekly ads have consistently gone downhill since opening. Prices seem to be only average now. The produce is complete junk in this location. Very limited selection of groceries, better off at Winco now. read more

I can not believe this place is even existing. This is no where near or close to trader joe. And another thing it suck that fresh and easy is no longer here. Its a good store, but i think its kind of ridiculous that they scan your items and put them back on your cart and then they make you go to the packing table when you go shopping the thing you want to do it go in and out as fast as you can and do the cashiers seriously have to be sitting down! read more

Time to write a review for Aldi! I have been shopping at this location since they opened. Originally, the store was pretty quiet, with few people because no one was familiar with the store. But, over time, traffic has increased and I find that week-ends are especially busy. Overall, Aldi's concept is a great match for me. I have been really happy with their Aldi brand products, returning only two. I understand the comments on produce, because it can be hit or miss. My fav's in the produce section are the seedless grapes - they're huge and tasty; and, the sliced watermelon. What a convenience for quick snacks. So far, my very BEST bargain at Aldi was found just last night. Whole bean coffee for $.25 per bag. Yes, $.25 per bag!! That's crazy, right? They cut prices to the bone sometimes and we are the lucky ones who get the crazy clearance pricing. Way to go Aldi, you have a life-time customer! :) read more
